I was in line at the drive thru and waiting a long time. When you finally get to the window, you wait again for another 3-5 minutes and they are all in there but you are invisible. The last time I went thru, I just finally got to the window and they pulled down the shade - they close every day for 30 minutes for lunch. I worked 35 years and we made sure someone was always working during the lunch hours. This is 2026 and Inverness is no longer a small time town. You should grow up and manage your employees so you can take care of your customers throughout the day. This closing at lunch goes back to the 40's and 50's!! read more

Rude and extremely slow service at the drive thru. I'm very frustrated by the lady working the drive thru. She is obviously over worked and doesn't know how to deal with customers. CVS is my go to drug store but this happened the last time I was there as well. I'm moving my script to another pharmacy that respects customers. I suggest more help in the pharmacy. CAVEAT EMPTOR- my friends! It's been challenging with this CVS to say the least......Every time my physicians calls in a RX, I say let the battle begin. MY doc's (btw- I work for them) call it in at 9 am...I go to the store at 4pm to pick it up and they say that'll be 15 minutes or so it's not ready "EVERYTIME" (I mean every time). Now the Corporate pitch is for the pharmacy cashier's to ask "Would you like a 90 day supply, next time"? BUT, they leave out one small issue "That'll be 3 X's the copay, for your 3 month supply". If I may suggest, please use you own mail order pharmacy (under your insurance plan), 1 copay for 3 months supply is the norm. After an argument with a Pharm tech (mind you, she was talking over me while I was trying to explain to her that wasn't fair....She was not receiving because she would NOT stop talking over me instead of listening) So, I went back to CVS & asked to speak to the Pharmacist Manager (who is wonderful)..understood and credited me with a refund of the two additional copays. This is my normal pharmacy. I also shop the front part of the store and take advantage of the coupon center and Extra Bucks. I have always been greeted as soon as I come in the store. If I head towards the pharmacy, the staff there is normally engaging. It all depends on how busy they are. I will scan my Extra Care card at the coupon center each time I visit. This also me to shop and save money on items I already buy. It is very rare when I see an item not in stock. They are very quick to fill the holes. I have never used the photo center, but it is available and mainly self-service. They also take passport photos. I have used the restroom and they cleaner than most CVS's I have been to. I just wish corporate would target this store for a remodel as it could use a facelift. Mostly because it needs to look more modern. I will always frequent this CVS. Feel confident shopping here when in the area. read more

Extremely rude customer service. Very lazy. On multiple occasions they have completely messed up my prescriptions requiring me to resolve the errors they made with my doctor and resubmitting. I am not sure if all CVS locations are as poorly managed as this one in Inverness, FL but I do know I'll never do business with CVS again. OptumRx for me. They are awesome and 100% of my prescriptions are nearly have the cost of CVS!!!! read more

They are ok. Problem is, it would not matter if my doctor called in a prescription 30 years ago; the second I get to the counter they would tell me "it'll be 15 minutes." Really? You mean it takes THAT long to fill an antibiotic? My kid's pediatrician sent in a prescription at 12:00, and I go to get it at 8:00. "It'll be 15 minutes." So, let me get this straight, the 500 filled prescriptions behind the counter were ALL called in days ago, and you are just now, the moment I walked in at 8:00 at night, getting around to filling mine? Sorry. Bullshit. I get being busy, but if you'd just fill them as sent over, I could walk in and grab them without a wait. God forbid. read more
