This is my pharmacy and I've always had good interactions with the staff. There is sometimes a wait, but I do know that the volume of customers/ short staffing can play a role in that. I really enjoy using the drive thru, it's easy and convenient. The pharmacists and staff are always really helpful and answer any questions I have. I haven't made a ton of purchases inside, when I have I do notice a shortage of some products. CVS does have a good rewards program and offer some pretty legit coupons. I love their 40% off 1 item ones that come through my email and in my account. I often use these on makeup products, and I've also used it on a humidifier which saved me a decent amount of money! read more

I apologized even though it's not my fault (people pleaser here) for a prescription mess up and she just said "okay bye". Over the phone that was rude but when I actually went to go pick up my prescription everyone was really friendly so maybe I just got a bad egg. read more

Called the store to get information on a,script that was supposed to be sent from my doctor's office. Cvs had not re eived it. I asked if they could call my Dr and find out why it had not been sent over and the girl I talked to said No I would have to call and get the scrip sent myself. I'm sorry isn't that the pharmacy job? The girl at cvs was not helpfull at all and didn't offer any advice except ",,you have to call them" next time I'll go into the store so I can give her my Scare stare and let her know I don't tolerate dismissive behavior. read more

Worse service ever. I had a medication for my dog needing signature, I was not home and they redirected the package to this CVS (not my choice) I tracked on UPS and received notice it delivered at 1145. I called the store to confirm. I was informed by Debbie it was there. I arrived at the store around 3 pm at which time I was advised by both male employees the package was not there. I was now in panic mode as the meds were needed for my dog with congestive heart failure. I had them check three times and still nothing. I went to my car and called UPS at which time one male employee came out and advised they DO have the package and it was placed in the UPS outbound??? When I asked who the store manager was they advised they did not have one!! This needs to be addressed. In the meantime I will find another way of receiving his meds read more

This is a busy pharmacy so sometimes you have to wait quite a while, but they are unfailing helpful and cheerful. They always greet you when you walk in and if there's a long wait, they apologize, but they're working hard to get to their customers as quickly as possible. read more

Nice, friendly staff. They are a tad pricey and don't seem to have as much of the non-essential stuff that Walgreen's has. Also. moving across the street from many of the established Walgreen's in town is a bit shady. But, if you watch the sales, and scan your awards card, you can get some good deals. read more

It's clean, better behaved staff then the alternative, it is bright and very inviting, BUT, oh my gosh, they are so fricking expensive! Whether its cough drops or tissue its always a buck or two or more then I usually pay. I have been running in here since they opened, every now and then, hoping they lowered some of their prices but no cigar. What a disaster. This location totally needs to get it together. I brought a prescription to this CVS location on a Friday afternoon and was told it was not filled out correctly and they would have to contact my doctor. Cool, no big deal. I told them that my doctor runs an Urgent Care and is available on weekends. I come Monday to pick up my prescription and to my surprise - it isn't filled yet. In fact, they hadn't even called my doctors office (I called to check) and the pharmacy tech said it 'wasn't her responsibility' to make sure they make calls on weekends. Big mistake. I called CVS corporate and they apologized and said the pharmacy manager would be in touch with me. He never called. So, essentially I went 4 days without a prescription being filled without them contacting me OR my doctor and showing no remorse with no follow up. Huge bummer since I had actually switched pharmacies because I thought CVS had better customer service. I have since taken my business elsewhere. This store is generally pretty clean with a well lit parking lot. I have had customer service issues with them in the past (their check-out staff is either REALLY good or REALLY bad). I won't write off CVS completely but with Walgreens right across the street you would think they would try to surpass them in service - they don't even come close. I had a knee replacement and from the very beginning they (CVS) treated me like dirt, judging me because I had to have pain pills, REALLY? Since CVS opened, I've had some medical issues that require a goodly number of prescriptions. I've completely changed my opinion. While the regular up front staff sometimes seem bored and unwilling to bother with a customer (not often) the pharmacists are excellent. They really take the time to help you work through your questions and make sure there are no drug interactions. I usually go at night when it's less busy, and I've never been made to feel like I was wasting anyone's time. The night pharmacists are especially great, even with the phone ringing off the hook. I've noticed fewer pharmacy techs, but the ones that are there are more knowledgeable. I really appreciate the changes made at this CVS. It seems like they've worked hard to retrain staff or pare down to the good core employees. read more

