Quite cheap for the quality and the amount of food you get. Staff is very friendly. You should try the pizza once as well next to the typical mezze dishes. They are different from the traditional Italian pizzas and quite tasty! read more

In my case, I arrived at Centraal at about 9:15 PM and checked in across the street at the Hampton. The Desk Agent was not too hopeful that I'd find anything for dinner at that hour and directed me toward Chinatown. I spotted this place along the way and was glad I did. The staff were quite friendly and accommodating. I was hungry and opted for the Mixed Grill Schotel, which I chose to eat there. The facility was basic and not elegant but was clean and well kept. My dinner was very tasty and I had enough to take away for another meal. The value was quite good. With drink, my total bill was less than €15. I was happy with this deal. I'll look for this place again if I'm in central Antwerp.

Not every restaurants have English menu, so we tried our best. I had Belgium stew which was delicious. Beef was so tender and flavorful. Others were white fish and chicken which were also delicious. The staff is friendly with limited English skills. Seatings are limited and I little bit crowded. Food portions are not big, so I was good but not very full. We ordered an entrée to share (lollapalooza scampi) which looked and felt more like a dish than an entrée (very filling too, even for two). I would definitely go back, as there were many intriguing dishes on the menu ;) Staff is very friendly and helpful, atmosphere is cozy and romantic.

Lollapalooza is ge-weld-ig lekker eten én veel én lekker én.... Aanrader!

Welcomed in by a beautiful brick oven stove, friendly staff, and charming decor. Reminds me of an Italian restaurant in Manhattan. Not pretentious, simple, clean, and definitely worth remembering. I tend to steer clear of tourist trap restaurants in the busy De Keyserlei/ Central station area. However the location of the restaurant on Anneessensstraat 35 only adds to the appeal for me. Its very refreshing to find a truly good restaurant in such a busy area. The brick oven pizza is beautiful, fresh toppings and plenty to choose from so even my vegetarian friend was impressed with toppings like aubergine, artichoke, and gorgonzola to name only a few. The choice of salads were interesting and definitely had me curious to taste. I shared an antipasto, a pizza, and a carafe of house red wine with my friend We both left feeling pleased with our choices. She mentioned going back for a meal with her partner. Owners Daniel and Micky are wonderful hosts, its no wonder the place is always busy when I go!
