I stopped at this CVS to get some snacks as I was on my way to visiting friends. The store is part of a strip mall, so parking is in the open plaza lot. Not a problem, the plaza is very large and there's plenty of spaces right in front of the store. The store is a bit smaller than other CVS stores I have been to, but they did have a good selection of snacks to choose from. Their generic brand called Gold Emblem is a good quality private label that carries a large selection of nuts, salty snacks, chips, popcorn, etc....they also have some unique flavors that you might not be able to find when shopping national brands. This location is the worst. The cashier bad attitude. We bought a gift card . The numbers were erased . Came back w gift receipt from cvs and were told that was between us and the card issuer??? Really . The card issuer hasn't replaced the gift card in 4 months. Cvs only cares about the pharmacy disgusting the goods inside the don't care at all. Shame. read more

Avoid this CVS Pharmacy at all costs, my insurance requires me to use CVS and this is the closest location to my home. I have a few reoccurring scripts I have filled and try whenever possible to have them delivered. One script is NOT covered by my insurance so I use a discount card to reduce the cost. CVS does have the best price when using these cards. Problem: this medication is a controlled hormonal substance and cannot be delivered. I've been on it since 2022-ish and have to get a renewal script every 120 days. The last renewal I handed to the PHARMACIST MANAGER. The first time ever I get "we don't stock this so I'll have to order it. I'll call you in 3-4 days when it's ready". After 4 days, I noticed on the CVS app it saying "insurance authorization required". I decided to message the pharmacy to inform them I've never used insurance and it's on my account that I have a discount card." I never received a call or message back. I decided to go in person the next day. Below is a summary of what happened: 1. Seems like they may have misplaced my script. Took them a while to locate it. 2. Once located, it had writing from the pharmacist all over it. When I attempted to take the script to Publix, they told me they couldn't accept because it was written on. I was forced to go back to this CVS to deal with it. 3. Argued with the PHARMACIST MANAGER about never calling me as she said, and had this been a medication that was life threatening such as insulin, how would they have responded then. She tells me "it's almost impossible to keep up with all the scripts that need a phone call and that's why the CVS app has a notification system to text or call automatically." I'm sure the Florida Board of Pharmacist would question this. This is what I would call 'Failure to exercise due diligence in processing controlled substance prescriptions' 1 week without a hormonal replacement medication can wreak havoc on a persons body. It's my fault for waiting til I was completely out of the medication, but I've never had this problem before read more

My son and I was racially profiled. I went to buy a gift card. He told me he's unable to sell gift cards after 8 PM. There is no sign listed in the store that states I cannot buy a gift card after 8 PM. Josh also told me when I ask why because if I walked him out of $500 how would he get his $500 back? I was only trying to get a $25 gift card for my sons friends birthday. This is ridiculous and corporate will be notified regarding the starting stipulations and starting stores. I went to another local CVS and was able to purchase the gift card when called and asked what was the store managers name he was very short and a brat and treated me as if I was nothing. read more

If CVS didn't have a lock on being the provider for major insurance companies, I'm not sure they'd be in business. Apparently it is an acceptable response when asked why they didn't order my medication when I first asked them to, to say "well I wasn't here Monday". Um, that's nice. I hope you enjoyed your day off. Sadly, I still don't have the medication I need. And thank you for offering to find it at another location so I can drive someplace less convenient to get it. That's absolutely what my employer would love for me to be doing during the workday. This is my favorite CVS in this location, tonight there's a gentleman there with an New York accent and cornrows who seems to be aggravated and unwelcoming with the customers. This is very unusual for this location or possibly I've missed this gentleman before. The other staff are very welcoming no matter how busy it is or jowany items they're stacking on the shelf. They simply stop and ask you of need help. Oh wait! They also share a greeting upon your arrival in the the store you chose to stop in and be a patron out of all the other options. Sad! read more

Today, 6/22/22, went in to pickup medication after placing an order a week ago online. Gave her my name to look me up in the system and was notified that there was nothing in the system, and nothing was processed. The rude young lady there took my name, DOB, and told me that it would take 24 hrs to process and sent me away. The way she handled the situation made me feel like my order was not going to be processed anytime soon. She obviously has NO people skills, NO knowledge of online orders or transfers, NO customer service, and did everything in her power to get us out of her face. So I walked away, took my time to find the confirmation number, and made the line again to speak to the someone else. Alex, the technician, was really nice and went ahead and tried to help us. However, he was unable to and asked for support from the pharmacist. She then came and was questioning them both why the issue wasn't fixed from the beginning. She again told me it would be 24hrs and that's when I put my foot down and said "no I need this ASAP today because it's been almost a week." The pharmacist apologized and said it might have been a "glitch" in the system and that she will text me today and get working on the process. I do not believe in a "glitch" in the system and should not have been given the run around for it. Especially, since I had a confirmation number and a order placed a week ago. It could have been handled from the beginning from ONE person not the whole staff. Clearly there is a lack of training at this store and I want to notify everyone of my experience so you do not have to go through this too. Someone above should help this store. Just because there is ONE BAD APPLE at CVS, it will not stop me from going to CVS. P.S. I would have put 0 stars but was not given the option to. Alex will take the 1 star. read more

