I asked him his name because I wanted to make sure I had it when I report him to the State Board of Pharmacy and to CVS corporate. As a response he took the insulin away from me that was for my son, who had run out of supply today. He said he wasn't CVS and didn't have to give me the insulin and forced me to apologize. I will never patronize the CityWayCVS again and if I can help it, any CVS which is hard due to their monopoly on the market. Completely uncalled for and unprofessional.

This place…read moreis usually super busy, I have never waited less than a couple people in front of me, but the pharmacists and techs could not be more patient or helpful. Typically at less one person in front of me is in a rush or has an issue with something or frankly an attitude with the techs. Every time I have come, they have acted with patience and kindness and took all the time needed to make sure people understand the issues they may be having or the delay in their medications. And they always apologize to me if there has been a delay in my wait yime. Could not have better things to say about this location!

It's air conditioned which is a major plus and it feels so good! It opened in 1966 and as of August 2021 they've had 3 million visitors come through the doors! The inside is floor to ceiling with natural wood and takes you back in time. They have a lot of information about drugs they used backs then and it's a great way to learn and cool off at the same time. They just announced that this year for the 2022 Taste of the State Fair they will be offering a iced mocha coffee float! Sounds good! I always get one of those long licorice ropes and one of the great ice cream floats anytime I've been there. They sell New York egg creams which doesn't have eggs in them at all. It's soda water, ice cream and syrup. Basically if you're wanting some deliciousness and something cold pick one of the many floats they offer.

So you tell the automated system you want to talk to the pharmacy, and then IT says, "Please leave a voicemail with your name and number and we'll call you back within an hour." No option to go on hold, no option to explain to the machine that you need to see if they have a medication in stock, just "Leave a voicemail!" I don't want to leave a voicemail, I want to talk to a person, I'm on hold to talk to a person, I don't want you to call me back in 45 minutes while I'm making lunch. If you can't handle your call volume, hire more people or install more phones, or prepare to keep losing patients, because you just lost me.

However, it was still showing as filled at my pharmacy in Illinois so insurance wasn't covering. Amy told me to have my pharmacy back it out, and then she would fill it. I have used Kroger Pharmacy in Mooresville IN for several year. The service has never been great…read morebut it is getting worse and worse. Prescriptions are constantly late for the promised time. Some of the techs are rude and unhelpfu. Dealing with them by phone is nearly impossible. I ordered a refill yesterday and i was promised a prescription for today at 3:00 pm. After waiting in line at the drive thru I was told that they were running 4 hours late. This happens often. I don't think that the problem is the Pharmacist it's an under staffing issue.