Thanks to Tricia's insurance and drug plan, I kind of have to use CVS to get the best prices. And I'm not complaining. CVS is far and away better than Walgreens, in my opinion. The place is much cleaner, the employees are more attentive, and I don't seem to have the problems I used to have with Walgreens in getting prescriptions filled (the one closest to my house was always out of stock.) And when I drive through, they give my dog a bone. Win all around. read more

I went in to pick up my scripts yesterday evening. The pharmacy area was completely empty and there were three people behind the counter: one girl back by the stacks on the phone, the main pharmacist who was conferring with a customer at the drive-thru window, and an overly-coiffed douchebag in his early 20s wearing civilian clothes and too much cologne (I can only guess he was the source of the cologne), with his back to the department, sitting at a terminal but checking his phone every 10 seconds while pounding Red Bulls. The girl on the phone was aware of me, but she was otherwise busy. The dip$hit texting on Red Bulls was oblivious to the fact that the pharmacy might have customers and never turned around to see whether anyone was waiting, and the pharmacist was also otherwise occupied with the drive-thru customer. Eventually, the pharmacist finished his conversation at the window and the douchebag said, "I hate when customers make eye contact with me," and the pharmacist joked, "That's why I put you in a corner, so people don't think you're working." So professional. I had been standing there for 5 minutes watching all of this. Finally, the pharmacist noticed me and came over and asked what I needed. He looked in the system and said there was nothing there and "What were you expecting, Andrea?" Right there: a professional does NOT call an unknown customer by their first name. It's condescending. I told him I should have three prescriptions waiting and they had probably gone back into the system because I'd forgotten to come get them. They had been phoned in nearly two weeks prior by my doctor. He checked again and immediately blurted out loudly, "The [med] can't be filled because it's too soon." I said, "I've been getting prescriptions here for years and they are always a 90-day supply, and this has never happened." He goes on to talk about how it doesn't matter how long the supply is--it's too soon to fill, blah blah blah, he can fill the other two. I said, "That's fine, but I still don't understand why the other one can't be." He goes on to say, "It's a controlled substance, and we can't fill those too early." I say, "It was called in two weeks ago," and he says, "Well, it might not be too early anymore." Meanwhile, there is another customer being served, and she can hear this entire conversation because the pharmacist seems to think calling out other customers' medications by name and inferring that I'm addicted to [med] is appropriate. I tell him, "I don't care about the [med]. I have a ton of it at home and don't need it. I just don't understand why you can't fill it." Perhaps this makes me sound desperate for it, but I'm not. I have a ton of it because I hardly ever take it--I just wanted an explanation that made sense. So he filled the two, and the third one will be filled whenever. HOWEVER, when I was checking out, he asked if everything was OK. More condescension. I said, "Yeah, everything is fine. I just don't think you should make your customers feel like drug addicts." He said "That wasn't my intention." YEAH, OK. I was dirty and disheveled because I had come straight from a rescue barn I volunteer at, so he probably thought I was homeless and desperate for my fix. Complete ahole. I will be complaining all over creation about this. If my company didn't have a contract with CVS, I would never go to one again. You can bet I will never go to that one again. What stupid employees. Still waiting for a 90 day prescription, that was forgotten in my order, They can't coordinate all your prescriptions to be filled on the same date. Thus making you have to come back seven or eight times a month to get your prescriptions this place is a f****** joke, the big-time pharmacist sit on their ass doing nothing while the workers unskilled try to fend for it what they know which is nothing. I bought a $10 hollow chocolate rabbit and to my surprise it melted in a car on an not-very-hot day. They exchanged it no problem. Plus, even though it was the last day before Easter and they were out of regular m&ms their Easter candy selection was better than Walgreen's. I found panned marshmallow eggs and bulk non-Starburst, non-Jelly Belly jelly beans $2 in a big 20 0z bag. The store seems well laid out and bright and clean. I'm ready to switch. The only problem is there is no left onto Gravois westbound so you have to go out on Germania and quickly get in the left hand lane. read more

