Made the mistake of switching to Raytown CVS. Pharmacy department had a tech that wants to fight you on every thing and all it does is wastes time. The pharmacist is legit. Just need to hire better techs read more

This was way outta the way for me, but was available for a Covid test on a Saturday so I was happy to make the trip out. My prior Covid test experience at the CVS in Mission earned a rare one-star, so it had to be better here, right? Right! It was certainly a bit faster than the other, having only to wait about 20 minutes past my appointment time. If you make an online appointment, you make your way to their drive-thru, put on a good podcast, mask up and then confirm your appointment with them. You'll never have to leave your car. From there, they'll guide you on how to swab each nostril for about 15 seconds, then put the swab in a vile, seal it, drop it in a metal box and then wipe it down with the provided disinfectant wipe. The test results were WAY faster than a month ago, I received them Monday morning after a Saturday afternoon test --- negative for Covid, by the way. It's a weird confluence of cold season, allergie season, and fatigue from some recent workouts so it's getting harder to tell what's what, but glad to be able to get tested with relative ease and with a quick enough turnaround time. read more

Today I made a routine stop at the CVS on 53 rd and Blue ridge. This stop was by far the worst customer service ever. The pharmacy tech that assisted me was A.J. AJ has zero customer service he does not allow the consumer to ask questions and when you do his remarks were just unethical. When trying to speak on the conversation I had with my insurance to verify coverage for a medication, AJ made the statement I guess you know everything. CVS must do better in serving our community. It's disappointing to have such horrible service. This was my farewell visit. If I could give a negative zero for a score would be to nice. read more

I went there for a headache. One that I have had for a couple of days, needing Excedrine. I only go to this store for that, or cheap mascara. That's it. I'm a Raytowner, and this store is close, and convenient, and it is the weirdest store in Raytown, (except for the Walgreen's). In my pre Yelp life, I would use this store for uncomplicated prescriptions, and they'd call me,and say, "Your prescription is ready." I'd drive to the store, and there'd be no one in there, No one. And I'd have a 45 minute wait for them to get the meds ready. "We didn't call you. so you need to wait." OR...they'd never call with the prescription, that I'd dropped off that morning. When I'd call and ask them if it's ready they said, "We never got it." I'd say, "Yes you did." and the argument would continue, until they found it. I've never been so lucky as to be presented with a pick up line, as Sara D. was. I must've gone to the store at the wrong time. This store is weird. I love the make up aisle, hate the overhead music, and it smells funny. Not worth going there for Maybelline, but I do look at the make up when I am shopping for other things. It can't be avoided. The front staff is fine. Being that, she under charged me today, for generic Excedrine by $2.00. And there's hardly ever a line. I actually avoid this store at all costs. But it's great for when you need what I needed today. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Drugstores Near Me - RAYTOWN, Missouri

I go to this CVS because it's so very close to home. They have a large selection of make up and candy. I enjoy browsing through their holiday isles. The cashiers up front are pleasant. It's the pharmacy employees that bother me. I either get uncomfortably hit on ("So, what are you doing tonight... Do you have a boyfriend?") or glared at like I'm bothering them with my presence. When I go to CVS to pick up a perscription I will look at who is in the pharmacy and if it's a certain 2 people (names will be left out for now), I will walk right back out the door and come back at another time. This location is convenant, but it's frustrating to time my visits around pharmacy employee's schedules. read more

Signed up through their app to take a COVID test the evening before my test. I showed up on time for my test and there was a service man with a ladder in the drive thru. He (not a CVS employee) hollered at me that the drive thru was closed (I was in my car). I told him that I had a COVID test scheduled for this time and would call the store. To get through the Automated system and talk to some one was a long process. Five minutes after my appointment was supposed to begin, someone from CVS called to let me know they couldn't see me because someone was working on their drive thru and they didn't know what time he would be done. She told me to cancel my appointment and to look for another. read more

No wonder this location currently has 1.5 stars. The level of customer service at their pharmacy was extremely unprofessional! I called in to get my scripts transferred to this location and the pharmacy techs were just flat out rude, incompetent and impatient. Welp, they won't be getting my business. Which is a shame, I've used CVS for my pharmacy needs at least 10 years. Do yourself a favor and get your scripts elsewhere. There are plenty of options in the area. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever had the displeasure to use. My doctor forwarded the prescription via fax. When I arrived 24 hours latter to pick it up, I was told that since they didn't know me, they didn't fill the prescription. It then took 2 hours to fill something that should of been waiting for me to pick up. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER will I use this pharmacy. read more

The actual CVS would get 4 stars, but the Pharmacy should get 0. I was shorted 30 pills that were a controlled substance. When I called they said they don't inventory...HOW IS IT CONTROLLED THEN!!! So I called the headquarters and they put in an investigation and said they would call me at the end of week... 3 weeks later I get a call saying they are starting the investigation. I said I didn't care to hear the results cause I transfered all my prescriptions to Walgreens and will ever use CVS Pharmacy again neither will my family. read more
