I go one day later! there are not people waiting in line !! in fact I am the only person !! and the staff tells me! "That will be with me at a moment" I'm waiting for 25 minutes! and when I am finally in front of the employee "he tells me that my medication is not ready and that I have to wait 30 more minutes !! !!!! read more

Honestly very slow and u professional customer service, especially the pharmacy lady said 15 mins and then it took more than that and this lady Vivian is very slow plus when someone needs an extra help outside her desk which is nice if her but that would make u wait an extra time which can be very frustrating! read more

Ehhhhh. Truly, not the most well kept CVS. Could use a major face list and more than one person working the ENTIRE front end of the store. I took like 15 minutes to get razors because she had to clear the line, close the line, and then come help me. But while I was waiting, more and more people kept coming up! Worst experience at a CVS by far! My photos where the one hour photos, thinking they would be done for sure because I put the order in yesterday Friday. The confirmation said they will be done Friday at 3pm, thinking well I'll pick them up tomorrow Saturday after my errands. The parking is the worst thing you can imagine, I rather park in SF. Then finding a spot I got out and went straight to the photo area I asked a girl cashier if she knew if anyone can help me. Well she said she could but she didn't know anything about the photo department. She told me she had to use the photo machines concerned I asked why? Since they should have been developed and stuck under the cabinet in a envelope (common sense). She asked how many and I'm just fed up because she doesn't know anything about the order nor how many pictures and didn't find any developed pictures? So she told me well you can wait 15-25 mins I'm like my confirmation said Friday they should have been done it's Saturday now so why do I have to wait? Because CVS never surprises me with there lack of knowledge of people running their stores. So I told her no I don't have time for that I'll be stopping by Monday because I want to enjoy what I have left of my day off. So I'm grouching as we do and saying that CVS always f*ck up some how. I don't understand why this place has such low reviews. I guess people only go online when they have something bad to say. Typically I don't expect much when walking into a CVS stores but my experience here yesterday was excellent. After leaving Safeway a couple stores down and refusing to pay 10 dollars for some bbq tongs, I decided to try my luck here. As soon as i walked through the door, one of the very kind staff members greeted me and asked if he could assist me in finding anything. I asked if he could assist pointing me in the direction of where they keep the tongs and he kindly told me to check isle 10, then apologized if he was wrong and nervously told us that he was a new hire but he would run over to his manager to clarify, which was a kind gesture. He turned out to be right and when we were walking to check out we saw that he really did ask his manager which was above and beyond our expectations. This gentleman was also working the register and he was very pleasant. Even though our time at this location was brief, we had a very good experience here. read more

The WORST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. They are looking to see if they can have you declared incompetent. Watchout. I have never done a thing but order my prescriptions electronically and politely pick them up and pay. Charged me for three month supplies and would only provide one month. Did this three times. What is wrong with the people in the East Bay ? Three times messed up my drugs, didn't have them ready asked me to come back and wait and then back hours later after servicing able bodied people first. They had the drug there I over heard someone else getting his prescription of it. Over charged me by hundreds of dollars on one drug. Charged my credit card three times without my consent, while I wasn't there. Gave my son and I a drug containing something we are allergic to. Listed the wrong doctor as my cardiologist, refused to fix three times. read more

This was the most raggedy CVS I've ever been to and I should've steered clear after walking in and seeing about 2 customers in the entire store. I was looking picking up a photo product that was gifted to me as a birthday present. Not only did the woman make me feel like an inconvenience, but she was huffing and puffing in my face and saying "I need to find a freaking photo" IN FRONT of the only other customers there. Slamming things, laughing in my face because I didn't know the specific thing I was picking up... hence why I said I'm picking up a GIFT. She then paged a woman to come help who showed up in a tank top and shorts...... I was confused: was I speaking to an associate or a customer. I went here to pick up a prescription. At the drop-off desk the woman told me that my prescription had been called in by the doc and that the order was "almost ready" and I'd be called when it was ready. After 15 minutes, I went to pick-up thinking I must have missed the call. The woman there said that it was "almost ready" and that she'd call. After another 15 minutes, I needed to leave the store to get to an appointment. So I spent half an hour in a store (while sick, no less) and never got what I needed. It's pretty clear that the employees have been trained to say "almost ready" regardless of the status of the order, presumably so people stay in the store and shop while waiting. But ultimately, they will lose customers with this policy. I would have been much happier if they had said, "we'll have your prescription ready in an hour, can you come back?" The only positive thing I have to say is that the woman at pickup was, to her credit, apologetic (which is why I give 2 stars rather than 1). I think she herself knew that it is ridiculous to tell customers something is almost ready when it clearly isn't. I did not receive a call from the pharmacy stating that the prescription was ready until 3 hours after I had visited. I had gone to the old location in the past and hadn't had such issues, so I am willing to try one more time and see if there is any improvement. But if there is not, I will be taking my business elsewhere. The new store looks nice, but accurate information about timing for prescription pick-up is NOT optional. read more