This Pharmacy is SO SLOW. Every time. The drive thru should be quick and it takes forever! It shouldn't take me 10 minutes to drop off a prescription. And they don't guarantee that they will have my medication. One time they gave me the wrong medication, I had to bring it back and some were taken and it was a huge ordeal. I was at Walgreens across the street and I'm going back. I can't deal with this anymore. read more

Went to pick up my daughter's prescriptions, as she was not feeling well. Her doctor just called the prescriptions in about 30 minutes prior to us arriving at CVS, I went to the counter and let them know that we were there for a prescription that was just called in, but I was prepared to wait 30 minutes or so so I started to wander around the store but they had the prescription finished in about five minutes after my arrival, they looked super busy behind the counter but they still asked us if we had any questions for the pharmacist. I asked to talk with the pharmacist. He was very friendly and made a few suggestions on how to keep my daughter comfortable until the medicine kicks in. Great location, plenty of parking, friendly staff and the store is packed with a lot of useful items such as humidifiers , higher quality hair products such as "it's a 10" and of course practically any kind of over the counter health medicine anyone could possibly need and Reese's peanut butter cups. Unfortunately our new insurance only covers cvs because I'd rather continue using Sam's Club. Doctor sent over a prescription this morning and I verified it on the SSM app but as usual with the incompetence of the morons at CVS they claim to have no record of it. So I had to submit a refill through the cvs app to have the old dosage refilled and now sit here for two hours waiting for it since the soonest they can take the time to do it is 9pm. Meantime my head pounds as I continue losing a grip on sanity which I need this medicine for. I'm sure by 9pm I'll be ready to say some things that wouldn't be considered politically correct to them. I pick up prescriptions for my wife at this location and everyone is always helpful and the pharmacist is very knowledgeable and friendly.

i'm pretty sad about having to give this pharmacy only 2 stars, but last night's craziness in the pharmacy could have been averted by better staff management. i'm so disappointed because i have been here before and had 5-star service; but last night's experience took it's star rating down several notches. there must have been 8 personnel in the pharmacy (a combination of PharmDs and pharmacy technicians), but unfortunately the 'overstaffed' pharmacy (i've seen metropolitan pharmacies with only a handful of people) didn't translate to faster and efficient customer service. when i dropped of my prescriptions off, the pharmacy lady told me it would be 20-25 minutes, since i would wait for the medications. unfortunately, this CVS doesn't have an overhead page their waiting customers that their medications are ready. i gave them 30 minutes before going to the pick-up line and asking for my medications. the other pharmacy tech told me that 2 of them were still being checked-out and that they weren't ready. so i waited...and waited...and waited. i sat next to the pick-up station to make sure i didn't miss them calling out my name (yup. they call out your last name if it's done). after 30 minutes and not hearing my name called, i went in-line again at the pick-up area and inquired about my medications. apparently my prescriptions were ready but no one bothered to let me know while i sat there or call out my name. as i waited, i saw about tens or so of people line up to pick-up their medications and many of them had to wait even longer since their medications weren't ready. ADVICE: don't come in to pick-up your medications around the 5-6pm time period, since the staff appears to be overwhelmed and the pharmacy pick-lines are so slow. and i'd suggest to the pharmacy management to try overhead paging customers who are waiting for their medications. these customers may be looking around and shopping in the store. it doesn't help that there are only 3 seats at the pick-up area. paging waiting customers is done in other CVS pharmacies do it, why not this one? read more

I have a summer cold. I'm up in the middle of the night because I can't breath. Thank you meth heads and CVS for preventing me to buy Mucinex D at 4:00 in the morning. It's not a law because the competition across the street doesn't have the same rule, but they are out of stock. It's the summer. Who gets a cold in the summer? A dad with two kids in daycare.
