This is located in Thorndale and closer to Wawa. They have plenty of parking but sometimes tough to get in and get out back to main road due to you can't turn left etc. Typical CVS store that has ATM machine, photo print area, basic stationery, huge candy/chocolate section, cosmetics, dental section, travel accessories, and travel packs. They do have a wide range of over the counter, which includes leading brands and their own brand. You can find some seasonal items that form good for gifting. There is an area for getting vaccines. Coming to the prescriptions, they pretty much carry the prescriptions and are okay to keep it longer if you call them ahead. Refills are easy, too. The only thing scheduling appointments is challenging at this location. read more

The minute clinic definitely needs some updates, there was one person ahead of us and our appointment started 30 minutes late. If someone schedules an appointment type that is going to take a long time then the system shouldn't let someone else schedule an appointment close to them. Also, to the nurse practitioner who kept insisting we go sit in the waiting area, 1 I work sitting down all day and prefer standing, 2 why would I want to go sit in a small corner area with poor ventilation surrounded by people who might be there for an illness? Thank you for pointing out the waiting area, but I don't think anyone missed it, just chill out and let us stand if that's how we feel comfortable. read more

Every year there always seems to be a problem with the CVS pharmacy techs. These techs are clearly miserable with their jobs as they don't wish to help, they won't be busy and tell you they don't have time for you or to check on a script or look into what the issue is with the insurance, or they will have an attitude with you because they'd like to get to the next person. You are a number here, a cattle. I can't stand this place and the horrible attitudes these people give and the lack of human empathy. Find a better pharmacy, you don't deserve to be treated the way this big corporate place or the people who choose to work here treat their customers. read more

Kudos to the CVS Pharmacy across from the train in Thorndale. They were understaffed yesterday, December 14 afternoon, with two long lines waiting to be served. My VRC veterinarians had called in a vital prescription for my black Lab, Koko, but it had gotten put aside due to human/computer error. The pharmacist took the prescription over the phone, and immediately filled it as I waited. I heard her say, "139 dollars," and nearly fainted! The nice lady who works the counter went to work, finding a pet discount card for me which brought the price down to a manageable $31. I was grateful for their going the extra mile to help Koko and me. Why people give CVS one star, I do not know. It is a demanding service that requires a lot of knowledge and organization. These one-stars are just unreasonably cranky. read more

Update: I was forced to come here again for a script. They said they were out of the antibiotics for my child after I waited in drive thru for half an hour. Then they said they sent a request to the doctor for a new script, but hadn't heard back. I called the doctor and they received nothing from this CVS. The doctor requested that CVS call them for the new script. CVS REFUSED and said it would be TWO HOURS until they could call because they were "backed up". I called the doctor again and told them what was going on and they said they would call CVS on my behalf. All of this took less than 10 min at the drive through window. I told them I would wait while they spoke to the doctor. Someone else got on the speaker and told me to move immediately. I said I had already waited half an hour in drive through so I was not going to move until it was filled. SHE SAID THAT IF I DID NOT MOVE THEY WOULD CALL THE COPS. ARE YOU SERIOUS? I HATE THIS CVS! This CVS is terrible. Waiting currently in the drive through line since 5:15pm. It is currently 5:44pm. There were literally 10 cars in line. I called inside to make sure their system wasn't down and they said they only had one person working drive through orders and one working scripts for inside, and they were busy. Busy is understandable. Several cars left the line already. The person in the phone was rude as hell to me saying "there's no way you possibly are waiting that long." Um, yes, I am, I looked at the clock when I pulled in the line because Every time we use this CVS it's a horrible experience. Then I finally get to the window and they said my script that was called in at 8:00am is not ready. It's 5:45pm. Seriously? The employee told me it would be another 20-30 minutes and I could come back. I refused saying I've been sitting here since 5:15, 30 minutes at this point and there is NO WAY I am leaving and coming back to sit in this line again. Cvs Minute Clinic RNP in horrible! My 86 yo dad had an ear infection and a cold. She stated that she couldn't provide level of care. Stated he has an arrhythmia, again doesnt. He sees a cardiologist a few times a year due to a heart attack several years ago. He's as healthy as can be. She made him go to Urgent Care, he sat and waited 5 hours for an antibiotic and Robitussin. Seriously! Same RNP that my daughter saw for a UTI and she harassed her if she was pregnant. She isn't but she is in school to be a PA! If you can't issue an antibiotic when it's necessary, why offer a clinic? BTW all of our rX's are filled at CVS. THE NP WAS Polina Kozlowski. read more

