He most definitely doesn't treat you like you just a number. I moved to Denver for 10 years and would fly back whenever I needed to see him yes to me he's that good. I'm back in New York so I carry on with him and trust me we have been through a lot but he always stepped up to the plate. So yes the best Doctor I have ever had. Any Primary Care Physician (or any non doctor) in their right mind would see the benefits of a specialist's report... as well as the urgency. But not her. Her office person Liza was also very unhelpful to the point of being rude and bombastic. It's unfortunate that a doctor wouldn't try to help someone see a specialist and get the urgent specialized care that they needed. Horrifying. Stay away from Dr Spitzer like the plague. He's hands on and always says to call if there's a problem no matter what time it is-- he will be there. If we can't find the answer to why my kid isn't feeling well- he will do more research to find an answer. It's hard to find doctors like this so I am very grateful to have Dr. Stein!
