He is probably one of the most incompetent doctors I've ever had to deal with…read more He cut me off of my klonopin prescription COLD TURKEY that I had been on for 7 years and when I told him I was having protracted withdrawal symptoms and becoming progressively disabled, he insisted that the "window of withdrawal was long over" multiple times. He also kept trying to feed me gabapentin, haloperidol and Thorazine even though I told him from the first appointment that I've had horrid reactions to all the antipsychotics I've been on and gabapentin doesn't work well for me. He doesn't listen. He only cares that he is right. He told me I should try to find another provider. I met with one but was told I was "drug seeking" when I explained my predicament because he had written something along those lines in the prescription monitoring program. This wasn't the case, I was trying to get the minimum dose of my klonopin back and be seen more often (not once a month) so that I could go back to work. Also he did not fill out the paperwork for the DMV so that I could get my license switched before he left his practice. Worst care I have ever received. Mainehealth in general sucks. They care more about taking you off controlled substances at any cost than they do about your well-being. I had to step down from the job I had just started. I am bedridden most of the month and now am unable to get a license. Nice job Dr Wolfrum. Honestly this whole practice needs to be shut down and he needs to lose his license.

This place is a nightmare…read more I went in because I was having PTSD flashbacks. They misdiagnosed me as schizophrenic, put me on horrible medications that made it so that I was unable to pee, and forced a court order to make me take the medications. This has done permanent damage to my bladder. They say the average stay is 7-10 days, but regularly hold patients for multiple months at a whim. I was bullied by multiple patients, some of whom fought in the hallways or destroyed on-site property. The doctors were quick to impose their own political beliefs on me in order to discredit how I felt about the situation. Some nurses were sympathetic, others openly made fun of patients or pushed strange personal beliefs. Several nurses openly described to me that "the system is broken." When my parents brought things in to cheer me up (prayer beads, art supplies) they were denied randomly. I was taken off medication without being notified or having anyone to consult. Therapy was non-existent, except for group therapy, which was very repetitive and inadequate CBT. We were only allowed outside once a day, where I was harassed by other patients. The only "correctional" value this place has is scaring patients enough into behaving, because of the torturous threat of returning to a place like this.

Due to the way their infrastructure was set up to accommodate the blue collar citizen that works full-time. At co-recover Dr. Edward Bilotti has done everything within his power to help me with my sobriety and maintaining my sobriety. I recommend anyone fighting addiction to co-recovery. Because it's a positive experience with a physician that would do anything within his power to help you succeed with your sobriety.
