In the world of chain pharmacies- this is not done. One of the major chain stores will not even honor requests for specific manufacturers of generic drugs. By law, these generic medications are allowed a 40% leeway from the original formula. Your heart medication or seizure medication if generic, only has to be 40% as effective- and they are selling it to you. If that's not disturbing enough, these chains will switch to the least expensive (to the chains) every month. It's vulgar, dangerous, and dehumanizing. My doctor (not the unqualified human checking me out at a pharmacy) sent a prescription over for 3 medications. When, I asked about the third being missing I was treated like I was the asshole for asking about it and she was giving me an incredible favor by filling it one day early. Let me share something that you all may not be aware of.... By the time the patient gets to the point of purchasing their ghastly overpriced medication, I promise you, our medical system has already put them through substantial hell. Allow me to elaborate on 12/12/25, I regrettably attempted suicide. I have been on 6 psych med changes by "qualified" physicians since July. That's 10 months. Imagine how well my body and mind are adjusting. For the first time, since my attempted suicide I have the same prescription for the first time for 2 consecutive months. How hopeful I was feeling after my appointment today thinking thank God, no changes, delays, meanness. Thank, God. Until, I arrive to your pharmacy, where Ms. cashier makes me feel like shit or a peasant begging for my pills. And if she wasn't the pharmacist who DEDICED whether or not I need my medication an hour after a visit with my doctor, then shame on your business 2X. While I fully understand your commitment to following public safety laws that are there for a reason, you clearly had the capability and stock to fill all 3 of my prescriptions today. Ms. cashier or pharmacist, I don't recall either of you discussing my diagnoses or medication with me ever. Folks, when it comes to mental health drugs, that one day you think is cute to fuck with could be the silent choice between life and death you would never even hear about or notice. We remain very pleased with the pharmaceutical services there. The staff is friendly, efficient, hard working, and clearly maker their care for their patients a priority. The two full time pharmacists and their. part time/fill-in associates go far above and beyond what is expected to standards that are usually only hoped for. We get all of our prescriptions meds, and most of our OTC meds from this Walgreens. We get nearly all of our inoculations there (with the staff there organizing clinics for us at the store. I pick up from the window and at the counter in the store. They typically have all of our meds grouped so they are ready for a fast/efficient pick up. When its comes to medicine related coaching/advice/counsel the professional pharmacists and their support staff are the best I have experienced in their consistency and effort. One anecdote...one of my residents went to visit family in another state several hundred miles away for an extended period. That person left all of his meds at the residence. With the help of the head pharmacist at the Byrnes Mill Walgreens a connection was made with the Walgreens in the city where he was visiting. The meds were ordered and gathered. The pharmacist there was able to charge them to the resident's medicaid account in my state....which took a good bit of work to do. The staff at my Walgreens rescued what could have been a very difficult situation. I go out of my way to thank the staff there regularly and am very happy to do so. Walgreens is a valuable ally and its staff a part of our retirement home staff. I most sincerely endorse their efforts.

I just wish there were signs you could see as you were approaching since there are multiple aisles in the pharmacy area. On the extremely rare occasion that they don't have enough to fill my prescription, they give me what they do have, then they immediately order it and deliver the remainder of that prescription to my home the next day!
