I have driven past this place for the last 20 years and always thought it was so iconic, this little super thin building in a random location. And with prom season, I finally had a reason to stop in! Firstly, the smell is DIVINE as soon as you enter. Maria was so friendly and talkative in the best way. I could have stayed and chatted all afternoon, and I'm not even a people person LOL. I ordered a bout/corsage combo, with sweetheart roses. They were a lot smaller than I thought they would be for the price, but I also have no reference of what these would normally cost (I paid $60) so I will not use that against their review. The flowers were beautiful, the corsage arrangement was exactly what we'd hoped for. They were ready on time as promised. I placed an order with Teleflora for a bouquet of flowers for my sister's birthday. This shop fullfileed the order. I am not happy neither with the service, nor the flowers. Let's start with the service. The Happy Birthday balloon I had ordered with the flowers never made it to her house - and the delivery guy flat out lied to me about it. The balloon flew away from his hands (we saw that from our window) but he pretended he didn't know I had ordered one when I called him to ask about it. They offered to bring it the day after, which didn't make any sense since it would be a day after the birthday. The manager/owner of the store started laughing when I told him this. I asked for a refund which I received. Regarding the flowers, I had ordered a premium bouquet of blue flowers, since my sister likes that color. There were no blue flowers included in the bouquet! The size of the bouquet was no where near a Premium arrangement and many flowers were way past their prime and wilted in a couple of days. I have ordered from many florists in the past, and this is by far the worst service and quality of flowers I have ever seen. read more

I called and ordered a $50 flower arrangement this is what they gave me about 4 lilies and 3 roses and mini carnations (which are not expensive flowers) the arrangement had literally nothing out of the extraordinary and left me very disappointed as this flower shop carries beautiful flowers and has been around for a while. Overall very expensive, staff is nice (florist not so much) she did not like when i told her to exchange some flowers in the arrangement!!! After all it is my money and I am paying for it... At first glance the store seems like a regular flower shop. But when you drive past a building countless times on your way back from work, and then it acknowledges that you haven't entered it for whatever reason with a snarky remark posted on its side saying "you've been driving past us for years, come see why we're still here" it almost feels like a personal challenge. And that challenge was accepted. So one day I needed flowers for my mother's birthday and decided I would give this mom and pop shop a shot and I was not disappointed. Not only did they deliver the most beautiful flowers, every employee clearly enjoyed the work they were doing. It was a great place to get flowers from and they even deliver! I'll be getting some flowers for mothers day this weekend and they are definitely going to be my first stop. read more

Everyone who works here is so kind and caring. I live in Texas and almost every time I came to Miami to visit my grandma I would bring her flowers from this shop. My grandma recently passed away, and I spoke with them over the phone and email about arranging a standing spray floral arrangement for her inurnment service. I sent them an inspirational photo and asked about certain details and to incorporate my grandma's favorite flowers and colors. I always get nervous about things like this and they treated me so well. After their closing hours (night before my grandma's service), they texted me a photo of the beautiful arrangement to make sure I liked it, and I can tell they put so much effort into it and sensed how much I cared. After such a horrible, horrible experience searching for a flower place, I had one key thing in mind: nice customer service. They absolutely, 100% have it here. It's run by two older ladies that are extremely friendly and were willing to work my budget completely. I went in a little frustrated after my first florist experience tried to rip me off. She brought me over to their computer, flipped through their common arrangements and asked me what I liked. They have flowers in plain sight to look at and choose from as well. The prices are affordable and they were even helpful when I needed to call and cancel something from my order. They also have a cute section of gifts: jewelry, pashminas, clutches etc for only $10. Nothing caught my eye but some of it was pretty nice too. But you really can't beat such amazing service. Exactly what I was looking for and such a pleasure to work with. So happy I found this cute place and remembered their cute quotes they always have posted outside. I have been a customer of Cypress Gardens for 20+ years. Why? Their prices are reasonable, and they offer awesome customer service. I have been dealing with the same two ladies for eons, and they are always very helpful and willing to work around your budget and preferences. On most visits, I purchase their $5 "love bunches". Two "love bunches" make an impressive bouquet, and the person on the receiving end would never guess you only spent $10. I have noticed that the flowers there are very fresh, and it isn't uncommon for them to last 2-3 weeks if cared for. Recently, we used them for my Grandmother's funeral, and the two large arrangements we ordered were absolutely gorgeous, and delivered on time. Cypress Gardens is the best! read more

We got our boss roses for boss' day. First of all, we thought it was taller and maybe came with a bow wrapped around it. We are not even 2 miles away from this place and they charged us a delivery fee of $10.00. The flowers were dry and brown around the edges. It was $62.99 for the arrangement and we ended up paying $78.00! For a tiny fish bowl that contained 16 roses in it. That's it. I could have paid $5.00 to the guy in the corner street for a dozen roses, gotten a bowl at the dollar store and put a gorgeous bow around it for less than $12.00. Rip off. Horrible customer service. Over priced. PREMIUM FLOWERS? Can you prove that anyway? Never ordering from this place again. read more

Sure roses are always good, but when I called them to order and deliver flowers for my 10th anniversary, I must say that it was painless. The man on the phone was patient and kind. I have been there before for a birthday arrangement and remembered him from then. This place is right across Sunset Drive and canal from my fathers old business, Anson Bros. Seafood. When I was a kid he used to bring home flowers for my mom for no reason than to make her feel good. The absolute worst bouquet of flowers I could envision for a young girl turning 11 years old. The flowers are such a deep, dark color it is almost depressing. And such an excessive amount of dark green filler, the deep purple just blends right in. All the flowers are the same height with absolutely no depth or height. It's dark, depressing and truly a disappointment when the flowers were intended to brighten her day. I placed a phone order to have flowers delivered to my mother who hasn't been well. I left the area a while ago, and needed to find a florist I could trust - someone I could call and say "I want to spend $X and it should have this that and this other thing," and trust that they wouldn't just charge me $X for a crappy bouquet.
