We're trying to learn to better follow Christ together, to study God's word, and make a difference in the lives of people in Cypress and beyond. I've driven a long distance only to find the church at capacity, with some guests having to remain outside. The church-wide Bible Studies offered are great (Wednesday evenings) and the periodic Communion Celebrations are not to be missed (ReUnion) - held every 6-8 weeks on Wednesday evenings. They are a wonderful time of fellowship, community and reverent treatment of the Holy Sacrament. Good stuff! Pastor Mike is terrific! He and the Leadership team make sure everyone feels welcome and "at home" in our church. I am now a member (Baptized for the 1st time this past October!) and I am so happy to be part of this church family. Please come and visit us - soon!

You can tell it's a gift from father to daughter for following into his footsteps. Not many people there but it's definitely growing. It's time for families to stick together and as parents set an example for our kids that they will want to follow in our footsteps. Part of exploring a new church is wanting to see how your children interact with other kids in their class. My husband and I were both excited to witness this after service when we were going to pick him up. Unfortunately they have a 1 parent only rule at pick up, so I sent my husband and was redirected to the "exit" to wait for them. I understand rules for "safety" but it would be more welcoming to have a one time exception for first time guest who have not experienced their children at your church. We (both parents) would like to witness for ourselves if our children feel safe and see that excitement on their face at pick up. Our friend spoke to the lady and she was not very welcoming at all and just kept saying it was their rule. Simply not what I would expect at a church to be honest. I need to be able to trust strangers with my child, and this experience felt very unwelcoming in my opinion.

Come sample some of the home made bread and Indian food . There is usually Italian sausage and homemade salsa as well. And don't forget about the fresh produce, such as tomatoes, peppers, onions and cucumbers to name a few. Today they were also selling small pots of herbs and vegetable plants. I ended up buying some small cucumbers, a home made wedding greeting card and a multi-use scrubber that is non scratch and can be washed in the dish washer or washing machine. See pic. I have attended both services and find that I leave each service feeling joyful and restored!! I find the seating in the sanctuary (i.e., traditional Protestant format) more comfortable than the New Song; however, the contemporary music allows you to sit very little - you can get your spiritual groove on!! I plan to attend as often as my schedule allows!!
