I went to this minute clinic when all I wanted was a urinalysis for a UTI. Jess the nurse practitioner refused me of care and wouldn't let me talk on top of talking down to me as if I was stupid and inaccurate when I have had chronic utis all my life. The worst experience ever with a nurse practitioner and left me feeling frustrated and knowing I will NEVER return. Get help and work on communication skills. read more

I switched my prescriptions from Walgreens to CVS and when my medication was filled the brand was one I was unable to tolerate. I called the pharmacy to have the brand switched and was told the pharmacist would order the correct brand and submit an override to my insurance company. I was also told the prescription was ready. I pulled up to the window and was told my insurance company denied it and it would be $85.00. I said that I was told that the pharmacist said she would contact insurance and do an override. The pharmacy tech came back and said it will be $35.00. I will be switching back to Walgreens read more

Just picked up my prescriptions from the CVS Pharmacy on Wilmington Island (Johnny Mercer) and cannot say enough kind words about the pharmacist, Dr. Paul Cubina, (please forgive me if the spelling of your last name is wrong!) who helped me :-) He greeted me with a huge "smile" behind his mask, and ended up going the extra mile by questioning the amount of 1 prescription, and ultimately saving me a good bit of money! I have been using CVS Pharmacy for the past 5 years in West Virginia, New Jersey, and Georgia. All great, clean experiences and they always do a great job finding the correct discount program for both of my medications. I recently moved to Wilmington Island, GA and this location is very much lacking from the accuracy, cleanliness, and organization that I have seen elsewhere. I have spent over 20 minutes on hold trying to speak to someone in the pharmacy, have never gotten them to answer the phone. Due to this I have still chosen to drive to the CVS in the Savannah Mall, except for yesterday when they did not have my medication in stock. Stopped in to see if they had it in stock at Wilmington Island and they said they did and quoted me my normal price. It was not actually in stock and I ended up being so ill from withdrawals and missing work the next day. When I received the text that it was ready, I came to pick up via drive thru and was asked to pay more than double what was quoted. I refused, and the pharmacist made me come inside to re-do it. Was there for 45 minutes (around 6:15p) and joined a line of 5 others, which grew to 9 at the highest. The employees behind the counter were nice, but the pharmacist seemed to need consistent help from those under her and had a harsh tone toward everyone. Time to step it up CVS, I know you can be better than this! read more

I want to preface this with I understand the need for lunch breaks. But I went to he minute clinic today because my tonsil is swollen and I have a horrid raw itchy spot behind my knee. I am dying a little from the scratching and from struggling to swallow past the swollen tonsil. As I was checking myself in at the kiosk I noticed they had a notice that the PA was on lunch and would be back in thirty minutes. I continued checking myself in because I needed the visit and I could wait thirty minutes. Then the PA comes out of one of the rooms and snaps off at me that it will be an hour. I pointed out the notice said thirty and she snapped off that she was just now leaving for her lunch break and went into the other exam room and snapped the door closed. Like I said, I know lunch breaks are needed. I get it. And what she said was correct. The way she said it was freaking rude. And she could have at least said something along the lines of sorry, I am just leaving for lunch can you come back in an hour. To which I would have replied no problem. I'll just go to the grocery store first instead of after. I work in the healthcare field. Being polite goes a long freaking way when someone doesn't feel well. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible experience - will never use this pharmacy again! They made a mistake on a prescription and put one pack instead of 3 in the bag and charged my insurance for all 3. When we realized what had happened, they were unbelievably rude, and did not fix the problem but instead lied that I was mistaken about receiving only one. Cost me much time and money to fix their mistake, yet never received so much as an apology. Stay far far away!! read more

Maybe I Just hit a bad day but I was on hold for 30 minutes just to ask 1 question and get advice and was hung up on. The guy I talked to when I first got through basically said i couldn't return the medication (which is fine I just wanted to advice and signs to look for if my body didn't take to that brand. Asked to speak to the pharmacist and NEVER got to talk with pharmacist) They just don't seem to care about their patients. I tried calling back a few times but never made it through anyone (Another 20 minutes of waiting) It was just an overall terrible experience. Even when picking up the prescription there was no smiles or anything. Just not people friendly. I feel like people with hypothyroidism should be counseled about the different brands of the same medication, especially when it's changed. I wound up calling another local pharmacy to get the advice and transferred my prescriptions. read more

The nurse who assisted me today was fabulous. She was professional, knowledgable and the wait was not long. She made being in pain little less painful with her wonderful personality.The ear drops she prescribed were ready at the pharmacy within minutes. I was in and out in less then an hour. It was well worth the drive from Tybee to this location. read more
