They deliver same day, they're able to listen and make accommodations. There's always parking and easy access in and out of the store. I'm also disabled, and amputee with one leg, and I ride in a wheelchair and they're always there to greet me open and close the doors behind me and I've never had a problem. I appreciate them I've been using them for well over 15 years and will continue as long as I'm living anywhere near them. I can't be out here hyping every business up when that's not the reality. On 12/18 I had to come to this Walgreens for passport pictures. There was a woman working the picture area and I asked her politely TWICE "hello ma'am, is this where I take my passport pics?" She was doing something but she heard me, didn't even look at me or say "I'll be right with you". I went to the kiosk and started pressing passport option (I had no idea what I was doing to be honest) and this it asked for an employees ID number so I ask "hello? Can I please have your id number?" This lady still looking down (not looking at me ONCE) states her ID number. At this point I was pissed because she really was just ignoring me. After adding the info, I realized I really couldn't have the option to do the pics on my own. I could only upload images. I had to wait for one of the rudest employees I've come across in a while to be done ignoring me..now also others. While standing right in front of her and her back no longer turned, I ask again "are you able to help me with my passport pics??" Her: "yes I'll be right with you" FINALLY I replied "I've asked you 3 times and you've ignored me" as another customer says "welcome to Florida" I was on the verge of boiling. I kept it together and she changed her entire demeanor after I said that. But not before she gossiped with another co-worker while checking me out. I couldn't wait to get out of there. Unfortunately, this is the most convenient Walgreens on my drive however it is by FAR not the best at all. I hope the manager and staff are re-trained on customer service. One could never say I'm the rude customer. She was downright wrong and knew it.

Where's The Love?…read more Today, I want to share a personal experience that has deeply troubled me, highlighting a decline in the professional camaraderie, empathy, and respect that should be the cornerstone of our profession as pharmacists. While traveling and staying near a CVS Pharmacy in Hollywood, Florida on North Federal Hwy, I, a fellow CVS employee and pharmacist, found myself in need of a crucial maintenance medication that I had accidentally left at home. Expecting the usual supportive environment we pride ourselves on, I reached out to this CVS location for a simple medication transfer. However, what ensued was far from the standard of care and support I anticipated. After an extensive wait on the phone, which I attributed to potential short-staffing issues, the interaction with the pharmacist was disappointingly dismissive and unhelpful. Despite attempting to explain my situation and clarify that I didn't wish to disrupt my existing prescription arrangements in California, I was met with a brusque response that lacked any semblance of understanding or willingness to assist. The situation escalated when I visited the pharmacy in person, only to be denied my medication at the last moment and advised to visit a 24-hour CVS location without any guidance or support in locating it. The pharmacist did not step in! The pharmacist himself took my call and understood the urgency. He stayed hidden and did not show his face. I could easily see that this is the culture in this pharmacy department. This experience not only caused me significant distress, indicated by a concerning spike in my heart rate, but also left me questioning the current state of our profession. This incident stands in stark contrast to the Oath of a Pharmacist we all pledge to, which emphasizes the welfare of humanity, relief of suffering, and the importance of empathy and integrity in our practice Oath of a Pharmacist. It's disheartening to witness colleagues who seem to have lost sight of these fundamental values, prioritizing task completion over genuine patient care. I am grateful to Mrs. Matthews and Dr. Keagan for their eventual assistance, embodying the professional values we hold dear. Yet, this experience compels me to ask: What has become of our profession? How can we reignite the passion for pharmacy that is rooted in compassion, empathy, and support for one another and our patients? Let this serve as a call to action for all of us in the pharmacy community. We must reflect on our practices, attitudes, and the culture within our workplaces. It's imperative that we strive to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, ensuring that empathy and integrity are not just words in our oath but principles that guide our every interaction. Today, I received my 5th message to pick up and I've been back in my home state a week. Seems they filled the script as damage control because they can tell I put it up at the 25 minute Uber drive to the 24 hour location the district leader had to send me in the middle of the night. You have to weave in and out of the construction's way, there are workers everywhere (to the point that you feel like you're the burden there), and to access some things you have to move the ladders or containers out to the way. This is an accident just waiting to happen. If you have a small child please do not come here. In my 13 years in South Fl I've seen several stores such as Walgreens, Aldi, CVS being remodeled and I have never seen something this unprofessional. She at least got the grocery manager. He did not know how to check other stores. Said he can request the product and can call me when they get the product. That was waste of my time. How are employees not trained to use an application to cross reference other stores to help locate a product if it is available. Now I have to manually drive to each Publix to see for myself. I assumed he didn't understand what I was asking for. It didn't matter, I spotted some Raid on the shelf near the pottery. I eventually found the brand I looking for which was on clearance. I also was able to find a courteous male associate to price check the item (after a female associate said she couldn't do one) just to make sure it rang up at the listed price. It was accurate. Was out of that store in minutes. I'm not sure when I will return. Decent customer service was a bit difficult to get at this location.

Hard to find a spot and usually carts left in parking lot and no carts in store. The lines aren't very long, I've been here before, with 2-3 registers open and a line nearly half way back through the store so appear to have staffing issues. As of recently, it also seems like there's a whole section of women's clothing missing. I came across sportswear, bathing suits, and plus sized but maybe that's all Walmarts as it's maybe a biannual trip for me. I'd say it's worth a trip here over the mess and crowd in north Miami but also worth driving further west to go if you need to.
