Bacteria galore and never again will I buy any food from Wawa. Coffee when they have it, unless you get there at 8am it's usually Luke warn instead of ho the way it's supposed to be. Come on Wawa , what happened to you?

This store is located in a "colonial style" strip mall, built probably sometime around the bicentennial. The signage is in green paint against cream background, and there's no freestanding sign or signature red color, so if you're looking for that it's easy to miss. The parking lot is small and features angle parking that favors turning from Germantown pike instead of Joshua Road. If you turn from Joshua go around behind the buildings snd loop, otherwise you're angled wrong. People also seem to frequently parallel park on Germantown Pike's shoulder. The store itself is a little cluttered. A little dingy. It's not big. NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS. So if you need a rest stop, go to another place. I picked up a large fountain drink and some pretzels. Staff were fine, nothing exceptional or horrid. Mostly because of the tricky parking and lack of public bathrooms I'll likely stop at another place. I think this one survives because it's a busy intersection and other locations are not particularly close.

Welcome to my short story. I'm not sure what all these 1-starers/"wish there were 0 stars" people…read moreare all about. I've been going to this location for 8 years now and sure there can be glitches in the matrix as is normal for anywhere we go. However overall I've gotten the help and solutions I needed. Shocking how a little time, effort and patience can change the game. If you had a bad experience you too can try, try, try again. I believe in you. No idea about the front of house but I'm not here for that. The staff have been nothing but gracious, kind, and helpful for me etc. The updated app makes it even easier to get someone to talk to. There's a literal "message the pharmacy" option on the app. State your business and they call you back within an hour. Reach out, advocate for yourself, and don't depend on someone else to do it for you. I'm a talker (obviously) to close with; politeness, understanding and a little dose of "you're a person too" goes a long way. Might sound like I'm blaming others, maybe I am? I've had medical issues for more than half my life, elder millennial here, and have had more than one disappointing Dr. Atleast there's someone there for the annoying/frustrating reason I had to go there in the first place . Ugh, meh, rereading that sounds like a GD homemade lifetime movie that people only notice to judge (understandable) and complain about it. Sorry mom for being "that" person at the moment. It will wear off. If you've gotten this far thank you for reading my TED talk. To quote the late (?) great legend OG Thumper: "if you can't say some-thin nice, don't say nothin at all" *not sure this needs to be said?? It's my first post and I may come off as a bit aggressive? I'm not getting paid or bennies for this review. However CVS, feel free to contact me. I got you boo.

I usually give people in customer service the benefit of the doubt -- this is actually the first…read morenegative review I've ever written -- but this experience was so astonishingly bad it deserves to be documented. The woman working at the pharmacy counter clearly has no grasp of basic courtesy, math, or professionalism. I went to pick up my prescription and was told it was $600. I clarified it was the non-generic version, and she snapped, "I've been doing this all week, it's $600," with the kind of tone that implies both irritation and superiority -- an impressive combination for someone who was clearly wrong. After I asked her to check again, she miraculously returned saying, "Oh, it's $100." Fascinating how prices drop fivefold when someone is forced to actually do their job. When I pointed out that the math made no sense (30 pills for $600 but 11 for $100), she gave me a nonsensical explanation that would embarrass anyone with basic reasoning skills. Then, when I went to pay with my HSA card, she instantly declared it declined -- cutting me off mid-sentence -- and couldn't be bothered to double-check anything. Her rudeness was only surpassed by her incompetence. After I told her her customer service was unacceptable, she actually said, "Maybe you just can't handle me." Ma'am, you dispense medication, not attitude. If you spent half as much energy doing your job as you do being defensive, the experience might have been tolerable. Another employee thankfully stepped in, processed everything correctly, and guess what? The card went through on the first try. Shocking, I know. This woman is a walking example of why some people should not work with the public -- especially in healthcare. I sincerely hope management addresses this, because no customer should have to deal with that level of arrogance and incompetence in a pharmacy.

Freshly sliced cucumber should be milky white and not glassy looking. Do better with your product rotations, Narb. Re the 99%: Wawa corporate, I know that the hoagies I get from your stores are never going to match a real hoagie made at an Italian deli. Example: John's Village Market in Wayne or the Holy Grail of anything I'd get at the Italian Market or in SoPhilly. That's ok. All I'm expecting is a good sandwich with fresh ingredients that's a good value. I can usually rely on just that. Not with the chicken salad (and probably not with tuna or egg salads, either). I know your model is three scoops of the salad and I know you're expecting customers are going to add lettuce, etc., but this is still a ridiculously small amount of chicken salad for a 10-in roll. This hoagie isn't worth $6. It's mostly roll and a roll costs, retail, about 69 cents. Those cucumber slices, 6 of them, cost a few cents. You can't tell me 3 small scoops of mostly mayo, celery, and scallions is a few dollars worth. No. It isn't. You need to do better.

Everything has been…read moreimproved upon including the addition of a new custom coke machine, a hand spun milkshake bar and increased breakfast options. However, the things that make this Wawa great remain. The healthy options, how convenient it is and the friendly staff. I will take this Wawa over any 7/11, gas station store or another Wawa. The Penn Valley Wawa is on the way towards downtown Narberth and Bala Cynwyd so it is usually packed during the week. However, the fantastic staff keep the lines running smoothly. Another great thing about this Wawa is the parking, which is very easy compared to other local Wawas. Food wise, this Wawa is great. Fresh takeaway items, refreshing drinks and homemade hoagies and hand spun milkshakes. The renovations have resulted in some more coffee and soda options. Hoagie wise, I feel that Wawa always does a solid job. However, I have always preferred Subway or a true Philly hoagie compared to Wawa's hoagies. However, with a new kitchen and the Bryn Mawr Subway closed this may be my new go to hoagie spot. The store is always well kept by the staff. If you come enough they will eventually get to know you by name. It gives this Wawa a mom and pop feel. This Wawa is always well stocked with utensils, condiments and garnishes. Finally, this is the only Wawa where every staff member knows how to use the Wawa app. I love the renovations and I can't wait to return!
