It works. Can be rather busy. The self checkout lines have helped, but employees can be few and hard to find. They are super, as I believe a lot of retailers are struggling finding help. This is fairly clean and organized. It probably could use a renovation in some areas. The parking is decent. That's one area I do appreciate. I also like that, this is close to other spots I visit. Convenience is important. Also I appreciate CVS being the first to go tobacco free. A gutsy move but the right one. read more

I have to comment on what a great experience I had at CVS in West Springfield. It seems they are overwhelmed with customer demands these days. But I had a challenge where my doctor, the pharmacy, my insurer and a drug manufacturer could not communicate to resolve an expensive drug my doctor wanted me to take. Only Salma Mohamed cared enough or had the skills to follow it through to the end for me. I really appreciated her kindness to me and her confidence that she could solve a problem others passed the buck on. read more

one star is a gift....laughing at sick people is NOT cool. Two plus hours at the Cardinal Forest CVS....one script was filled for someone the other was not....please wait while we do it. One script filled the other out of stock...oh we forgot to tell you that this morning....oh wait it just came in.....please wait while we fill it. One script filled the other sent to another CVS. Sorry it was an error but since it's there we cannot refill it presently so get driving. Me...checking on multiple scripts after 30 minutes. I hear laughter....tell her we are busy we are checking. The cashier hold up the filled prescription bags and says it still needs verification please have a seat.....I bite my lip and sit. 30 minutes later rechecking. They still need to be verified and holds up the bags.....No one ever moved my prefilled prepackaged prescriptions back for "verification". I completely lose it. I say you know what laughing at a sick person and then not even moving her stuff into the cue is not cool. In fact it's mean. I get you are busy but so was I teaching very sick during a sub shortage so fill my prescription please....now. All the other folks look up because after sitting quietly for over an hour I am pretty upset...in fact I am crying because I feel like crap and they suck. Message to all Fairfax folks....do NOT use the Cardinal Forest CVS pharmacy. They stink...try Kings Park instead. That is where they mistakenly sent someone else's prescription. read more

I'm sick right now and just left urgent care with a prescription. The pharmacy I've been using to be past year is closed at this time and I still wouldn't come to this CVS for their pharmacy section! When I call, I'm always on hold for at least 45 minutes. they also leave prescriptions "in process" for days instead of filling them!

I don't know what has been going on here over the last year, but there are at least 10 people in line for pharmacy pickup whenever I come in here now. The line moves very slowly. I just waited 45 minutes for a prescription that was called in 12 hours earlier. Their signs say they are currently hiring pharmacy technicians so maybe it's a personnel issue. I feel sorry for the current staff having to deal with so many irate customers, but they really need to get it together over there. There weren't even chairs to sit in while I waited this evening because so many people were waiting (and fuming) on orders that were called in this morning. If it was once or twice, fine, but this has been ongoing for months now. I've had enough. Switching to Walgreens across the street and hoping for better luck there. read more

Im required to use CVS by my insurance. Pharmacy is unhelpful and does NOTHING to facilitate getting needed meds. They don't care. I've been coming to this location for years, and they always seem to have it together. Even more so than other locations in the area. I came in today to pick-up a pharmacy y order that was called in by my Doctor's office. They had it all ready and waiting for me in a container. There were two employees working behind the counter, and I was attended to very quickly. The whole process took about 3 minutes. There was a refrigerator filled with cold water, so i grabbed a couple in my way to the register. The store was clean with everything in its place I also noticed a sign near the door that they now offer pharmacy deliveries. Is ill have to give that one a try sometime, because it would be very convenient. I'm not sure what the. Linux is there for it what types of services they provide, but it seems like a good idea for non-urgent type of care. read more

