This writer is no stranger to Walgreens stores. Needed a RX while on vacation. There was no sign on the pop located by the front door. Upon inquiring, clerk appeared to be doing me favor stating the price. Found the prices thru out the store to be very high. When picking up RX, I asked why the price was so high? (Insurance on file.) I paid the price requested. Staff was clueless as to why the price was higher than another Walgreens. I never had a counseling about my medication by the pharmacist. Your staff appeared unfriendly. Unwilling to help customers. The whole vibe in there was negative. When I come back, and need anything...it will be CVS. read more

They only open one lane 99% at drive through. I come through drive through due to limited mobility. The average wait time is 30 to 45 minutes every time. She there there is 2 cars in front if me or 5. If the patient is having problems they should be asked to come in to resolve the problem if they are able to. Spending 20 minutes or more on 1 car is a disservice to everyone waiting in line read more

Had set up appt for my shot and my son pick up medication regular there the pharmacist BO did not know what she was doing after 40 min telling me I had another insurance than my son and then that my son did not have any when we pick up medication there for him never for me showing her my cards then she tells me he has a copay for flu shot every year we get don't pay I don't pay but he would I canceled and went other Walgreens 24th no issue at all !! I heard veterans with proper ID from the VA are eligible for a free flu shots from Walgreens. The information also gets uploaded to the VA. So I said, "why not?" And went to get it done.... I went during lunchtime. The one who administered the shot told me usually the pharmacy line is 20 deep. A great idea as I only waited 20 minutes from filling out forms to the actual shot. Normally I have had a good experiences at Walgreens. However today was the exception. The men's restroom was the filthiest restroom I have been in. The hallway leading to the restroom was also dirty. When I inquired about it ,the floor mgr. said that corporate has stooped doing landscape maintenance and that her store employees had to clean the outside. Apparently she has no control over inside store cleanliness. She pointed the flooring, which was supposed to be stripped and waxed was also dirty and shiny at all. To put it lightly I was appalled and disgusted. The store needs a new manager or corporate needs to come to Yuma for a visit read more

Pharmacy is closed supposedly between 1:30 and 2 PM however arrived at 1:20 and they refused to give a flu shot even though there were quite a few people there. Terrible customer service... very disappointed and annoyed. Corporate office should look into this issue. read more

Customer Review, Would like to thank Carlos at the S. 4th ave. store in Yuma Arizona last week. When we came in the store with thought what a great guy helping out a new guy since the line was backed up but then when we were paying for our groceries which we do twice a week. We just want to thank Carlos for profiling us and the very poor work ethics, attitude, and excuse when I asked him to ask his manager to look at your card reader. Instead I got an excuse that its new when I struggled inserting the card or taking it out. A tall sweet man then took me to the products I needed and was so friendly and polite, I needed this sweet attention because I don't feel good and want to cry. I needed refills for my husband and I which required transfer of prescription from a Rite Aid in Idaho. This has to be done from this pharmacy's end. The pharmacy was gracious and efficient in obtaining and filling the prescriptions. The store was clean and well organized, and not too impacted by supply chain problems, although some items were not available for this reason. I am glad I used their store. read more

The pharmacy manager kesegofetse ketshabille ( at least that's the card I got) probably meant to Hang up the intercom phone but he didn't. He proceeded to mock me and make fun of me with his coworkers not thinking. I could hear him. I am applaud at how he treated me. Avoid this location if you are in a hurry. Stopped by to pick up a few things as I wanted to avoid the long Wal-Mart lines (like their ads claim). Their register system went down and took 30 minutes for anyone to fix. Their credit machine was not working and the cashier tried to blame me. He spent more time yelling "Welcome to Walgreens" to every person walking in the door than trying to repair the register problems for the 10 people waiting in line. read more

Dropped off scripts after waiting in line for 20 minutes- told would be ready in 11/2 hours. When I came back the clerk told me he couldn't get it through my insurance. I gave him the number to call on card- the same card I gave to your front counter clerk, miss spacey. He said to give him another 1 1/2 hours. When I left, I called the same number on the back of my ins. Card and was advised that my group, bin, and ID numbers were still active. I inquired if there had been any claims from this Walgreens today and was advised that nothing had been attempted. YOU LIED TO ME WALGREENS CLERK. I came back 2 hours later oil to be asked to come back 15 minutes later. One trip to the counter and three trips through your drive through for a total time of 4 1/2 hours for 2 scripts. You are the worst pharmacy I've ever seen in my travels of 44 States. read more

Went to drop off a prescription. Was told to stand in line which would be approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Rude staff. It's the only 24 hour pharmacy in Yuma so you might be stuck with it. Otherwise, avoid it. read more

I don't appreciate being hung up on for a billing issue, at this store. After explaining the issue I was transferred to someone who promptly hung up on me. I called the Walgreens number on their website and it took 30 minutes to pay a simple bill. In total I had to talk with five separate people to finally pay a bill. read more

This place is absolute garbage. The pharmacy staff is rude, unprofessional, and should even consider wearing appropriately cleaned uniforms. They gave me the complete run around as I was trying to pick up a prescription, failed at explaining insurance policies properly, and didn't even make it known to me that I could have simply paid cash for my prescription. It took 2 hours of going back and forth to figure out things that could be simply explained if they would have taken the time to even be helpful. I never go to this Walgreens, I use the one in the Foothills (which is amazing), but spent all night in town at ER, so was hoping to just fill it so I could get home, as it is near the hospital. NEVER AGAIN. The pharmacy TECH (barely qualified) felt the need to even get attitudinal and tell me that the pain meds my Obstetrician (highly qualified) prescribed for pain to help with hyper-stimulated ovaries due to fertility meds shouldn't be taken when I mentioned the urgency and fact that I couldn't take the ones I had previously picked up from an ER doctors script considering I may be pregnant. She spoke in a condescending tone suggesting I was just trying to hoard pain meds. Not the case. However, I trust my doctors. I don't think he's trying to harm me or a potential fetus. Point being, just make the drive somewhere else. These people were pulled from the bottom of the barrel and management needs to do an evaluation and also random drug test. This is the WORST pharmacy in town! Their customer service sucks BIG TIME! I called to talk to the pharmacy and of course got the "call center" first; they couldn't help me with the problem so they transferred me to the store pharmacy. I was on hold for 30 minutes and then was hung up on! I called back and got the call center again, told them what happened and they transferred me again...long story short I was on hold another 30 minutes and disconnected again 2 more times! I called back to get the complaint number and they had me on hold again...I finally hung up as it was after 11:00pm at night and had to get some sleep after trying for 2 hours to get thru to a pharmacist. This happened again tonight, so I called the store manager to tell them about this problem and Sonya told me that they don't have enough staff to answer the phone...huh??? This is a big customer service issue and she didn't even care enough to do anything about it. told me I should call the company and them maybe they can do something to help. O M G!
