Upon inquiring, clerk appeared to be doing me favor stating the price. Found the prices thru out the store to be very high. When picking up RX, I asked why the price was so high? (Insurance on file.) I paid the price requested. Staff was clueless as to why the price was higher than another Walgreens. I never had a counseling about my medication by the pharmacist. Your staff appeared unfriendly. Years ago, I could drop off a prescription at the Walmart Pharmacy and it would be ready within an…read morehour. I would do my shopping, and then pick up the prescription afterwards. Nowadays, I have to call in the prescription and it takes at least 36 hours for it to be filled. Sometimes, one prescription will be ready but not the other. And, I usually have to wait in a long line. However, the employees are always friendly and helpful. They seem especially attuned to us old people, and they are patient in repeating if I did not hear (especially through the plexiglass). They do things as quickly as they can without making mistakes. I also get my flu shot at Walmart every year, and I have found the medical staff to be competent and pleasant. The pharmacy employees are on their feet all day, and constantly looking at computer screens. Their feet and eyes must get tired. I think they deserve some appreciation. When you stand in line at Walmart, you realize how many people are suffering in some way. Everyone will get old. I did.

I don't like the long line (not all the time, but often) but they always get my prescription right, even when they have to transfer it or get a refill authorization from my doc. The main thing they could do to improve is get more help during the snowbird season.
