If you go there instead of a peaceful place you are confronted with people asking for money and shady characters lurking around. They had tennis courts but they are not very well kept and could really use a bit if maintenance. This park need to be cleaned up and the trees need to be cut immediately!!! NOW HAVING SAID THAT..... The Frisbee golf set up is a plus and could be radical if they just fixed it up a bit. I met some really nice l students there that taught me a bit about disk golf and even gave me some disk to take home and practice with!!! This place is really a shame, I'm going to be coming back so I can hopefully be able to write a better review.

I am definitely surprised to see a Disc Golf Course like this so close to downtown but it's nice to know that it should be getting more players involved in the sport. It was peaceful, a little bit of a terrain but still well maintained. We saw several walkers and trail runners along the way. Very safe for kids too. But the back portion crossed through a disc golf field and then onto part of the SFA campus and just wasn't as pretty to go through. Great trail running place, and definitely a trail or recommend walking if you're wanting to see Pine Country, but I probably would stop before the disc golf area and head back.

We came with a group of three families who all arrived separately in three RVs...and three separate versions of the same story: rude, flat, and unaccommodating. We also had a prepaid 2-night reservation made for a friend that we needed to cancel. But despite our multiple efforts to call ahead and cancel (NO ANSWER...three different people, various times a day, multiple attempts), she would only refund one night with no explanation as to why we couldn't get refunded for both nights when it was not our fault for not being able to reach their office before actually arriving. Just sad that a beautiful place like this has such a grumpy gatekeeper. Would be quite a different experience with someone who liked their job and working with people.
