I recently filled a prescription for my dog at CVS Pharmacy. I went back to refill the prescription and have been trying to call them for two days to find out if my dog's prescription has been filled. I am unable to get an answer. I just get a recording. I called the front desk twice to see if they could help and they told me that they can't transfer me. I replied, "Can't you walk over to the pharmacy?" and they said that they could not. They said that I would have to call yet again and leave a message. There is no "option" to leave a message. Wow, they are just so helpful at that store. Thanks for nothing. read more

This CVS is the worst Pharmacy I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. If it wasn't for insurance I would switch to another Pharmacy. The staff are Rude, Unaccommodating, unfriendly and lack compassion. The whole system is not user friendly. How hard is it to stagger the lunch so the whole pharmacy shuts down for a half hour lunch. How hard is it for the employee who is getting your meds help you?? No they send you over to stand in another line. That guy looks like he's on another planet. Terrible experience the pharmacist here is insulting. My wife has degenerative disk disease and is going in for a spinal stimulator surgery that will allow her to become less dependent on pain management medication. Even after speaking to her doctor and being informed that my wife has decreased her amount of medication the pharmacist refuses to fill the additional meds only 15 count to help with additional pain from surgery. This would have been the end of it then I get a text saying the narcan prescription issued by CVS in Seymour was ready for pickup. seriously what an insult and slap in the face I will never go here again or any other CVS I advise everyone to stop utilizing this business if this is what they allow to happen! read more

This may be the worst customer service I have ever received. I was told by the pharmacist that my prescription is not ready but they would send my script to Florida because I am going on vacation. The next day this woman on the phone tells me that is incorrect (after I am now in Florida without medication) and it is my fault the pharmacist incorrectly informed me even though I told her the situation in detail and what I am prescribed. She was very rude to me and now they refuse to even send it to the CVS in Newtown?!?!?! Hung up on me. Go anywhere else's!!!!! read more

What a treat that I have the privilege to review this CVS first. Let me just say, Brian is the best employee you have, and I always have a pleasant experience with him. Now, the pharmacy. I'm not sure what standard you guys set your employees attitudes to, but it's clearly very low. I have never, not once, had a helpful or pleasant experience working with the pharmacy staff. No one can answer any questions, they don't seem to want to anyway. Ignorance is bliss! They never call the doctor to help, there is ALWAYS a wait, and honesty, they are rude. They have given me wrong information regarding prescriptions and insurance more than 5 times. Doesn't seem like there's much they CAN do. I have never had such a consistently disgraceful experience at a CVS before. Please switch to the Target CVS in Ansonia, where they are eager to help, and go above and beyond. read more

Really the worst experience of any pharmacy I've gone to. I took my husband there to get a vaccine. They told me that the insurance doesn't cover it and tried to charge $211. When I said that I believe that it should be covered they told me to call my insurance. Online my provider indicates that it is in fact 100% covered. I called the insurance and they told me it is 100% covered and that the person entered the claim incorrectly (added an administration fee). I called the pharmacy back and the person, who I believe may have been the same person, said that there was no way to enter the claim. She told me that she couldn't do anything unless I rescheduled the appointment. I work all day so have to schedule after 6 and I was concerned that once we got there they would again reject the claim. She would not call the insurance company directly which is what the agent mentioned that they should do in order to figure out how to enter the claim. I re-scheduled the appointment and CVS immediately canceled the appointment. They didn't call me or give me any indication as to why the appointment was rejected other than a text "due to unforeseen circumstances". Needless to say we won't go back to that CVS again. read more

i went to cvs, west street seymour today. my prescription was returned to stock even though their automated message said i had until tomorrow to pick up. the lady at the pick up window was extremely snotty with me. i dont understand how she could be employed to deal with customers. she needs to he fired! read more

The staff were pretty nice and every thing was easy to find. If you need medicine I suggest going CVS.
