This review is for the CVS Minute Clinic. Recently went there for a Travel Clinic consultation and vaccines. 6-stars for the nurse we met. Sooooooo professional and attentive. 0-star for the scheduling / appointmens... The system allows users to double-book a given timeslot! So, two people at 10:00, two people at 10:15, etc.... The nurse ends up finishing work at 8:00 instead of 6:00 to clear the backlogs! This is frustrating for everyone.... customers and employees.... This is not how a health clinic should run. Will I go back? Maybe. Good idea on paper --- cheaper alternative to seeing your PCP. But be prepared to wait a long long time...... read more

This is now my regular pharmacy, as I have left Rite Aid down the street. This place is clean, new, has a huge inventory selection, and the pharmacy is quick and staff polite. The saving card program is good too. You get coupons via email and your can send them to your card. No minute clinic here- there is one at the CVS on South Broadway near the state line. The BEST in the area. Stay away from Dracut, MA. Without going into a long winded thing here which I guarantee none of you particularly care about, let me just state that this location makes up for the incompetence you may have experienced at other CVS pharmacies. Something as simple as transferring a script from one store to another proved to be just beyond the capability of the pharmacists in Dracut (Megan) and after driving all the way to another location, Mr. Patel in this Salem store understood immediately my circumstance, pressed the original store for information, got the problem fixed and expedited my order all while I was at the drive through window. I was nervous waiting for a new script to be finally transferred and filled would take 45 min. Mr. Patel took the kind of care of me this company advertises. Kudos. read more

It's a CVS, how bad could it be. Well. Let me tell you They pretty much ruined Easter. The Reese's eggs they have out are from last Easter. Expiration date is in just a few months. The chocolate is too soft, it's discolored. Peanut butter is dried out. My friend jelli and I will never buy a Reese's egg here again. Get your stuff together CVS. Unreal. read more

Everyone is very friendly at this store. We only had one time where the employee behind the register wasn't very good- I think he must have just been having a bad day... The Pharmacist, Arvind is the best. The pharmacy is my favorite one to go to. It's a typical CVS, but its new, so it's clean and quiet. If you live nearby, its very convenient. I use this CVS for regular refills of medications for myself and my husband, as well as for the unplanned prescriptions here and there. We also pick up the necessary health & beauty items there when I have "Extra Bucks" to use and the item is on sale! I find the pharmacy staff to be very helpful, most often going out of their way to solve any issue that may come up. Overall, I am very pleased with this CVS, I hope this continues as in years past, we have had some pretty bad experiences with other CVS stores that steered us to other pharmacy brands. Walked into the Hampstead Rd Salem NH CVS Pharmacy on Nov 3, 2021 7:05PM. Headed over to the Pharmacy desk to simply ask a question regarding the process for getting the Vaccine booster. Before I could get there and open my mouth to just ask a question, the two girls behind the counter firmly and quite rudely announced "WE ARE CLOSED!!!" and proceeded to just the gate. I said all I wanted to do was ask a question about the booster shot process. One proceeded to disrespectfully, from behind the racks, mumble something about online....which I couldn't hear or understand. And off they went!! Been going to that location for 10+ years. Usually a courteous crew. But the new staff they currently have will probably have me move my and my wife's MULTIPLE meds elsewhere. Terribly rude and disrespectful. One of the other non-pharmacy workers overheard it and she said its no t the first time these two have been rude and disrespectful to customers!!! She apologized for their behavior. read more

The pharmacist Eli was very helpful in the transfer of my husband's medication from Rite-Aid to this CVS. Since then I have had bad service from two other pharmacists, that work there. One making me feel like he was doing me a favor for filling our medicine scripts and talking so fast like he didn't want to be bothered for doing his job, and the other one was a floating woman pharmacist that would not accept a power of attorney document that I showed her, so I could pick up a list of my husbands medicines so he could take the list to the veterans doctor with him the next day. This was a legal document that my husband and I had drawn up by an attorney for each other...very annoying and very unnecessary, inconvenience. read more

What was I thinking? Seriously I could have saved myself $79.00 today but noooo, I thought let me take my son to the Minute Clinic to get a tick out since it was too deep in his skin. The "nurse" there needs to go back to school. most of the time (total time less than 10 minutes was spent "looking at the skin" before she went at it with tweezers. I asked, is there some topical anesthetic you could put on before you start? "oh yes, but I don't have that here". 2nd question: we tried regular tweezers, is there another type of instrument you could use"? "yes, but i don't have it here" WOW really, then what the hell do you have? also, after the usual questions, i asked my son to show her his arm where the tick was, her response was "no.. wait! i cant see it yet! I have to take your blood pressure and temp". seriously? what would have happened if you saw it first, THEN took his blood pressure...god forbid. anyway, all she did was pick at it, said : I think i got most of it. WOWW waste of time and money. never again. her bedside manner was non-existent. she looked bored to death and most of the time gave a blank stare before she began the "procedure". you would have though this was the first time ever in her life she saw a tick.. or remains of one. i also said: should you use a magnifying glass? no. WOW. next time i will choose youtube. theres no choice for less than 1 star so i had to choose 1. save your money. read more
