**UPDATE** Randel, the owner contacted me right away and thanked me for my business and had the manager call and go over EVERY prescription I have there. This is the way to run a business. Metier obviously values their customers very much. Thank you Randel!! I've used this pharmacy for 5 years. I'm not sure what happened but they went from being amazing to not even answering the phone. My new pharmacy has requested transfer of all my medications twice and it still has not been completed. I've tried to call and no answer, just an answering machine which usually has a voicemail box that is too full. It's sad. Try and support local business and this happens. Disappointed. read more

I found Metier Pharmacy when there was a shortage on a certain medication a little over a year ago and seen them on the news. I am so glad to have found them as I continue to be a customer. It's a small local pharmacy off of 32nd Street and Indian School and what I absolutely love about them is that they always provides excellent customer service! I live about 30 minutes away from this pharmacy and there are many pharmacies in between but I will always choose them due to their consistency, professionalism, and willingness to put their patients needs first. It seems like anytime somebody leaves a negative review you attack them and tell them they are lying. Let's get one thing straight... I never once cursed at one of your employees, or was rude to them. The unprofessionalism of both yourself and your staff is absolutely awe inspiring. It's time that you have a little bit of accountability for yourselves. The fact that you were unable to obtain my medication's time after time or they were late being delivered or I just heard nothing from you or your staff is laughable. Not to mention you sent the wrong medication or the wrong dosage multiple times. Every month I had to babysit you and your staff because you could not get dates right or prescriptions, correct. I have also seen on here that your employee, Robin, has been complained about multiple times. So... Obviously, that is not all my fault. I absolutely understood that you were unable... Once again... To obtain a prescription for me, but the fact that nobody called to alert me to this or nobody helped to try and find it Any place else shows your incompetence. You do not care about your patients well-being or their health. That is my experience with both you and your staff. Trust me... I would have loved to have left you a positive review, however, after the past 3 1/2 years of being treated like garbage by your staff and yourself, I felt compelled to leave this review. Also, the only reason I stayed and continually gave my business for 3 1/2 years was that I was informed that you were the only pharmacy That was able to obtain this particular prescription. That is the absolute only reason I put up with what I've had to put up with. If you would like for me to post all of my correspondence with you and your staff, I would be happy to do that. If you would like for me to post each and every mistake, error, and bit of negligence, I would be more than happy to do that as well. take some accountability. I have had to contact you time and time again inquiring as to where my prescription was and why it had not been delivered in the time it was supposed to. Also, the fact that you know that someone's medication is time sensitive yet you do not bother to reach out to that patient in any way shape or form to inform them that you cannot get their prescription, screams incompetence. Friendly, kind, understanding, helpful, communicative, local compounding pharmacy. They always do their best to find the best way to cut costs. They call and check if things aren't in stock or if there are multiple options before filling. I liked their former location better, but I still use them and recommend to everyone in AZ. read more

I've been coming here for awhile. I was even a customer when they were at the old location. My cat has his med compounded there. They apparently ran out of the base and it's now this chalky white base. He gags on it now. When I emailed them, they called me and said nope it was made correctly and "you just have a picky cat on your hands" Firstly, he has been on this med since April 2018 and never ONCE had a problem. Secondly, the "oh well" attitude when this is a life sustaining med he needs and blaming him? They should have let me know they were not using the same formula. That's the reason my cat's neurologist said to keep him at the same pharmacy even when I moved 1500 miles away. Out of all the times I asked for automatic refill, only one time did it get shipped automatically. They always had problems auto refilling it and I always had to call to say, hey is this going to be refilled? I get there are shortages, but I had enough to last about a week longer. Instead I wasted $60 and the oh well attitude was not appreciated. read more

I never thought going to the pharmacy would be a pleasant experience, but Metier makes it a breeze! No more dealing with pharmacy techs with bad attitudes and stressful waits next to sick people at a typical drugstore. I was instantly greeted when I walked in and my prescription was ready in less than 5 minutes. There's both a cute boutique off to the side and a nice courtyard bordered by sour orange hedges in the front to enjoy while you wait. And the best part? Absolutely NO crowd or unpleasant staff. The only downside is that the pharmacy closes at 1pm on Saturday and is closed on Sundays; however, it's understandable since it's locally owned and very much a boutique. My understanding is prescriptions can also be delivered or mailed, which mitigates the limited weekend hours. read more

