Meh. Very transactional, high staff turnover, disinterested staff. I guess it's pretty convenient, with plenty of parking.

Was rudely told that the drive through was closed despite the posted hours on the drive through window. The asshole pharmacist didn't give me a chance to explain that I was picking up a prescription for paxlovid, I didn't want to go in the store because I didn't want to infect anyone, so I left. Good news is I don't have Covid. More good news is that a new cvs is about to open in Manasquan. I've been poorly treated at this cvs before, this was the last time they get the chance to abuse me. This place is the worst. The pharmacist is so rude. She won't even come to the front and so you have to say your personal info like birthday out loud for everyone to hear. When I asked if I can come back to pick it up, she didn't even let me finish my question and yelled 'Sit down!!! Wait for 20 minutes!'. What is this place, the DMV?!!! read more

1 star is generous for this unreliable pharmacy. I rarely get to pick up RXs in the drive-thru because it's always closed - the excuses include out to lunch, no staff, Covid testing only, etc. They should not advertise this location as a drive-thru since they consistently fail to provide service during the posted hours. read more

The pharmacist Joe is the rudest person . If you are not happy with your job then leave it. I was in line way before their lunch hour. i looked at my clock as he was telling everyone to leave in the nastiest way. The girl told me i was fine and as i was the next person up he said to close the gate on me . it was 1:29. it takes 30 sec to grab my script. You still would have been under your 1:30 lunch time Joe. It's all in the delivery buddy. I also noticed as being a nasty rude person he could not even look any one in the eyes. lol. The girl that was ringing up was so embarrassed . GET RID of that guy. I love CVS so to be so rude at this location that I will never visit again is not even extreme in my judgment. I came to pick up a prescription and as I was driving I saw I would be 2 minutes past closing so called 3 times to have them hold the prescription I needed, to which no answer. Upon arrival the pharmacy was open and still operating to my surprise and as I went to pick up a prescription a women rudely yelled at me that there is nothing she could do even though I saw my medication bag and would offer more money than my prescription to just pick it up. Luckily a man agreed to ring me up and if I didn't feel guilty enough apologizing for being 2 minutes over time this women kept on commenting that she hoped the machines WOULD NOT WORK in order to fulfill my prescription (which has to do with anxiety medication and is super important) and that she hopes I am ashamed of myself for getting helped. It's the holiday season and I have never seen a women more like the grinch than her. Goodbye forever this store. read more

Worst run store I have ever been in. You have to wait hours for a prescription to be ready. The people are rude. They charged me $53 for a generic antibiotic. When I got home, I checked my Rx insurance and they did not put it through as they did with the other Rx I got at the exact same time. They said they thought they were saving me money by not going through my insurance. It should have been $10 generic copay with the insurance instead of the $53 they charged me. This was the worst experience!!! Don't ever go there!!! The pharmacist was rude and yelling about lack of staffing. They were supposed to open at 9:00 but did not open until almost 9:15. The pharmacist was heard yelling loudly- was rude!!!! So unprofessional! read more

This CVS is trying to offer better customer service. Inventory in the main store is spotty. Pharmaceutical pickup is fine. Best is to have automated refills and text messaging. read more

Service here has declined substantially over the past year or so. Waited two hours for a SCHEDULED COVID test. No update or explanation provided for the wait. Go elsewhere. read more

Worse run pharmacy - they never have the RX ready even though the automated system confirms. And sometime you don't even get a confirmation because RXs that are called into this pharmacy go into big poly black hole. Go elsewhere. read more

Literally horrible. Worst pharmacy I've ever been to. I've been waiting over 30 minutes in the drive thru line to get a covid test and there are several cars in front of me. I know for a fact that these should take no more than 10 minutes. If you have no choice but to get a test here...I suggest coming an hour before your scheduled time. read more
