I ran into Cynthia at an event in downtown Sarasota. She was showing off her amazing artwork at a local shop. I learned so much about henna and now have a beautiful free hand (original) piece that she made up on the spot. Amazing! Check out the beautiful design immediately after and about 18 hours later! read more

What can I say? Cynthia is more creative than amazing, and she is truly an amazing artist. Cynthia looks at a design, looks at your hand or arm, or whatever, and then draws (freehand). Just when you thought the design was fantastic it is even more amazing how fast and fabulously she draws and the gorgeous finished product. read more

Established in 2002.

I started doing Henna professionally in 2002 and have worked with some wonderful companies over the years traveling all over Southern California. I have recently moved back home to Sarasota, Fl to be close to family and I look forward to sharing this fascinating and beautiful art form of Henna with many people on the Suncoast.

Meet the Business Owner: Cynthia M.

Being an artist all my life, I fell in love with Henna Body Art when I moved to CA in 2001. I trained under an established artist by trading her massage for instruction! I love this art form more every year. It is so beautiful and calming for both artist and client. I am now branching out into doing Henna Art on things as well. I also love doing anything glittery, especially custom glitter tattoos.

I also paid $108+ $20 tip & they charged me a service fee because I used my Debjt Card. The Vibe is decent .. I thought once they told me it was $108 over the phone that I would be getting what I paid for .. maybe like spa treatment walk in get offered a bottle of water maybe even a sitting area. But no that was not included in the $108 fee . The esthetician who did my wax ,was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on the community. She also made me feel very comfortable. But the service I paid for was not met. I still have several strands of hair which at this point is sad. They also claim they are using a special gelled wax to prevent pain. They used a 10 minute topical that is a waste of time because I still felt the pain of the hair being removed from my skin! It was also a weird experience she asked me to go on my knees to complete my wax .. I've been getting waxed about 15 years now and never had I got on my knees .. so I really didn't understand the method but hey!! The more areas the better!! But yeah no I still have hair in that area too lol.. I truly had high hopes, even after the topical and it was not painless .. and not receiving like a 5 start treatment for a $108 purchase . I just knew when I got home it would feel like butter but no I'm left with hair and tons of powder . I even had wax still attached to my skin. I guess if you like wasting money this is a great place. But unfortunately I will not be returning.

I was able to show up early and decorate the boat and set up food, Coree and Michael were so helpful with everything including even helping us set up our food drinks and decorations.
