The store is named after Harvey Edward Wuest, whose first store opened in the mid-20th century. The first thing that struck us about this convenience store was the cleanliness and spaciousness of the store. All areas of the convenience store had large placards helpful for zeroing in on what was in that specific area of the store. The store was extremely well-lit, making it super easy to find whatever you needed. To our surprise, we found Topo Chico Sabores Raspberry with Lemon Flavored Sparkling Water in a can, which we not tasted before...quite delicious. Our convenience store attendant was Texas friendly and offered a cup of ice with our water purchase. We gased up and headed home. It was a pleasant, quick stop.

If it was one staff member I'd write it off as a quirk, but the tattooed lady is just flat out rude. There is just a dirty vibe to the place in my mind now and I won't be able to go there. If they are willing to act like this to my face you can guarantee the bathrooms and facilities are given the minimum standards and probably not even that. I won't give them any business not until staff keeps it to themselves, they don't have to act happy, smile or make small talk, but they do have to avoid judgemental attitudes, visible dramatic displays of frustration over minor "inconveniences" or just find other work that doesn't Involve customer service. I will encourage others to not give them business either.