This rating is on CVS curbside service and not specific to this store although the order was placed for this store. CVS corporate was running a promotion to get folks to try their new service. The initial order was placed on Friday and was supposed to be ready within an hour. Although I never received the text that my order was ready for pick up the money did come out of my bank account. So I went to the store and they said their curbside service was down and although I could provide what the order was and that it was paid for they wouldn't give me my order. So I went home and called their customer service and cancelled the order. When I asked if they could confirm that the service was working at this store, they put me on hold for several minutes and then confirmed that it was indeed working. So I placed the order a second time but this time I did receive the confirmation text and email that the order was READY! Unfortunately I didn't receive those until 9pm at which time the store was closed. When I got up the next morning, I drove to this location which was further away from my home than the original store I placed the order at, When I arrived I sent the text that I was there and received a text that a CVS associate would be out soon. After 5 minutes I called the store to make sure that I was at the correct CVS store. After 10 minutes I went into the store and they said their curbside service was down and although I could provide what the order was and that it was paid for they wouldn't give me my order either. So once again I was forced to go home to cancel the order. CURBSIDE SERVICE IS AN EPIC FAIL AND A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME. The stores know nothing about the order even when it says it's ready for pick up. DON'T TRY IT! read more

We've been coming to this store for years before they moved to the new location. The new location is much better looking and during the Holidays we spent a lot of money on their large gift selections. Unfortunately one of the gifts was defective so we returned it to the store in accordance with the return policy time period. The first cashier (African American lady) told us we could not return/exchange without the original credit card and walked away. There is nothing on the receipt that states that. The second cashier (different African American lady) told us the same thing and was extremely rude about it and walked away. I have never heard of a chain store refusing to exchange with a receipt. Luckily the 3rd cashier (Caucasian lady) felt bad that the other two cashiers were so mean to us she let us exchange our defective return for other merchandise which "was" allowed within their return policy. She was very apologetic about their behavior and for their refusal to help us and walking away from us abruptly. I seriously think the first two cashiers were racist and refused to help us because we did not look like them. We are Hispanic by the way. We've never been treated with such disrespect and I hope management disciplines them for refusing to help customers and being racist/prejudice against people that don't look like them. read more

This would review is actually minus 5 star, I purchased a Vanilla $50.00 VISA gift card. when it was used, it was denied. Now the runaround and rude big corporate bullying begins by cvs and it's propaganda minister nate. When I returned the next day, I simply asked for a refund, the card doesn't work. nate said no I won't do that, we are not responsible for gift cards that we sell. I asked nate to see the manager, he said I'm the manager. I then asked him where does it say, or where is it posted that cvs is not responsible for gift cards. I'm done with you get out or I'll call the police. Not wanting any trouble I left. Is this is what the city of San Leandro's taxpayer's bargained for as we provided the infrastructure for cvs ? And now we have this traffic nightmare. You can't get in, you can't get out. And absolutely no regard for their customers. Our streets are littered with cvs bags and debris. I am not done with this issue, I've only started and I will take this until I am compensated for this trouble. This is a classic example of these big drug retailers literally taking over a city block, and forcing the small locally owned drug stores and businesses out. came in Tuesday afternoon with my 11yr old daughter who needed a school board/poster. After asking the cashier (Jessica) for help on a price. She responded very rudely to my daughter walked away kicked a shopping basket into the middle while complaining about not being able to scan stuff for us just because we needed a price. I told her we were purchasing the item and i needed the price so i needed her to go get it. She immediately started cursing in front of my daughter and complaining about helping us and how we could scan the stuff our self for a price check. I told her it wasn't professional at all to curse in front of children or customers at all. She did not stop got really loud, other customer notice what was going on. I asked for a manager and mean while jessica kept cursing and talking back very loudly. The manager (peter) didnt seem to know how to resolve the situation but to ring me up and apologies for her while Jessica kept interrupting while speaking to the manager. read more
