This store is super close to the hotel where I'm staying. It takes less than five minutes by car. I came here to get some beverages. I ended up getting a twelve-pack of Diet Dr. Pepper. This store has everything you need. Fake nails? Yep. Shampoo? Sure. Advil? Yes. Sugar-free candy? Definitely. I was in the hair care section. There were two women getting hair dye. One was on the phone and abruptly left. Her offspring had swallowed something toxic, so she told the person on the other line to call 911. The other woman followed suit. I hope that everyone is fine. It was so unexpected to hear. This drugstore had a lot of plushies. It had Disney pride plushies. There were along a bunch of Squishmallows. Everything made me happy. I went to the checkout to pay for my items. I had a man help me. He was friendly. I entered my phone number to take advantage of discounts. I paid with a credit card. The transaction was smooth. My second visit was at around 10:40 pm on my birthday. I wanted to grab a bite to eat. Nothing major. I wanted a snack of some sort. The local Taco Bell was closed. I came to this Walgreens, and it was closed, too. The reason why I was disappointed was that this drugstore is supposed to be open 24 hours a day, according to the sign outside. It shuttered at 10 pm and was scheduled to reopen at 8 am, according to another sign. Bummer. It's a good drugstore. If you do get the munchies late at night, you are better off finding a different place in case it decides to shutter early. (225)

Back in Atlanta, my prescriptions were filled quickly and the staff was genuinely pleasant. That has not been the case here. Every time I visit the counter, the staff seems visibly annoyed -- not just with me, but seemingly with everyone. There's a coldness there that's hard to ignore, and it makes an already stressful errand feel even more unpleasant. But the bigger issue is efficiency. I have been waiting three weeks for a prescription refill. Three weeks. I've called my insurance company -- approved. I've called my doctor -- approved. Every piece of the puzzle is in place on my end, yet somehow this pharmacy can't get it across the finish line. No clear answers, no follow-through, no urgency. I understand that pharmacies are busy and that healthcare is complicated. But three weeks with no resolution, combined with consistently indifferent service, is simply unacceptable. I'd encourage management to take a serious look at both staffing and customer communication here. Other patients are counting on these medications.

Anyway, someone finally open the drop off window door and I turned in a prescription today around 2:30 p.m. and was told it would be ready at 4. I was told I'd also receive a text message. At 6 p.m. I called the pharmacy and was told my prescription couldn't be filled until next week. I did not receive any notice prior to calling even though they had my phone #. If they didn't have the medication when I turned in the prescription I should have been informed and have the opportunity to go else where. This was my first and last experience with this Krogers pharmacy.

It's been literal years since I last stepped foot into Target and I remembered exactly why it's…read morebeen so long this past visit. This particular Target isn't as bright as I remember any Target being. The lighting seemed dimmer and the energy was depressing. We had just moved to TN and needed toilet brushes/plunger sets for the bathrooms as well as trash cans. I had a $50 gift card that had been sitting in my wallet for at least 3 years, so I figured, why not use it? There are THREE separate locations in Target to find their toilet/plunger sets and every one of them is over $18 each. For a piece of plastic and rubber?! Target is so outrageously expensive, I don't understand the hype. This wasn't even their fancy looking ones, no...those go for at least $30. The $18 sets were just plain white plastic. We decided to shop for those things elsewhere but did grab some snacks, milk, almond milk, and paper plates until our movers arrived. Their soda-stream CO2 tanks and syrups were on sale so we bought another tank and two syrups. Stock was low on a lot of stuff and some shelves were empty. In total, we we spent $68 for two bags of chips, 1 gallon of milk, 1 half gallon of almond milk, a package of 25 paper plates, one soda stream C02 tank, and two soda stream syrups. That's insane! And not in a good way. We did self check out but one item didn't scan correctly. The employee helped us and was friendly. Based on how unaffordable Target has gotten, I'm definitely not going again unless I get another gift card. Target is just an expensive version of Walmart, for no reason at all.
