In fact, I forgot the last time I saw a gym, especially in a major city, for that little per month. After my "gym tour" with the one of their very kind staff members, I knew I had found my new local spot for workouts. The gym itself is quite big. It has two levels, with most cardio machines being on the first floor and the weights/dumbbells on the second level. I've been going for a few months now, and these are some of my favorite things: - Always clean - Lots of locker space - All machines have been working flawlessly - They follow Covid-19 protocols, so certain machines are blocked off - 24 hour access (!!!!) - Lots of machines, so I never have to wait around to use a tread, for example - Doesn't get too crowded even during peak hours For $15, I get a LOT more than what I expected. I can cancel at anytime and I didn't even have to pay a fee upfront. They do charge you a $39 one-time fee during the first 30 days of signing up, which apparently locks in your membership price in case of any increases in the future. You can also upgrade your membership to their "premium" version which includes tanning, access to the Theragun and a few other perks.

This gym is in a strip mall that appears to be connected to apartments. Never been an issue, except sometimes when you go in the bathroom you can smell the very strong stench of cigarette smoke. I usually just hold my breath and deal. Over the past few months (6 months maybe?), the ceiling has collapsed in this gym, which has made for pretty messy and uncomfortable workouts. I get it- construction stuff sucks- but it looks like they haven't done any work to fix it. It didn't really bother me until today. The neighbors' cigarette smoke is now pouring directly into the gym. The entire gym smells like cigarettes because of whatever is happening with the vents and ceiling. I can't deal with smoke as it is, but even more so when I'm heaving on the Stairmaster. Like what? I really hope they fix this because this has been such a lovely gym. The pilates reformer classes alone are worth dropping by for a killer workout at a reasonable price point. The pilates instructors are all wonderful and their workout/instruction styles vary. Maggy and Cate are two of the best pilates instructors I've ever come across - I take their classes and I walk out feeling like I am both a jelly roll and also the strongest person on planet earth lol. This is the premiere pilates studio in the area - can't tell me otherwise. I appreciate the variety of other classes (yoga flow, barre, dance, strength & conditioning) to make sure you cross-train your body. I supposedly paused my membership for a few months because I would be out of town. Sure enough, the next payment was deducted from my bank account! I even signed a document in person there at the gym to pause this account. I'm not sure if the problem is incompetence or greed (or both). Anytime Fitness needs make it easier to do business with and to cancel or pause memberships with more confidence and trust.

There is a sauna in both the co-ed section and in the women's locker room There is a BIG jacuzzi hot tub that comfortably seats eight adults Cons: The gym space is cramped and only has a few treadmills. The treadmills are also tight in together so it feels like you are WAY too close to the person on the next treadmill The TV screens for the treadmills are mounted onto the wall. When you turn one off or try to change a channel, you often end up messing up someone else's screen While the robes are SUPER luxe, they are really for spa services and not at all for wearing in and out of the hot tub. There are towels for that, but hotel guests seem to have terry robes for the jacuzzi Overall, I am definitely happy with the hot tub as I have an almost constant interest in floating up to my chin in hot water during the winter. And that measley little five bucks grants you all day access to all of their facilities. Want to shoot some hoops? Included. Want to pump some iron? Included. Want to use the dance studio to shake a tail feather? Included. Want to hop in the shower and slap someone in the butt with your towel? I think that's included, too, but so is the harassment lawsuit.
