In fact, I forgot the last time I saw a gym, especially in a major city, for that little per month. After my "gym tour" with the one of their very kind staff members, I knew I had found my new local spot for workouts. The gym itself is quite big. It has two levels, with most cardio machines being on the first floor and the weights/dumbbells on the second level. I've been going for a few months now, and these are some of my favorite things: - Always clean - Lots of locker space - All machines have been working flawlessly - They follow Covid-19 protocols, so certain machines are blocked off - 24 hour access (!!!!) - Lots of machines, so I never have to wait around to use a tread, for example - Doesn't get too crowded even during peak hours For $15, I get a LOT more than what I expected. I can cancel at anytime and I didn't even have to pay a fee upfront. They do charge you a $39 one-time fee during the first 30 days of signing up, which apparently locks in your membership price in case of any increases in the future. You can also upgrade your membership to their "premium" version which includes tanning, access to the Theragun and a few other perks.

The crowd is 95% female, but don't let that dissuade you if you aren't - it's a very welcoming group of students (and teachers). I felt like I fit in right away and am glad to add my yang to the yin. If you don't know anything about cycling (like me, at first), they will go over how to set up your bike. And, if you forget, they will more than happily go over it with you the next (or next, or next) time. You will get a great workout, listen to some awesome music and be in a community full of friendly people. What more could you want? Only drawback is that classes fill up QUICKLY, so you may have to reserve well in advance - and they do have a penalty if you don't "unreserve" within a set amount of time (I think 10 hours, and it definitely isn't enough time as a lot can happen within 10 hours). But that's the only negative in a vast ocean of positives.

I am a full time Women's Lacrosse Coach, at the High club-level & Collegiately Coaching. I do have a CFSC and do it on the side. Mission "found out" after looking at my social media, and told me via voicemail, I cannot attend here anymore due to also being a certified strength coach on the side. I am far from a yoga teacher, hot yoga helped me in my own training career, I would never turn away a Yoga Teacher if they came to me for strength training. Awful mindset tearing down other woman who should respect each others careers.

What keeps me going are the variety of classes offered each week and the awesome instructors. The classes are grouped: Strength, Cycle, Barre and Yoga with different classes offered in each group (e.g. Strength - ROW, Barre - Tone, Yoga - Sculpt, etc.). In addition to the "regular" classes there are fun themed classes, and classes that support local charitable organizations, too! The class schedule is different each week, but every day there are classes offered early in the morning (5:45/6am), mid morning (7-9am), lunchtime, and afternoon/evening (4-5:45pm). There are even classes on the weekends. No matter your schedule, you can find a time to make it to MISSION. I love that they have an app which makes it easy to schedule and plan out classes each week. Personally, I've done home based workouts, Planet Fitness, 1:1 training, classes at other gyms, and nothing compares to how I feel after working out at MISSION. If you want a class-based gym with highly engaging and enthusiastic instructors who will push you to achieve your highest fitness potential, literally the cleanest facilities I've ever seen at a gym, an in-house cafe for a post-workout smoothie (Nourish), classes that are so fun they sometimes make you forget you're working out, and a truly wonderful community, come to MISSION. This is a gym focused on making you both physically and mentally STRONG. Even if you are just starting out on your workout journey, the top notch instructors at MISSION always offer modifications that will make you feel confident completing the class. Not to mention, the rest of the "team" in class will be there to cheer you on! I could go on, but why don't you check it out yourself? If you're a cardio-loving dancing queen, try Cycle. If you want to push yourself to the limit and feel sore af the next day, try any of the Strength classes. Barre and Yoga tend to be a little lighter, focused on smaller muscle groups, but are sneaky tough and you will be feeling it! I promise you won't regret trying MISSION :)
