They forget without customers there isn't a job and people have options, i.e. there are other locations and other pharmacies like CVS which is not even a mile away. I've decided today to switch my prescriptions over to CVS, I'm tired of dealing with rude snippy disrespectful clerks, who pick and choose who they are going to be polite to. Harris teeter here had sharp edges under shelving so in reaching for an item with no upper clearance, it tore my skin and cut me. They said they were unaware of the situation and denied me any compensation. How are they conducting health department and Dept of Agriculture inspection requirements and not know? Truth is they couldn't be and not be aware of the split, broken and sharp metal from damage, as well as filth. This is a classic example how a large regional grocery chain doesn't take responsibility for situations like these. If they don't know that numerous sharp pieces of metal are sticking out in ways that can injure people when they peruse vegetables, how exactly are they handling their produce? It sickens me that these stores are managed like this. There are too many sporas etc. now this kind of stuff. Found the shelving was also filthy. Some of these stores follow rules designed to protect us. Harris Teeter? "We didn't know there was a problem." I still have a scar center forearm. Looks horrible. Wish I could post pics of the conditions there and on my arm. Didn't find this at Publix, Lowe's Foods, Lidles, Aldi, Lowe's Foods or Whole Foods. With that being said, this is no pharmacy like no other, as you can see from my pictures, it is full of local products, everything from jams & Jellies to locally made chocolate. This is a specialty pharmacy, so if you are coming here, they likely made the prescription in-house. When I spoke to the pharmacist before, he was very knowledgeable and talked to me like a person, not another customer in line. Everyone here is very friendly and easy-going. It seems that no one has a bad day here, because everyone is chipper and smiling. There is a great deal of parking, but they are in a odd little location, but Google maps will take you directly to their door. I do not come here often, but when I do, I always enjoy my time within the store. They also have a whole host of wholistic products to test and try and I will be looking into those the next time I go back!
