Dysfunctional, unreliable and ineffective pharmacy: I placed refill of ongoing prescription from…read moreWalgreens by phone on Tuesday, system accepted and informed me would be ready on Thursday. I went to pharmacy to pick up prescription on Friday, "technician" informed me no record of prescription refill in the system at all. When I asked how could that be, she responded, "I can't tell you why the system did what it did." I spoke to manager by phone who told me the system "had a glitch on Tuesday", that's why there is no record of my prescription refill. He continued saying he spoke to pharmacy and I could pick up my prescription now. I drove to pick up my prescription for the second time the following day and was told by technician or pharmacist at window there was no record of prescription again, furthermore even though I had placed request before expiration, the scrip was now expired and there was no way they could fill it. That would have been my last refill on the scrip and it's the weekend now, can't even contact the Dr office for a new scrip.
