Cyndi is the absolute best. My partner and I were first-time homebuyers who were looking in the LA area (particularly on the east side, though we ended up finding the place we loved in the North Hollywood area). We're in our 30s and both in the film industry, which we realized required a special level of knowledge when it comes to buying a house. The first time we talked to her, we ended up chickening out and didn't come back to her to start looking for a whole year. In that time she was never pushy, she just made herself available for when we were ready. When we had our first real conversation with her, she was up front and honest about how tough and emotional the process could be - and that if we get anxious or stressed that it's super normal and something we could overcome. It was such a reassuring place to start from. She also told us in the beginning that there were no dumb questions and she truly meant it. Patience. Knowledge. Dedicated. Those are the three words that come to mind when I think of Cyndi (with an emphasis on patience). I recently purchased my first home. Besides being a first time homebuyer, I am an attorney, anal, skeptical and not trusting. Cyndi made this process a lot easier. Cyndi was the third agent that I had gone to, after a few not so good experiences. By the time I had reached her, I was already overwhelmed and disappointed in this process. Our first conversation was 45 minutes long. She took the time to explain everything to me and was honest about how this whole process would work. She first asked me what my goals were in buying a home. I wanted to get a home in an area that would have good appreciation, for the best price. That is what I wanted and this is what she stuck to; despite on multiple multiple occasions, me trying to veer of course. Being a first time home buyer and having a certain budget, I was limited. She focused my results and gave me her opinion on the areas that would be good to look. She kept me on track. When I wanted to veer off into looking at home because they "looked pretty," she reminded me of what my goal was. What I really admire about Cyndi is her honesty and not telling you what you want to hear. She will always tell you how it is; which, you may not always want to hear, but I always appreciate. I truly do not want someone who just gives me a line to make me happy. Cyndi and I had some very intense discussions, not because she did anything wrong, but because I pushed back on her and wanted to know why this or that. Often times I vented to her about my frustrations with this process, people not responding and people being unreasonable and she always let me talk. Which helped, A LOT. Cyndi makes herself readily available. If you call/message her and she cannot talk, she will let you know. The time she spends with you, is your time. She is not constantly on her phone talking to someone else or messaging someone else. Whether you are buying a million dollar home or a small little condo, Cyndi treats you with the same time and respect. With the first few realtors, I felt as though I wasn't a big fish for them and that I was more of an inconvenience. Not with Cyndi. Cyndi is by your side the entire way and will stand up for you. Cyndi is by your side after your home closes. She doesn't disappear, simply because the deal is done. I have asked her many questions that come with a first time home buyer after close and she has always answered. She has great referrals as well, if you need help with something. She doesn't seem to have a moral compass. Our experience with her was that she was rude and pushy. I feel she is inhumane. One of the worst experiences of my families life. Stop! You have found your real estate agent! Cyndi is everything and more than a real estate agent should be. She is a total professional and a woman of her word! No matter what happens Cyndi always says "DONT WORRY, I WILL TAKE CARE OF IT" and she does! Many things, totally out of our control, happened from loan issues to termites and Cyndi literally took care of EVERYTHING. She knows and takes care of literally everything from a-z. Seriously, we passed on several properties because she thought they were overpriced. She never tries to up sell you out of your price range and makes you feel as if you are her only client. She is always punctual and seems to be available 24 hours a day. I have had problems in the past with real estate agents that were too distracted and busy with family and child rearing issues that I had to constantly work around their personal schedules and repeated personal emergencies etc. Why not have a real estate agent that makes her job priority one? Cyndi loves real estate and that comes through when dealing with her. She never gets tired of looking for and showing you properties. Also,she surrounds herself with total professionals in her office. For example, ANGIE is her real estate assistant and is a TOTAL PROFESSIONAL! Angie is friendly and extremely efficient. I sent Angie an e-mail and by the time picked up the phone to call her just to let her know to check her e-mail, she had already read it and e-mailed me back the information I needed for my mortgage! Believe me, office support is crucial. If you can't reach Cyndi, Angie is there and she has the knowledge and authority to get things done.
