Finally had the last straw with Station Ave CVS. If you've ever encountered a so-called professional counselor who Number one doesn't want to help or understand anything you tell her and just wants to be obnoxious and yell Good-by Good-by and don't come back You should just take that advise and leave. I was sent to this person Jenifer by the Asian woman on the register to verify a cell number on my records. She was probably the least professional person I've ever met and I've been coming to this CVS for 26 years. Something or many things are changing at this Store. Hard to say what management is or isn't doing but there is a bad attitude and this person was the epidemy of what many have to me lately. I really do believe Jenifer enjoyed her little rant. However I don't think anyone else did. One thing sure, I won't be coming back. read more

Just waited an hour in this place to pick up a prescription when the automated phone message had said it was ready. They somehow didn't have my daughter's insurance info on file, even though I've had refills here before. So they had to "reprocess" the Rx. Had to go wait in another line for that. Then the staff member told me my insurance had rejected it - she finally got that issue fixed & told me I should call my insurance so it doesn't happen again. I dared to suggest it might be a CVS problem since my old pharmacy was always able to refill it. Maybe there's some system issue with the handoff between CVS and my insurance? She retorted, "you're not making sense." Told me to go wait on the cashier line to pay. But the cashier had told me I could step to the front once I was done getting the Rx reprocessed, I said. She responded angrily to this and would not allow it. I told her she was being rude... "no, you're being rude"... the cashier motioned for me to come to the front, then this person started yelling at HER... I almost started crying in the car. Get your act together. Don't scold your customers and coworkers. This place is a mess. read more

Good luck finding anyone who works there aside from the pharmacy! Too many times have I come and there has been zero help? requiring me to use self check out. Well, that might work if you have 1 or 2 items,but I have more than what will fit on the 'place your items here' deck and the bags fall apart instantly, and if I use my cart to place heavy purchased items before I finish the self checkout the computer has a fit and then STILL NO ASSISTANCE COMES . This pharmacy is one of the best on the Cape. Very efficient and fast. Drive thru window saves alot of time and my mother in law switched to this pharMacy too and loves it. The pharmacist is helpful and offered Good advice on side effects and interactions with other meds. 5 stars. read more

No one answers the phone at this CVS, and the phone robot forces you to listen to 3 minutes of nothingness and irrelevant comments. I made a HUGE mistake of transferring a presciption from another pharmacy to save $4.00. CVS needs to change the phone protocol immediately! read more

The pharmacy is awful. In addition to extremely long lines and what appears to be a messy unkept pharmacy, the service is bad too. I never leave there thinking, "That was a great experience." But two instances say it all. 1. Labor day, my wife and I are in line for the pharmacy. We wait a bit and one person remains ahead of us when we are told. Sorry, we close at 6:00. The fact that we were in line before 6 made no difference. You'd think they were dispensing candy instead of medicine. 2. I get a text from CVS inviting me to make an appointment to come in for a flu shot. I accept the solicitation and make the appointment for the following day. When I arrive and tell them I am here for my apt. they inform me that they are out of flu shots. I asked why they are soliciting apts if they don't have product. Answer, "we don't control our website" (I thought perhaps I stumbled into Walgreens for my CVS apt.) and that they don't take apts. Huh? you sent me the solicitation? The pharmacists overhear both instances and do nothing. I don't normally go on like this but store is a mess. We don't have a lot of choices on Cape Cod but I will go to Stop and Shop or look for a Walgreens in the future and recommend you do the same. read more

No one answers the phone. It's especially frustrating when you aren't able to go in there in person every time you have a question. I've tried to get information about a prescription that I tried to refill through the app that ended up getting out "on hold". I haven't been home so I haven't been able to go in person. Extremely frustrating being on hold on the phone for AN HOUR (multiple times no less), and no one answers the phone! Not even to say "sorry we are very busy right now, can we give you a call back?" Or something along those lines. read more

