Every single person working the window is quick, competent, professional, friendly, and efficient. If there is ever a line, which is rare, it never seems to be due to the employees, but the customers, and as soon as that person is finished, the line clears right up again. Any time I've had some issue that prevented an under-two-minutes pickup of my prescription, it was due to something other than the people at this location, like the insurance company. In several years of using this pharmacy, I have never had a problem caused by them. That is a huge contrast to when I used both another pharmacy company in the area which would tell me my Rx was ready when it wasn't, and another Walgreens at a different location where it took almost an hour for them to figure out how to put my insurance info in their system. These people at this location clearly take pride in their jobs, and it shows. I recommend them to anyone I hear complain about a pharmacy. Oh and I did go inside once for a covid vaccination, and they did that well, too. But I almost never go inside, so I can't really speak as confidently about that part.

Other depts have people on cell phones or just hanging out! This entirely defeats the purpose of pickup well mostly since at this store you would still be waiting for someone to check you out. At the Metacom Ave CVS in Warren they place pickup orders in a kiosk for pickup making it convenient. The pharmacy showed a prescription as processing and soon available for two months. I had some extra time so decided to quiz the pharmacist about this puzzle and they told me that EVERY day they order same medication and it was NEVER available to them. Meanwhile I had a script for same at Walgreens the first month CVS flaked out and through some miracle they were able to obtain it. I transferred the Walgreens script to Lifespan Pharmacy for month two and they had it within 24 hrs BUT after my conversation with the CVS pharmacist CVS placed a HOLD on my medication through my insurance so Lifespan had to call to have them release it. Beyond belief. Pharmacist from CVS had stood there with a straight face and lied continuously about the med being ordered unsuccessfully on a daily basis. CVS is the biggest PBM in the US. They can get a med before other pharmacies if they actually order it. Wait it gets better. Once I had a script that they overcharged me for so about 6 days afterward I went back to obtain a refund which was not an issue HOWEVER the CVS system saw the refund date as the date of the script being obtained by me. This medication is a very low level sleeping med so its the law not to dole it out even a day early which I am aware of and its not an issue. When I returned to the day for my refill I was told I would have to wait 6 more days to get a refill. Took me a minute to figure out their foul up - tried to explain it but NO, I went home to get the actual bottle to show I wasn't a liar. To add insult to injury this CVS is located at the worst red light in all of the East Bay. Getting in and out of there is a flipping nightmare. Stay clear and hope they close this location.

They do everything in their power to inconvenience you -- first they took away the ability to speak with the pharmacist on the phone about a year ago. Just recently they added this self scan at the pharmacist, so you get to stand there awkwardly as you put in your info when you used to be able to just tell them. Why even have people working there at all? How hard would it be to add some automation. How is there not a way for people to take lunch shifts instead of the whole thing shutting down in the middle of the day. I hope CVS goes out of business, I hope the employees find a better employer. All the cost saving measures CVS has put in to pad the shareholders bottom dollar at the expense of people's health -- they should be ashamed.

Script changed and when I went to refill it they gave me the wrong med. We took it back and got the correct one. Next time we wanted to make sure it didnt happen again by spelling the name of the medication. We got 6 letters in and the girl on the phone said I got it..all set. Well they refilled the wrong script again. This time.when we returned it we were told it was our fault and we should have checked before we left and if this happened again, they were not going to be able to give us the right medication.I have never in my life stood at the counter and checked my scripts before I left. Maybe cause I assumed the pharmacist knew what they were doing. Crazy , I know. Well today I called in the same script and made sure several times it was the right one. I called at 930 and its an eye drop so basically u just need to slap a label on the box. I showed up at 125 and was told it wasn't ready. The girl behind the counter was surprised that it was not ready.But made sure she told me that the pharmacy was closing for lunch at three thirty and they were not going to be able to have it Ready anytime soon for me. I explained to her that I was heading out of town and really needed to have this done, and again, she told me, well, we're closing in three minutes.And we really don't have time to get that ready for you right now. Needless to say I was pretty upset. I spoke with the front soupvisor who was very helpful. I explained to him what was happening.And I also explained to him that this was the second time that i've had a problem with the pharmacy that they had refilled a prescription incorrectly twice. He said he was not aware of that. He went in the back to check to see if there was something.He could do to expedite my prescription So that I could get on the road in a timely fashion. He told me that they did not have the med in the store and had to order it, and it would not be in until the following day. He began talking to me about how it's different when the doctor's office calls in the prescription.And I said, no, that is not What happened. I called in the refill.He said, well, that's what they told me in the back that it was the doctor's office that called it in I told him, well, they're lying to you. That is not what happened. .He apologized and told me that once I got to my destination which was out of state, that I could try And locate a walgreens, close to where I was and possibly get it from them.They would be able to look into the computer.See what I needed.And if they had it, I would be able to get it. I clarified that meant any state that had a walgreens, and he said, absolutely. I leave, go about my day jump on the highway.Heading to my destination.I'm on the road about forty minutes.And I get 2 text message from walgreens , telling me that my prescription was ready. Now, I think i'm in the twilight zone. How can a prescription be ready if they don't even have it in the pharmacy to give me. I get on the phone, and I call, I speak to the same front supervisor who told me they didn't have the medication. And he checked and well, lo and behold, they did have the medication. He just didn't look in the right spot. Now if you recall he did tell me that whoever he spoke with told him that the doctor's office had called in the prescription.So was this yet another lie Told to me. When he came back on the phone, he apologized profusely, saying that that was all on him.And that he didn't look in the right spot and apparently it had already been pulled, but hadn't had the label put on it yet.And he took a hundred percent blame for giving me misinformation. I told him I no longer trust this pharmacy.I no longer trust the people that work at the pharmacy.There's been multiple times i've had problems.And now i've been lied to twice in the same day.

In recent months I call and left a message to cancel her delivery because she was in the hospital . Tom called personally just a few hours later to ask what had happened and how she was. Upon her release from rehab I called with only a few days notice with new medications and a very small window in which to have it delivered. I called one Wednesday and was told friday but they had them there on thursday . As the primary care giver for my mom I am so appreciative when I find ppl who will help me and make my.life easier. I am so greatful for the wonderful service they provide.
