Her tone is consistently rude and dismissive, she interrupts people mid-sentence, and she talks down to customers in a way that feels intentional. The other day I watched her belittle a young woman, and it was genuinely upsetting. It wasn't a stressful moment or a misunderstanding. It was mean, unnecessary, and deeply unprofessional. While this doesn't apply to every employee, there are enough staff members who appear disengaged that it impacts the entire environment and it clearly starts with the manager. The staff gives inconsistent information, they lack urgency, and spend more time talking to each other or idling than assisting customers. It creates an overall impression of a team that is not aligned or fully invested. This wasn't a busy day or a short-staffed situation. It feels like a culture problem that's become more obvious over time. If anyone from Kroger's corporate or district team saw what customers experience here, I can't imagine they'd consider it acceptable.

I spoke to a pharmacist on the phone, and I kid you not, she had no idea what she was doing. She pulled up the wrong prescription for me and went through this spiel of confusing information, only to realize she was talking about the wrong one and put me on hold for a while to get the right one. Six months ago I came here and paid around $160 out of pocket for the same medication. The pharmacist finally told me I'd be paying $160. I said okay. She continues to do some more typing and then comes back to tell me the total is $500. I asked about the $160 number, and she said "I never said $160. I never said that number." I would've thought I was going crazy if my mom hadn't been listening and told me she couldn't believe how the pharmacist threw that number out there only to either 1. forget or 2. lie about it to cover up some other mistake. I moved that prescription back to Walgreens ASAP. HOWEVER, the regular store staff are absolutely wonderful. They never fail to say hello whenever I walk in and make amazing conversation.
