This Wawa is definitely on the smaller side, so of course it gets pretty busy, but overall it's still manageable and doable. Even with the traffic inside, I was still able to get in and out without too much trouble. read more

So this is why I'm done with the WaWa all together... On the evening of February 19th of 2018 I went to the location in Flourtown, PA on my way home. I had a long day and simply wanted a quick bite to eat. Instead of getting some greasy junk food, I figured why not one of those awesome hoagies from the WaWa. Hmph, was I wrong! What upset me the most was not the fact that there was way too much mayonnaise on my sandwich, or that my bacon was missing from my sandwich, but it was the sad, soggy, pathetic excuse for lettuce that was placed on my sandwich! The last thing I remember was typing in the WaWa site to leave a negative review on my smartphone, which was in my left hand, while throwing away the other half of the saddest, most disappointing sandwich I've ever had, which was in my right hand. The next day I received an email from the WaWa apologizing for my bad experience and offering me a five dollar gift card for my inconvenience. I was still upset, but at least the company was attempting to make me feel a little better by offering to replace my sandwich. Well, at least five dollars worth . Today is June 26, 2018. I still am waiting for this five dollar gift card from the WaWa to arrive... For those who think this is not true, how could this be, etc., I am including pictures of the emails back and forth from the WaWa and myself, where they ask me to send my address repeatedly so they can get me my gift card right away . I've also included some photos of my sad little hoagie, so you know I tell no lies! Who knows, maybe after I move to my new apt in a month, the letter will finally arrive to my old address and I will need to update that address once again so that I may continue to wait for that gift card. ‍‍‍ read more

We eat at WAWA frequently, but this was our first, and will be our only trip to this location. Fortunately we live in an area where there are other WAWA stores. The quesadilla veggies were not cooked, and dripping. shell was uncooked and soggy. Oil dripping into the box. A wilted not edible mess! It was supposed to have salsa, but all I could find were uncooked chunks of raw tomato. The first one had chili sauce, but the replacement had none. The replacement was worse than the original. I had one of these recently in New Jersey, and it was delicious, cooked veggies, tasty, and not runny or wilted. Mint chocolate shake was very thin and no mint flavor that was detectable. The store clerk said, "it's a milk shake, what do you expect? It is supposed to be like that." Replacement was just as bad. I have had these at other locations, and they are actually thicker and you could actually taste the mint. Hoagie roll was not fresh. Way too much lettuce, and tuna was runny and got lost in all that lettuce. We decided to "circular file" the rest of the inedible food, and head towards home. When I got home, I called the store to speak with a manager "tom" was no help, and told me he was the one who made the replacement quesadilla, and it was "perfect". Needless to say, the call went nowhere after that. So, I have never written a review on this platform before, but I decided to this time to warn people, because, soon afterwards, I got sick to my stomach and threw up the little bit that I did eat at this WAWA. read more

Finding the right Wawa is like dating...you'll probably have to hop around a bit to find the one for you, but when you do, it will have all been worth it. I'm not originally from this part of the US, and when I first heard the word "Wawa" it made me laugh hysterically. Years later, it still gives me the giggles if I'm in the right state of mind. So Wawa, thank you for being there for me when I have needed you most. Thank you for your fun touch-screen sandwich ordering kiosks, your tasty, tiny hoagies that fill me up no matter how hungry I think I am, your delightful milkshake machines, your fountain drinks and your aisles and aisles of junk food goodness. If you only carried Hostess products, I would be yours forever. And thanks for giving me an alternative to 7-11. Whenever I go to one, no matter where in the entire country I may be, I always walk out smelling a little bit funny, like cleaning products, old people and sour milk. Went to Wawa for the first time while visiting Philly and it made me wish we had them back in Atlanta. Loved the subs and the process for ordering them on the touch screen was easy to figure out for a first timer. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches were also far better than what I would've expected from a convenience store. It's worth going a little out of the way you need a quick meal over a fast food joint. read more

I live halfway between the Wawa in Glenside and this one. This is without a doubt my preferred Wawa of the 2. It is basically a typical Wawa, however this one is always well stocked, with fresh pre-made options and the staff is extremely friendly. The only thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it's just too small. Just trying to get everything the most basic Wawa carries into this location makes you claustrophobic inside of it. This also causes there to be no easy organization to check out lines which can get frustrating at busy times. The parking can also be tough, especially when Halligan's next door is packed and the shared section of the lot is taken up. read more

With the exception of 4 years while I was in school, I have lived in the Montgomery County area my whole life; and I have frequented A LOT of Wawa's. And this Flourtown Wawa (Bethlehem Pike), has by far the rudest bunch of employees I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing. Two exceptions: there is a female employee with blonde hair and glasses who I've only ever seen behind the deli & hot foods counter and she is very sweet and very polite, and there is a middle-aged guy who will talk with you while you pour your coffee who is also super nice. Aside from them, every time I have gone there (which I try very hard to avoid) there is a group of black female employees who are clearly friends and they bring the entire store from your normal run-of-the-mill Wawa, to a "I'd rather drive 10 minutes out of my way to the other Wawa" Wawa. If you dare ask them to change something about your mac n' cheese add-in, or if they can swap out an old coffee thing for a fresh one, if they can cut your stinkin' sandwich into triangles instead of rectangles (lol) you will see EXACTLY what I mean. Oh, and while you're waiting for your food, I sincerely hope you are not easily shocked, bc I can pretty much guarantee that if at least two of them are "working" together, you will overhear some of the most offensive language paired with the most obnoxiously loud laughing whether you want to or not. read more

I visit this Flourtown location sometimes on my way to work. Normally just for coffee or use the ATM. So today i decided to try some food, i purchased a 20oz coffee, and the combo soup & sandwich. Chicken chilli and chicken Parmesan sandwich. I wish i could've taken a picture of the sandwich because it was absolutely horrible, dry as hell with no sauce with a bunch of Parmesan cheese. What happened to the mozzarella cheese? I had to throw my sandwich in the trash. I usually get my Wawa food from the Roxborough location because those folks are always on point and the food is always delicious. Disappointed with this food experience so i will stick to my Roxborough location from this point on. Absolutely nasty food. read more

This Wawa has some pluses that the other Wawa's nearby don't have. The first being the public restroom. A saving grace when I find myself coming home late at night and hear nature calling. Sorry for the little TMI. The other great feature is the amount of parking spaces, being that its an older model Wawa and on a fairly busy thoroughfare. Some of the things that peeve me a bit is the difference in customer service at the deli and at the cashier. The cashiers are always friendly asking how your day is, where the deli staff seems to be lacking in the customer service department. I was there this evening and one of the staff at the deli was singing under their breath (though quite loudly) "I'm over my bulls**t job." They also failed to inform me that they were out of something that I had ordered until after I paid, then proceeding to give me and option that I clearly did not want. I settled since I didn't want to start anything, but I would have thought that they would have either alerted me earlier since I was standing in line and the store wasn't busy (calling out my number does not suffice as alerting me. Most patrons of Wawa are aware that when a deli member calls out your number when you're on line it means your order is ready. They should have walked up to cashier and told me.), or suggested to refund my money. Next time I'm going to have to wait until they make my order and then pay or go to a different Wawa. read more