While in Yarmouth I needed to grab some tissues, chapstick and coloring pencils, so I decided to drop by this CVS. This location was a bit strange and actually was one of the least stocked locations I have been to in a long time. The arts section of this store was tiny and when I went to look for tissues I was amazed that they only had a small selection of goods. The redeeming factor about this location was the fact that the staff was pleasant. Beyond that, the store was a mess and they need to work on having merchandise in the store. I visited on a Friday morning which wasn't after a holiday or busy week, no excuses for the way the store looked. read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would. On 3 separate occasions I've called ahead to make sure my prescription was ready and was told they were. When I arrive, they are suddenly not ready and they need another 20 mins. Are you kidding me?? I let it pass after the first two times but 3 times is obsurd. The same thing happened to my husband 4 days ago. Get your act together, we will be changing pharmacies. read more

Their Drive-Thru has gotten very bad lately regarding wait times. Today I waited 10 minutes for just the car ahead of me to get their scripts. I recently waited 20-plus minutes. What the heck is going on? When I got to the window I did complain (diplomatically) and the clerk was rude to me. "We're in the middle of a pandemic, ya know" Then she slammed the window. I started to say "There's no need to be rude to me..." She didn't even hear it. And she handed me the script with no "have a nice day." Ugh! CVS management needs to train customer-facing workers how to interact politely with the public (yes, even in the face of difficult people). After all, many people getting scripts are in pain! So the pain may be talking. It's nothing personal - customers are just trying to accomplish something. This CVS used to have a very nice, older lady working the drive thru and it was a pleasure to deal with her. I hope she hasn't retired, but I haven't seen her in a while. They no longer answer their phones due to staffing issues. This is a huge problem when you are in the business of supplying necessary medical information to the public. Management was complacent with the poor service as well. read more

The pharmacy staff seems confused and inept; every time I called about my prescription I was given a different story about what my doctor's office needed to provide. Pharmacist A said my doctor's office needed to provide a "pre auth." Not true! I already had been taking this medication so it was pre-authorized. Pharmacist B said "we're all set; we just have to order the medication. It should be in by Monday." (Monday came and went - no pills) Pharmacist C said, after all of the issues had been ironed out, that she "needed to text her manager who was out today." Still no prescription. This is ONE WEEK after trying to refill this essential medication. Stay away from this pharmacy! read more

Today I went to CVS to pick up an refill of my prescription as I have done for the last 12 years with this medication. They refused to provide me my medication unless I allowed them to scan my driver's license, as the medication they claimed is now a controlled substance. I allowed them to copy the information and they refused they said they only can scan it and thus refused me my prescription. They were rude, crude and like dealing with a machine not a human, they just kept repeating a script and said they do not want to deal with this issue. I left, came back and cancelled the order and purchased it elsewhere without allowing my license to be scanned and my identity stolen. read more

When I lived in PA the CVS was busy but yet they were fast, reliable, and professional. But I love Cape Cod and it's where I choose to live. That being said, I think we, here on Cape Cod, all know how unaffordable housing, etc is on the Cape, leaving the Cape with slim pickings for professional help. So we can't really blame CVS. Yes I can see the difference in service. This week I requested a refill of my meds at 75 mgs and got my 150 mgs instead. So I have to be more careful when checking at pick up. Be patient Cape Codders and Tourists, it's just the way it is. read more

I placed a photo order online almost 24 hours ago, went to pick it up and after waiting for the guy to clear out dozens of old photo orders from the system (?), was told that oh yeah, one of the printers was down and my order couldn't be printed. Thankfully I didn't pay for the order and cancelled it instead of wasting more time there. read more

The pharmacists at this pharmacy are not professional and lack any patience if a customer is having an issue with their reimbursements. I was told they would not give me a medication even though the insurance approved it. I will tell you I transferred my prescription to another CVS which was happy to work with me and fill this prescriptions. Stay away from this pharmacy and hopefully they will get some new staff that will have empathy for a patient and not a "I know more than you" and "deal with it attitude". Go some where else. read more
