I found myself fought up in the opioid supply crisis. I am a long time pain patient that suffers from debilitating pain from multiple injuries. Pain so intense it will make be black out. Taking opiates is not a choice it's the only way I can function at a level I can cope with. All but one pharmacy in my county was out of the pain med I take except this one. They insisted I transferred all of my prescriptions to them and then filled my pain med prescription. At this point I was 3 days without any meds. When I went to pick up my order I was charged $50 extra for " the paperwork for the DEA" This extra charge was not told to me in advanced . This charge to me is extortion , it may it may not be legal regardless to me it's unethical. I will never use them again. This experience has left me feeling robbed. read more

Come in and take a walk back in time to a simpler age when the five & dime was popular. This drug store really for the most part resembles a 1960's Woolworth's - lunch counter included. This modern day version adds on a prescription dept. and a post office. The only thing it's missing is the old photo booth you would find in a five & dime store. Can you tell I love it here? Everything you need to shop for is in one place. Greeting cards, purses, medical aids, cosmetics, pet items, household supplies & even a few food items. They even sell scratch off lottery tickets. There's a number of decorative & collectible departments such as Native American, Coca Cola, John Deere & Wizard of Oz collectibles. Some I'm thinking might be for tourists. During our recent Stay in Inverness, I noticed the Rexall Drug store had a restaurant. Being the food adventurer I am, I dragged my wife in for the Breakfast. We didn't order the $.88 special, but what we did order was good. We came back for dinner, that night it was the all you can eat fish ($8.99) The Fish was lightly breaded catfish, and the basket came out with an ample portion. Indeed that was all we could eat. The fish was not frozen. but fresh with a light breading. I've had better, but not in awhile. I was definitely not unhappy and ate all of it. The store itself in kinda neat. Lots of Kitsch, heavy on the Coca Cola, John Deere and Wizard of Oz memorabilia and gifts. The food is reasonable and service is good. Worth a sit down in Inverness. read more

Home of the 88 cent breakfast gave us the impression they would have some great breakfast specials. Other than these specials which obviously were going to be pretty light weight meals their prices were not all that special. Our food was ok, but when it came time to pay they totaled it and charged my visa 20.23. Two $6 breakfasts and 2 beverages do not add up to $20 so I asked her to ad it again. Now with 7 people in line to pay a second waitress comes over and ads it up and gets 16.65 + tax but she can't figure out the tax and tells the other one to get the manager. She then comes back and gives me a dollar change. Thanks for the aggravation and my apologies to the people waiting to check out, I would have been there all day if I made them get this right. I figure they still owe me 4 88 cent breakfasts, but we won't be back. read more

To write a review, I had to give one star. The service was extremely slow. When our order came up, our server had to re-read order to cook. Ordered home fries with cooked onions. The cook took the home fries back and threw some raw onions on top and sent them out. After our server brought them to our table, we said something about them and she took them back and put them on the grill for a minute. Still raw. Stack of pancakes, bottom one was not done, sausage patties old and greasy. Got bill, charge for onions in home fries. A big disappointment and $20 shot. read more

This place doesn't stand-out or anything, but it has a little 50's-style cafe inside that advertise an 88cent breakfast. The rest of the food is good and inexpensive as well, but you get what you pay for. It's all pretty greasy - for those who like to dab their food with a napkin before they eat it they might as well look for another place instead of wasting napkins here, haha. Food comes out fast and hot and the staff is very nice. The rest of the store is full of knick-knacks: dolls, figurines, a corner entirely dedicated to horse, cow and chicken figures. Of course, it wouldn't be a drug store without medicine and scratch-off tickets. If you aren't looking for anything fancy and just need a quick bite to eat, this place does the trick - plus, for last-minute gift shopping, this place is ideal! read more

This is a review for the Rexall Diner. My husband and I go there maybe once a month for breakfast (which is served all day). Service is semi good, it just depends on who wait on you. We sit close to the kitchen so if the is a problem I can contact the manager, who is familiar with me (I make a point of meeting an owner or manager) and have him work on it. We always order two .88 cent breakfasts each, me the eggs and toast w/ grits, hubby gets toast and gravy, and we both order water because the coffee costs more than the meal. Food is good and quick, I do NOT recommend the biscuit, tastes bad and it's ugly. Plus they do not have real butter. One stall bathroom in main store area. read more

The following is an 88 cent breakfast restaurant review. While B&W Rexall is an ok place, what really caught me off guard was the restaurant in the store. Pretty much everything here is 50s style and like one yelper said you get what you paid for. I had the 88 cent breakfast, biscut & gravy, and pancakes. The 88 cent breakfast was ok. The pancakes were well done. The biscut and gravy was a new experience for me. But what really got the stars up to 4 was the MALT! I could go there everyday and have a malt. Its close and it delicious. I would highly recommend if you are a fan of malts to at least try that. You should also specify if you want it thick. read more

I went in to pick up meds and they would not use my insurance for some of the medicine. I did not understand why but found out they don't get paid to good on some and so I would have to pay cash price. I thought if a place accepts a certain type of insurance then they should not pick and choose what medicine they fill based on price. Inverness B&W, needs a new employee, when a customer comes in to buy compression hose.... We told her my husband's measurements.... She picked-out the two pair of hose.... I can not even put the opened hose over his toes(using the spray/the device to put on by yourself).... These two boxes had different measurement guidelines(read/after the problem).... Called back, the employee, told me they could not accept the pair not worn.... I am a RN...I never follow a patient's word that he is suppose to get a higher dose of pain medication.... I call the dr..... She should have did measures herself.... I did not curse or scream at her.... She hung-up on me. So, the replies you read about rude employees(some) is the truth! I made the mistake of bringing 3 prescriptions to be filled here and I was lied to by the manager who told me my health insurance wouldn't pay for my medications, so I shelled out over a hundred dollars for an inhaler and antibiotics and then called my insurance provider who told me that they hadn't refused to pay for anything. The customer service agent then called the pharmacist to see if he would refund the amount I paid so that the insurance could cover it and he flatly refused. In fact, he lied to them saying that I didn't have the right identification! (This after my driver's license and insurance card were photocopied by them!!) I went back inside the store and tried to return the medications he said I couldn't. He was very rude, double-talked to me telling me that I needed, "the new card." Then after three people lined up behind me he told me to get behind them so he could help the, "customers." I told him that I would report his actions and he defiantly and happily told me to, "go ahead." It is clear that this is an unfair business practice that this guy had experience in doing this kind of thing. I recommend seeking out a chain store to get your prescriptions filled! read more

Food is relatively inexpensive and good. Love the decor and small town feel, it's like stepping back into a simpler time.

For a small town cafe I thought the food was good and reasonably priced. The fish fry on Friday night is a very mild fish with the very tasty side dishes and my husband was pleased that it was all you can eat!! We have been there twice and enjoyed both the meals and will go back!! read more

It's not pretentious, the food is good and at a great price (compared to the chain restaurants everywhere). $10 for prime rib dinner with dessert is hard to beat. All you can eat fish on Fridays. And their variouse lunch, dinner deals. On today's visit we decided to try out their cute little nostalgic diner. So glad we did. Cant beleive we have been missing out on this for so long. The menu is fantastik. So hard to choose what we wanted. We decided to go for the breakfast. I chose their signiture omelett. My wife chose the sausage bisquits and gravy. Gotta say with no conviction absolutly the best omelett I have ever had anywhere. And my wife raved about her meal as well. Very friendly knowlagable staff. Couldnt ask for better service.