Went to pick up a prescription and had a few questions for the pharmacist Uttan, not only did he act like he couldn't be bothered he was not very friendly or helpful. Fortunately Louann was there to recover because he made me feel unwelcome. I recently had to change from Walgreens and I'm sad I have to because this kinda treatment was not warranted. I've been coming to this location for years (since it bought the ekards that used to be here!) and it's been getting worse and worse to the point where I will now drive further out of my way to go to Walgreens. My husband and I visited last night to pick up a few items. We were the third in line. The lone cashier stood arguing with a woman who was trying to use coupons. A manager appeared to referee and then opened a lane to the elderly lady in front of us. He started ringing her up then walked away to go price check something. She seemed confused as he hadn't even said he would be back. He came back after a few mins and proceeded to start arguing with the customer at the first register. And I'm sorry to say that it was not a pleasant greeting the lady who greets you at and out in the prescriptions was very rude and seemed a bit annoyed , and I remember her being that way my first visit really unpleasant , she needs to work in stock where people won't annoy her. read more

This has got to be the worst pharmacy around. I don't know how many times I've had this dialogue: Pharmacy rep: "when would you like to pick your script up?" Me: "as soon as possible." Pharmacy rep: "we can text you when it's filled but we have a lot of waiting customers right now so it will likely be tomorrow." The customer service is just as bad. Maybe one or two technicians are friendly but in general it always seems like they're upset that they're working. The only thing CVS has going for them is their app, which is relatively easy to use. Go elsewhere! Stopped on the way home from the doctor's office to pick up antibiotics for my mother post surgery. The blonde pharmacist refused to give them to me since the dosage instructions were not clear . I told her he had given me the instructions but she said she couldn't give them to me and just walked off . As it was after hours at this point, I couldn't get hold of the doctor or nurse at the office. That meant no antibiotics for the night. I called again the next morning and the pharmacy had not heard back from the doctor , so the man said he'd call . I asked him to let me know ASAP. He told me to call, which I did and left two messages at the office - this was around 11 am . I never heard anything back from the pharmacy. I called them again at 1:30 and the girl said it was ready. Thanks for letting me know! They never called or texted , even though I told them it was urgent and to get back to me. So I get to the store, and they couldn't find the prescription! Three people looking before they finally found it- Thank God! Next time- Different store! Totally unhelpful- could not care less. When I looked at the reviews on here , I saw that this service level seems to be pretty standard at this pharmacy. You would think someone would be doing something about it, but I guess not. Also- no drive through , so it's one more inconvenience! read more

I walked in wondering why this place had a 2.6 rating and walked out knowing exactly why. 2.6 is an overstatement this place deserves a 1. We got to the pharmacy to pick up medication and they had closed earlier than stated on the phone. Worst customer experience ever. I went in to check out a few deals from an advertisement I saw and have an app that I accumulate points from scanning product, I assume CVS participates to drive traffic in stores. After being followed around like a criminal and hearing on the overhead for security to go to the front I decided to leave not after an employee was blocking the door to ask to see inside my purse! Are you kidding?!?! I have never been so offended in my life or ever been treated like a criminal in a place I spend my hard earned money. I made sure to call customer service in hopes that this store gets trained properly! And to the woman who was following me around, you Mrs. Need the most training and poor guy who was made to stand at the front door who apologized to me several times. Horrible customer service at the pharmacy. It already is inconvenient without a drive thru and makes this hole in wall place hard to find since there is no sign at the entrance of the plaza indicating a cvs in the plaza. The brown haired pharmacy manager always has a bad attitude and talks to everyone like she is better than everyone. The other pharmacist is nicer but yet doesn't seem to care to much about their customers as well. Avoid this place if you can. Today my visit to CVS was truly abhorrent. I hardly do reviews, however the customer service that I received during a pandemic was truly intolerable. First, and foremost I was shopping for a senior who needed an item. I knew that they were working the truck, and asked the cashier to go through the totes to look for this particular item. She told me No, because she was busy working totes in the front, and cashiering. When I kept pressing her for help, she said wait let me get Luis. She called his name four times, and there was no answer. I told her that since she was busy, I could go through the totes, and since I previously worked for CVS I would not make a mess. She did not respond verbally. After I located the item in the tote, I saw an angry male approaching me. He had on a black faded T shirt and black pants. He did not have anything on that would associate him with CVS. I was intimidated, and to tried to diffuse the situation by saying good morning. He says "I don't want anybody going through my stuff, and I don't give a crap if you used to work for CVS." I tried to explain the situation, and he continued to be rude, and uninterested. I told the unidentified worker that I would not be spending any of my money in this store. He told me "good, don't I don't need your money. "I have never been spoken to so rudely in a customer service scenario. I understand that it is a trying time. I myself am married to a front line's worker Furthermore, I am thankful to the retail sector providing services through this unprecedented time. In conclusion one "bad apple" has spoiled the tree for me, and CVS has lost a long-time customer. read more

I have to share my story. There is amazing employee here who saw me in the store, upset and worried, as I waited for a prescription. At the same time I was waiting for information from a doctor and I was terrified of the results, and I was also getting married in two days. I found out I had a cyst and had no idea what would happen to me next. The employee came up to me while I waited and asked if she could help and I ended up crying on her shoulder. I can't tell you what it meant to me at the time and how sweet she was. She made me feel so cared for and I was just a stranger. I will never forget it. She didn't have to approach me at all. But what a loving gesture. This is the type of person we need in the world! More than ever. I saw her again this evening working and am happy to say I told her I had surgery and am on the road to recovery now-no cancer. Please, if there is anything I can do to make sure her manager gets this message or someone important, I want cvs to know about this employee!!!! read more
