This is usually an average pharmacy, pretty standard. When things go right, they are great, friendly and easy to deal with. However, often times I've had to argue about scripts that were delayed. They had filled the wrong script and caused me hours of phone calls and undue stress with doctors and insurance companies. Then it turned out they had been filling an old script and ignored the current one. Luckily, my persistence got them to find it in their system. My main problem with this pharmacy is one particular staff member. She is so nasty that my daughter even asked me why she was such an evil Karen. I know this person doesn't have to be this way. I actually saw a human side of her once and had a very pleasant conversation. It was so rare, that it stood out and I came home and told my husband about it. I had hope that I had finally broken through and she would be nice going forward but last time I was there she treated me like I was being booked for a crime in jail. I understand this is a thankless job at times. Probably similar to the first job I had at a cleaners. Never ending demand, dealing with insurance companies, grumpy people, etc. but she makes going there a dreadful experience. If you go here, be ready to be treated badly if you encounter CVS Karen. Went here to get prescription picked up. Entire pharmacy staff incredibly bothered, rude, and mean to myself and elderly patients. They additionally racially profiled me and would not stop calling me "Maria." Would not recommend going here if you are of color or a person who values respect. read more

Absolute worst experience of my life. Called the pharmacy 4 times, over an hour and a half (yes, really); about 18 different prompts (asking if I want the pharmacy 3 times), to sit on hold for 20 mins, have the pharmacy answer and then hang up. Four times in a row! I called the front desk and explained, asking if they could walk back there, they couldn't have cared less, transferred me to someone else at the front who hung up on me. I went to a store and the manufacturer coupon wasn't working (they never do!!) and the manager at this store was condescending, telling me to go other stores to buy things "sweetheart" and "better luck somewhere else" then told me to fuck off. Worst pharmacy in the world!! They send me texts that my medications is ready and when i show up they act confused. They run out of my medication all the time and can never give me an update when my medication will be back in stock. My doctor generally has to call them 2-3 times to get them to fill something. read more

This location used to be so good when there was a male manager that I changed from Costco. He left few years ago and It is now SO BAD. It takes them soooo long to answer the phone. One time I was holding so long, i kept holding and drove 7min to their drive through and watch them all talking to each other as I waited in line and on the phone. If you have more than 1 prescription they text and when u get there only 1 Is ready or insurance issue or need to ask Dr questions... I understand stand that happens but the problem is there is no follow through. If I don't call back to check it will never get filled. Last Tuesday, after couple of days waiting, I had it call them and call the drs office to make sure the additional approval got submitted. Today is Thursday... that was 9 days ago. I dread calling them as I have to hold forever...I called this morning and (only had to hold for 5 min on the phone) and she processes it and she said it went through but don't have enough in inventory to fill it so I have to wait till tomorrow afternoon. When I asked when the approval came through? She said she doesn't know... so if I had not called it never would have been filled? This kind of stuff, holding forever just lack of normal common customers service... Im going to change Pharmacy. I would say they would be upset to lose clients but in this location I'm thinking they will be happy to have less clients for less work. Seriously, CVS- your dealing with peoples health... should take all your 1star reviews seriously. Just called to ask the difference in two birth control medications and how they compare for effectiveness and if I can begin taking the new one and keep the same effectiveness of birth control. The pharmacist stated she couldn't tell me because she's "never heard of the prescription that I was prescribed". Wow! Never heard of it...I was prescribed the prescription and I filled it at CVS and the pharmacist has no knowledge of the prescription or how to obtain the details pertaining to the prescription. Mikayla at the pharmacy was the most helpful pharmacy person I've ever encountered. I was having RX issues getting it transferred here and she went above and beyond to try and help. It wasn't their fault but rather Good RX's. To put in perspective - I had to talk to Cvs in target across the street from them and it was not pleasant. The previous reviewer was right about the hold times on the phone. I have waited over 15 minutes to speak with someone there multiple times. It's always a hassle. There was error with a prescription there was 20 minutes to go before closing Vivian was not helpful at all and unfriendly unhelpful tone. love My local CVS abut this person needs some serious coaching on how to speak to customers and show a bit of empathy. I was dealing with a sick child that was in the urgent care at Phoenix children waiting for me to come back with medicine not only was he dealing with the flu, but also anaphylactic shock Vivian as a pharmacist. You are sometimes dealing with people who are stressed because you deal with people that are potentially sick or people who have sick children or sick parents. if you can't grasp that concept, perhaps you should try applying at the motor vehicle department. pharmacist are supposed to be helpful and kind. You could probably see that I was stressed because I was trying to get this medicine for my son however, the only thing you were concerned about was whether or not I was going to get the corrected prescription from the doctor by 10 o'clock. Your comment "I have to be out of here by 10" and the way that you said it was incredibly rude. I'm going to make sure I reach out to CVS directly as well. I initially was not going to send this but when I return to Phoenix children's the doctor was waiting and asked me if everything went OK with the prescription, I said yes but when she said who was that person in the pharmacy that she spoke to she was so rude I thought I am definitely sending this now because I could see that it was not isolated with only myself, but you were also rude to the doctor. Had a RX sent here for my step son. Got a text message to use their portal to send in insurance information - so I sent the info in. Went to pick up the RX and they tried to charge the full price. I asked about Insurance and they said they did not take the plan and that I needed to transfer to Walgreens, so I did. Went to Walgreens to pickup the next day and they said that they did not take The insurance and so I called the insurance company and they told me the closest pharmacy was this CVS. So I drove back and went Inside the pharmacy and they had the wrong insurance entered. So I gave them the correct info again. They apologized but said they would have to transfer it back but they would have it done between 3-4 that day. I went back after 4, and they gave us the same story (insurance didn't work etc). When we questioned them more we found out they had done nothing and we now have to wait again for them to do the job they messed up in the first place. The pharmacist and the cashier were very rude! Went to this CVS location tonight about 15 mins before for close for only a quick item to grab. As soon as we walked in the employee working: Rob let us know they close in 15 mins, we said okay. Kid you not over the intercom there was 4 different reminders they close soon. As my friend and I are walking to the front to check out, Rob loudly announced over one of the aisles to us "we close soon you need to wrap it up" It was very unwelcoming and uncalled for.
