This is quite literally the worst cvs I've ever been to - this review extends to both the store and the pharmacy. First they failed to mention on their website that they don't give flu shots to kids under 12. So our appointments were worthless. Second, one of us (adult) decided to get the shot but, after 10 mins waiting, it became apparent no one was there to administer it. Fail! Also the store is practically devoid of actual products. I need to know if there are pharmacies that have received complaints for not filling their pain medication. Ever since 45 was in office, the CVS Pharmacy staff lied on me in my 2018 by telling my doctor I was an addict and doctor shopping. I had a Washington Adventist Hospital rehab specialist talk to my doctor to remind him that they came past my house to make sure I wasn't abusing the medication and it was proven that I was NOT, yet the CVS told my former doctor to not approve my pain medication and I had just had surgery, I was pin so much pain, I tried to kill myself, now they're doing it again! I know this for a fact because in the 90's I was so Pharmacy Tech and the Pharmacist use to hold onto pain medication prescriptions when HE decided the patients were addicts. The have a database called CRISP, which shows me having pain medications multiple times but I've had six many nor surgeries and have been admitted over 60 time into the hospital. When you are discharged you DO MOT get the same attending doctor. They would always give me 15-20 pills, in which the majority of them I never filled because my then, primary care doctor handled my pain management but he took their side and cut me off cold turkey. I was in so much pain that I overdosed on pills because I was in a fetal position on the floor shivering in pain! Everyone is so worried about their license they they DO harm to patients everyday. They are doing something illegal. At first my doctor called in for 10mg, they said that was on hold, so my doctor sent it in again for 5mg, I received a text saying the 5mg was being filled then another sayin it was ready. So my mother is at the CVS, now they're saying they don't have any 7.5, I told them they didn't send it as 7.5, my doctor sent it as 5mg now they're saying it's on hold again and that they have NONE of the medication. I cannot take this anymore. I'm filing a class action suit against CVS, and creating a petition against them do all patients that have had to deal with being lied on and labeled! Their CVS is located in a strip mall. I think it is safer to enter closest to CVS than the middle entrance by Price Rite. Drivers don't pay attention. The selection is adequate without being as nice as other CVS locations. There was a shortage of cashiers the day so visited. This meant more traffic at the pharmacy register. Bonus points for items on sale by the register. read more

This is the second cvs that you pay for online pickup photo book, these idiots send you a confirmation telling you "ready for pickup" and when you arrive they have nothing! (We have no books, machine is down) why the F you send me confirmation if you can't confirm sht you incompetent idiots. I can not confirm, but this feels like a way to illegally collect info and steal private photos while providing nothing. read more

I stayed on hold for almost 9 minutes. Used two phones, two different lines/numbers in case they picked up another line first. Never talked to anyone. Just piano music. Now calling another CVS to transfer my Rx so I can get the medication that was supposed to be ordered last week. read more

TERRIBLY UNORGANIZED + WRETCHED SERVICE + RIDICULOUS WAIT TIMES = AVOID AT ALL COSTS! 55 mins inside this place and yet I still left without my prescription. After an automated call from CVS that my prescription was ready, I stopped in here on rainy Sunday. SURPRISINGLY the line only had 3 ppl (usually the line has a minimum of 7 ppl waiting because there is only ever ONE worker actually helping ppl). Despite this, I waited for 20 mins just to get to the front -- because there were also issues with two of those ladies prescriptions too - talk about a bad sign! It's my turn and they try to charge me $33.56 for a prescription that should be free because my insurance doesn't require a copay. The worker insists that it is MY fault because I got new insurance. But i didn't. I've had this one for two years. Not only that, I was in the month earlier and spent AN HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINS updating my information with them because they "didn't have it" last time. I'm not even sure how it's possible to screw up this much! Anyways, they said wait 10 mins and they will fix it. I came back in 18 and it still wasn't done. The flippant way they dismissed my disappointment made me so mad I just ended up leaving... Without my prescription. For your reference, there are two Rite Aid options nearby (less than 6 mins drive!) here that require less of a wait and offer MUCH BETTER SERVICE. Today I had the pleasure of interacting with an exceedingly polite and thoughtful young man by the name of Biruk who works at the CVS 3130 Queens Chapel Road, Hyattsville MD 20782 location. He recognized my frustrated attempts using the photocopy machine and took the time to walk me through the steps required one at a time. He also asked pertinent questions to make sure I would get the result that I required. And when one of the prints fell into the wrong part of the machine and was bent he asked that I return in 15 minutes and all three copies would be ready. And true to his word all three prints were ready when I returned. If anyone wants a phenomenal shopping experience, superlative customer service and exceptional photocopy knowledge they should be sure to ask for Biruk. He is excellent at what he does and makes CVS look great. read more