Terrible terrible pharmacy. They hound you robo calls telling you your prescription is ready for pickup and when you go to pick it up it's not ready. Told me 15mins and I waited 15mins only to be told it's not ready and won't be for another 30mins. Trying to talk to the pharmacist and she walks away. Deceptive business practices! At checkout, the cashier told me "if you give me your email, I'll add it to your account and give you a $10 coupon." So I did. Only when I was clicking through the touchpad confirming my email and accepting terms did I read the fine print that I was actually enrolling in a rewards program. The program debits $5 per month from your credit card (again, wasn't told this) and puts it (plus another $5) on my cvs card as a $10 coupon. This expires after 30 days--also conveniently not mentioned by the cashier. When I balked at this and noted the deception used on me, the cashier apologized and voided the registration. Then she and, subsequently, the manager tried to spin the program as a "good deal" and wondered why I wouldn't want it. Well, #1 I don't like being deceived and enrolled in a program that will cost me money without being told that. And #2 since I won't be shopping at CVS anymore (switching all my Rx to Walgreens too), it really isn't a good deal. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been in. Everyone behind the counter acts like they a doped up on the Rx's because they react so slow to what you ask them. They text you that your Rx is ready but when you arrive it's either NOT ready (like right now as I type this) or they restocked it because you didn't come that day. There is always a line a no one seems to be to know what's going on. Go across Rolling Rd to WALGREENS. Its cheaper and much nicer people. read more

If I could give ZERO stars I absolutely would. Avoid this place at all costs as the management is not only rude to their own employees but also rude to the customers. No one has any idea what they're doing, they all might as well be running a gas station instead of a pharmacy/Kodak location. I recently bought a disposable camera from here and brought it back to get the film developed. When I asked an associate for help they had no idea they even sold cameras, much less developed the film. I was then told that they don't develop the film on site anymore, they have to send the camera to another location and within three weeks I will get a call back saying that it was ready to be picked up. It's been over a month now. I've tried calling and nobody picks up. When I went to the location nobody had any idea what I was talking about, and the most they could do was refund me for what the disposable camera was worth. It's one thing to tell me you don't know how to do something- at that point I can go to another location and figure it out. But to pretend like you know what you're doing and then LOSE the camera??? Save your breath with this place, COVID is doing a better job at communicating than this place. read more

My family and I have used this pharmacy for YEARS. I have had a lot of issues with them in the past, mostly with how rude some of the staff can be. Recently I've had 4-5 interactions with a lady at the "drop off" area who is absolutely the very definition of how an employee should be! Her name is Kathryn (I hope I spelled it right), and she is always so kind and friendly to me! She always sets me at ease, and it truly makes me happy when I go in and see that she's the one working that day! The pharmacist Maggie and the other associates are horrible and rude as well! i would highly recommend not coming here as to the service is terrible and the pharmacist is there to only make the patients more stressed. My physician had to call in on a Sunday for them to verify a prescription that I had been recieving at the exact location on the correct date every months for a year and half! During a Pandemic! This was my first time at this CVS. I went in recently to get a cold medicine but I wasn't sure exactly what product I needed. The employee Mosammat was very helpful. Not only did she direct me to the correct isle, but she helped me figure out with product I needed as well. Mosammat was very friendly and had great customer service. One of the best experiences I've ever had at a pharmacy. Not sure how long the pharmacist Eunice has been working there but she was on point and helpful. Hope she doesn't leave. She doesn't waste time even with all the distractions going on there. I'm not going to lie, I am a Walgreen's guy. I stopped in here because it is a larger store than the Walgreen's next door. I found the items I was looking for but I have to admit, this place is expensive! I needed some Braun Clean and Renew and I normally pay $10.99 and this place charged $15.99. I also grabbed a bag of charcoal and that was about $3 more than I would have paid at Walmart. I was in a hurry so I paid it, but I wouldn't shop here again due to the price. On another note, I didn't find the personnel very friendly either. When I checked out the girl at the register was very sweet though. The selection here was really good for as well. Minute Clinic. HORRIBLE!!! I took my son there for his physical and shots on 8/18/15. Despite being the second in line, we waited for about three hours to get seen as there was only one person working, it seemed. We finally get seen and I ask the lady, Lorena more than a few times if the shots she's giving him are the ones he needs for school and she gives me the assurance that he has everything he needs and gives him a couple of shots. One of which is one of two shots that needs to be given in a 24 hour period, otherwise, he'd have to wait a whole month to get the second. Instead of telling me that they don't carry what we need, he's given a partial shot mixture and I'm given the "he's all set" only to find out today that he needs three more shots in order to attend school. Great. I go back to the minute clinic today and after waiting an hour, I'm told they don't carry what I need and to try the health department. At the health department now only to find out that because Lorena only gave him part of the shot and it's now outside of the second shot's window, he has to wait a whole month! Now it's iffy that he'll be able to start school in time. Thank you, CVS Minute Clinic for wanting just a patient with money rather than actually doing your job. We're never going back there and suggest you don't either. Horrible wait times and incompetent service! read more