I'm writing this because too many times people only review their bad experiences. I use this pharmacy exclusively. Yes, at times I've had to wait. It's a very busy pharmacy and I'm sure you'd wait just as long at any other pharmacy. I will tell you their customer service is excellent. They have gone outbid their way to make sure I understand the medications I've gotten, they've redone persecution a because I brought a coupon after they already filled my script and can't tell you how many times they have contacted my doctor for new refills. So people, there are somethings that you can do to make your experience easier. Have your prescription called and from your doctor so he's waiting for you. Drive through the drop drive-through to drop your prescription off. Pick them up at non-busy times. Thank you to all the staff at the CVS pharmacy for always making my experience the best it can be. I guess it depends on the day. My first rapid COVID test they could just call me with the response and did with in 20 minutes. Today however I've been waiting in the parking lot for over an hour after getting the test done. I knocked on the clinic door to see if something happened. She said my results were done but another lady needed to call me. I asked how much longer that would be and she just said she had another customer and shut the door on me. I'm still just sitting in the parking lot waiting for a phone call not sure why I have to wait here instead of going home and receiving a phone call. read more

Used to be a good pharmacy, pharmacy people are very nasty and will trash talk customers right in front of you! Not to mention they are slow as Moses to do anything. There will be 5 or 6 of them just standing there talking amungs each other and I would be the only person in line and I'd still have to wait 10 minutes before anyone decides to help me even tho they've all seen me standing there. I've left CVS all together. I do NOT appreciate a lecture EVERY TIME I pick up my meds. I've been using my meds for 10 years, I know how to take my own damn medication. I also find it very inappropriate to be asked by them why I am taking said medicines for or asking me why I have so many prescription, is that any of your damn business? I don't think so! I also do NOT appreciate the pharmacist taking it upon themselves to withhold my DOCTOR prescribed medications because THEY think don't need the full amount my DOCTOR prescribed! And refuse to give the full amount and only give me 10 pills and then I have to go BACK to my doctor and get ANOTHER prescription!! So, I don't go to CVS anymore. I go to Hopewell Pharmacy on Horseshoe pike. Never had a problem there. The pharmacy staff members are ALL such a delight and I've never once been lectured, harassed, questioned, or had any of my medicine withheld from me for any reason. read more

Worst pharmacy experience. I came here they say give them 15 mins, I give them 25 come back then they say they don't have my perscription in stock. They say they can send it to other cvs. I said ok just make sure it's ready I've already been waiting 30 mins. Get to other cvs and they have nothing for me! Do not go to this pharmacy unless u want to waste time driving around the county. Just go to walgreens where things are fast, friendly and convenient. This is, officially, the slowest CVS to ever exist. I have stood in line with 2 other people here for 20 minutes while the cashiers do god-knows-what up front. It is an infuriating experience. Just go to the rite-aid down the road. Or better yet, the nicer CVS just down the road. read more

@CVS Thorndale 3029 Lincoln Hwy Thorndale, PA 19372 - across from the Thorndale train station. T@*l*r, who answers the phone in the Pharmacy, needs some training on how to answer the phone and speak with customers in a kind, courteous and professional manner. This is the second time I've called and been given a 'talking to' saying that I get my prescriptions filled at the Reeceville Rd. CVS would I like her to transfer me... I asked about what she just said, saying "this is the second time I've been 'told' that when I've called this pharmacy is there a problem that I use both pharmacies?" She then listed what had been filled at that pharmacy, ignoring the ones I had refills for at her pharmacy (plus the 2 per month for my husband filled out of 'her' pharmacy). I told her that actually, I choose the pharmacy that is on my route of travel (including Wegman's if I have shopping to do, Rite Aid or even, on rare occasion, Walmart). I told her I felt like I was being judged for having used the other CVS pharmacy for my medications filled there and asked if there is some pharmacy policy in place that I was breaching, etc (I don't know - the laws these days seem to change hourly). She said 'no, they just like to know their customers so they can make sure the stock enough and then she mentioned the specific brand and that I had it transferred to the other CVS (because they they were out of it when the refill was due and I called the 'other' pharmacy and they had the medication). So weird, right? I explained to her that I was missing two discs in my spine and one in my neck on it's way out. Unfortunately, I suffer from chronic pain as a result of injuries suffered from a car accident that now are catching-up with me and I felt she was casting judgment. Nonetheless, having someone so curt and 'unkind' in her manner, is something that adds insult to injury. Most people needing the assistance of a pharmacy are 'not well', so CVS should train their people on how to speak kindly and professionally. I know that the customers are not always 'kind' either, but I spoke to her in a decent manner and I expect to be spoken to likewise. She said that there was no judgment and then told me the numbers I would need from my new insurance plan card in order to see if the refill (from HER CVS) could be processed. Wow! Stopped yesterday to pick up my prescription. Five pp working back there and not one of them said hello, be right with you, drop dead, nothing. Waited a couple minutes, finally got a "yes?" from one of them. Everyone was SO incredible rude. Not to mention I dropped off this prescription two weeks ago & was assured it would be submitted in the next 3 days & I would be called when it was ready. Didn't happen. I finally asked when I could pick up my prescription & the woman waiting on me turned to another & said, "can you tell her how long?" and walked away from me! I am transferring ALL of my prescriptions. How RUDE! read more
