Every time I visit this CVS I always have a pleasant visit. The checkout experience is exceptional with caring staff members who genuinely care about my experience. They are also quick to resolve issues: I was buying a Clio yogurt bar and it rang up for $999 vs. $2.69. The employee joked " This must be some kind of yogurt bar!". He was able to fix the error. The store is well organized and clean. It is located in the Hylan Boulevard plaza thus, there are other stores to visit such as Old Navy, Bath and Body Works, and Alamo Movie theater to name a few. I have to say it's better than the ones in Bay Ridge. Highly recommend when you are visiting Staten Island. read more

Horrible pharmacy phone service. No one calls back and the machine will hang up on you when it says connecting. Really sad.

You no longer can speak to a pharmacist when you call new dorp. Dont bother leaving a message because you don't get a call back. If you have a question you're out of luck. I want to get a Covid vaccine before Trump/RFK make them obsolete. Check the web site but no appointments in my area. I want to know if they even have the vaccine. Great job cvs! Pharmacy is ran by the rudest most unhelpful people. Zero customer service skills. Short tempered, the pharmacist cut me off mid sentence multiple times- didn't want to listen or provide any assistance in helping me solve a problem. Just said back order. Wouldn't say anything about the dosage in stock. And hung up the phone on me. read more

I came to get my flu shot around 8 at night and was asked if I made an appointment. The pharmacist was pretty rude at first but it was understandable since there were several other people waiting on line and there was three of us trying to get the vaccine and all three of us did not make an appointment. After signing some papers, we each went into the room to get our shots. The pharamacist did a great job and we barely felt a thing. read more

Drive-through. There was a redheaded young female, working at the drive-through, and she asked me some simple information. I politely told her, I have a prescription ready. She said there's none here for you. so, knowing I had a prescription, I showed her my phone that a prescription was waiting for me and I had a confirmation # as well. Looking at me With a confused look, She told me to wait and then she disappeared, for about 5 min or so. Finally, she got back and asked me, "give me date of birth again". I gave it to her again in a clear and recognizable language, without yelling or being rude. Long story short, she had it wrong, (my name and date of birth) instead of apologizing, or saying sorry or anything, she just handed me the bag after. Not a thank you, no sorry, no nothing. This young lady needs to learn a bit of a "customer service" does she know what she does for a living? She deals with $ customers on a daily basis, Somebody should teach her some manners. Despite all of that, I told her thank you, and have a nice day. Hoping she would catch on to being friendly and smiling, She just close the window. PR should address this, or at least the DM. read more

They finally opened a new location but In the same shopping center. This place seems a lot bigger but it's only 1000 square feet larger then the previous store. The parking lot is big and is well organized. Plenty of parking spots for everyone. When you walk in the entrance you see the whole store. The lights are bright and has a warm welcome feeling. All the isles are clear and well organized. Shelves seem stocked and the items are in the right isle. The pharmacy is huge and well designed. It has a warm open feeling. The staff from the cashiers to the mangers are friendly and helpful. They also built a drive thru pharmacy for people who May not be able to walk a lot and for you lazy people. The only bummer is that it's not a 24/7 store but it's still open from 6am-12am read more

after spending thanksgiving with my wonderful nephew eric and the family, eating a feast and watching football i made my way to the verr . bridge via hylan blvd and while on my journey i notice a large cvs store that was still open and i ran in to pick up a few goodies . nice large cvs with well stocked shelves and the christmas spirit via holiday stuff was on full displayed. i really dont need anything pressing but the ice cream i like is on sale and who can say no to fruity pebbles cereal for 1.99 per box, nyquil pm and imodium tablets(i ate too too much ). the pharmacy is closed and i dont have access to the trashy magazines but thats ok cause its late and i need my beauty sleep. checkout was quick cause i am the only customer here and i used my cvs card to knock off a few more bucks from my total. 4 stars on my yelp meter. read more

This CVS chronically forgets to run prescriptions through the insurance, (have to take multiple trips in order to get a refund.). It took me three trips in order to add my dependents accurately in their computer system . If I could give zero starts I would. read more

