We were essentially refused service by the shopkeepers here. The two ladies working ignored us for a few minutes, working as to be understood. Finally the younger lady, visibly frustrated, began to take our order. She snapped at us for not speaking in french. We politely left. My thoughts, if you despise American tourists, fair. I would NEVER treat another human being unfairly or rudely like this lady did to our family. If she comes to America, we will be nice and welcoming. Same as most Parisians. We wanted something simple and seeing that their menu had a coffee and croissant/chocolate pastry special for Euro 2, we decided to just go with this place. The coffee was smooth but very small. We also got that salmon quiche which was only okay. Not a bad place to stop for a snack but wouldn't go out of my way to come here.