I have been using this pharmacy for years now. This past year things have changed some with getting my refills refilled properly. I received a phone call today from Randall (the owner) stating he was completely unaware of the difficulties I have been experiencing. He assured me that they will be taken care of from here going forward. First of all, it is virtually unheard of for a business owner to personally reach out to anyone! But he did and with a simple apology and the follow up I received he told Me to reach out to him anytime with any further concerns. Okay, so from here going forward hopefully things will go much smoother. Looking forward to not having to oversee my refills. Oh and btw this location is beautiful! Up until this year I was very happy with the pharmacy. They now used this company to transport the medication. Well it too them from 10 am Wednesday 5/29 to Thursday night at about 8 pm when I found the medication on my front door. The driver never rang my doorbell. So, I don't know when delivered. The ice pack was warm and medicine box was warm. This medication cannot be above 77 degrees. Thursday night was 92. Pharmacy had not called back to let me know if they were going to replace the medication. Good luck getting medication safely in 100 plus weather read more

The owner, Randle, is one of a kind and moves mountains for his clientele as well as staff. His loyalty and passion, hence the name, is not only evident when speaking with him but also his team. Something that I appreciate is their innovation and adaptability to the community's needs--jumping right in with providing LEGITIMATE COVID-19 testing that keep others safe and sound (proving a whole lot), selling high-end natural brands to provide alternative options for those that appreciate high quality, organic products (yes this includes bath bombs and shampoos for that luxury touch), and are VERY efficient with prescriptions. TL;DR... not sure if incompetent or shady, but neither is worth doing business with These people called in February claiming they had prescriptions for my mother since last December. This, despite the fact that we have never heard of this business, let alone authorized them as a provider for her for anything and this contact was the first ever received on a prescription that was allegedly already months old. When this information was provided to the employee who called us, along with a simple request to cancel anything they supposedly have on file for us and lose our phone number, she began pressing to find out precisely who my mother fulfills her prescriptions with, since a simple "ok" was apparently too much to ask. Only after multiple requests to cancel anything listed in my mother's name did the employee finally agree to do so but the very next day we get the same phone call again. read more

I have been a customer of Metier Pharmacy for as long as I can remember, probably 15-20 years. I used to love this pharmacy and made it a point to support a local business despite the fact that it was not always convenient. Today, they shattered my hope for the future of small business. I was basically told to go some place else because I dared to ask for an explanation why the wrong prescription was sent for approval. Not only was it irresponsible to recommend that I take a medication my doctor discontinued due to severe adverse reaction, but to revert to "go some place else if you don't like it", was simply disappointing. This pharmacy treats all of its patients like family. Their namesake rings true, since "metier" means an occupation that is ones true calling. You feel the white glove, and genuine care from each employee you interact with whether it be via phone or in person. I live in California, and have gone through numerous pharmacies because I have been put off & frankly I never felt like a priority since I need RX for a pet dog. At Metier, they know that our pets are our family too. The comfort and care I have felt from all of its members, especially owner Randle, has put me at ease. Randle, and his team, have helped me time and time again. I have never once felt like I was "out of state" or "getting a prescription for just a dog". The feeling I get when I call, is that I am their most important call of the day & I know (from friends that also use this pharmacy) is that is how they are left to feel too. The work these great people are doing is beautiful, and I am so saddened to see a review such as the one from Jeremy H. I find that down right defamatory and completely disgusting. Super cute local pharmacy. The total opposite of the spectrum from any pharmacy you'll ever step into these days. It gives off more of a boutique vibe, which was warm and welcoming and not intimidating at all. The girl at the counter greeted me and offered her assistance if I needed anything. I was actually stopping by as I've recently relocated to the area for a few months and my already dry skin has been a nightmare. I've learned in the past that Avene products work best for me and this was the only place I could find them. According to the pharmacist, it is the ONLY place in AZ that sells Avene other than dermatologist offices. The pharmacist kindly helped me decide between two products and even gave me a sample of another product that I ended up getting the full size of since it was so great for my skin! So I'm extremely grateful that he gave me the sample and helped me make an educated decision on which product was best for my problem skin. My skin is already doing so much better. This is the pharmacy of my dreams! The pharmacist and techs all remember your name and greet you warmly when you walk in. They know my prescriptions better than I do and call to remind me when its time for refills. Dr. House has also recommended some great practitioners in the area that my Husband and I both go to. They have a compounding pharmacy here too, which is rare. They carry high end lotions and candles as well and are also conveniently next to a cute flower shop. Love this little gem! read more