LOVE, LOVE LOVE this new location. It is right up the street from me so I go here very often. It is always immaculately clean, stuff is pretty well stocked, if they are out they can tell you when more is coming. They have a great selection of everything you could want from a big pharmacy store like this. It is nice & bright, organized, just great. The retail aspect is fantastic, some items are a bit overpriced, but that is the convenience factor of a pharmacy. ......However: Review on pharmacy - 0 stars, rest of the store I'd give 4-5. The Pharmacy area is always packed, busy, I get that, they do a lot of business, this is a very busy area & the only other options in this area are a family owned pharmacy & a couple of grocery store pharmacies. I'm very much considering moving my families prescriptions to the local family owned one. This pharmacy has messed up (BIG) a couple (handful?) of times. I've gotten someone elses prescription once, paid for it & all, wondered why my co-pay was so high.. ugh, HOW, I signed my name for it & everything. I didn't realize until I opened the bag walking out of the store to see if they gave me the non-preferred name brand & saw someone elses name entirely. CRAZY DANGEROUS!!!!!! Then when I went back they acted like it was MY fault for signing my name when they said "sign" while picking it up paying for it. I asked why they didn't stop it then, she said that I could've been picking it up for that person, meanwhile the persons medication I got had NOWHERE near a similar name to me... no first or last initial, no similar sounding first or last name, nowhere near the same number of letters - I was puzzled how that happened. Post pregnancy I had a thyroid issue & needed to take meds for it, There was another med/supplement I was already taking & still taking at the time, they were picked up together for MONTHS until I found out from my doctor that I should NEVER take them near the same time (4 hours before or 2 hours after) because the iron completely prevents the thyroid hormone from being absorbed, no wonder I went months with no improvement. This was from 2 different doctors so there is no way for me to have been told this from them until months later doing bloodwork to find out why things were still going wrong. This is something they should have told me being my pharmacy, especially when both meds were filled & picked up at the same time. This was SO dangerous & caused me adverse reactions for 4 months. After I educated them on the subject & pointed out my concern, now I get a sticker on the bottle that says it shouldn't be taken with blah blah blah... Too little, too late. Another time I actually picked up an Rx for my son when he was about 3 months old & they didn't put it in the bag, when I got home, it was an emtpy bag with the script print out stapled to it.... When I called, the pharmacy was closed, I coudn't do anything or even go to another pharmacy at that point. SO awful to have a baby screaming with an ear infection all night - made it pointless to go to urgent care, like if I could have waited for a prescription till the next morning (which I had to) I would've taken him to his regular doctor. Next morning I called as soon as they opened & they said I needed to bring the reciept in & they'd watch on camera... seriously?!? I need this for my baby... When I got there, they knew because they had found the prescription in the fridge, whoever rang me up didn't take it out of the fridge & just scanned the bag saying it was ready for pick up... Thankfully I didn't have a problem going in to grab it, 12 hours after I paid for it & NEEDED it. Also for some reason every time I go through the drive through here it is ridiculous, I almost feel like they get a kick out of telling you 15 more mins 3-4 times & making you drive back around. I understand maybe it would be preferable for some reason for me to come in the store, but if I drop off an Rx & am told a certain time, I come at that time if I'm waiting in the parking lot with a baby, or myself sick. The last time I went through the drive through, the woman clearly sees I have a baby in the back in a carseat, but tells me 15 more mins, TWICE, the 3rd time back around she tells me to just drive around again that it is ALLLLMOST ready... then after going around again, waiting for her to come to the window she tells me 15 more mins AGAIN... You've gotta be effin kidding me?! Not cute or funny. The Pharmacy staff needs a bit more organization & training. Funny that the old store in the same lot while it used to have a less appealing retail storefront... the pharmacy was wonderful. Things flip flopped big time. Get it together guys. read more

Situated in a trashy & dirty shopping center, it is probably the best store in that entire lot. Although it needs a bit of revamping itself, I can usually find what I need. The store can get crowded & expect to wait on the pharmacy line as well. It's convenient & usually has good deals. read more

The pharmacy is GOD AWFUL ! Be prepared to wait over a half hour 1. to drop off and 2. to pick up !
