I tried going to vanco one day for an over-the-counter medicine and I had gone in for it on the regular and the pharmacist took note and said he had ordered more so he could make sure that he had it in stock for me. This place is a local business that should be supported! You know that all your pharmacy options when it comes to large corporations are never going to give you the same hands-on experience. It truly is run by some of the nicest people in commack. I have officially switched all my prescriptions over. :)

I also met a lovely woman ( see business card pix) Voula and had a brief chat. I purchased some toys for gifts and even a box of Oreos. There were some nice stirring silver charms stored an on display in the back. She noted that she is getting even more of a variety of choice items in soon. As I don't use their pharmacy, I can't comment further on that area. Seems to me to be a good place to shop for upcoming holiday gifts.

After speaking with the owner Mike this morning, the situation has been sorted out. He treated both my father and I respectfully, explained why and what happened, and rectified the issue. Thanks Mike! Not sure what's going on over there tonight. I was a customer for over 9 years. I received my prescription and it was short by 6. I was with my father and noticed the box was not sealed before we left the parking lot. We immediately went back in to explain and was not only belittled but yelled at about how we were at fault, somehow trying to get over on them by receiving 6 extra, and that I had only been a client for a year? As if that was somehow applicable to the short prescription issue. Like I said, I've been going to Town Drug for almost a decade with little issue and even have proof of this through old prescriptions. Yet, instead of trying to fix the situation amicably, the pharmacist became belligerent and dismissive. The owner Mike has rectified the situation.

Starting from Dr. Sarah, Gina, Alicia, John, Joe, are the pharmacists and assistant pharmacists have been so accommodating over the years and have made various calls and have climbed mountains to get me medication last minute when I was very very sick.
