I called to schedule an appointment and saw D'agostini. As I was going to the room, he was in the hallway talking LOUDLY into some type of voice recorder about his previous patient. What happened to "patient privacy?" He came into the room with an attitude. As we talked, he was loud and abrasive. He cut me off and didn't want to hear what I was saying. I was so taken back, I didn't know how to react to what was happening. I was so shocked therefore totally forgot the questions that I had. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE bedside manner. I don't usually leave reviews, but this one is warranted. I would highly recommend AGAINST going to this guy. His rudeness was ridiculous and I actually felt like I was being shamed. I left feeling embarrassed and defeated for even going there and how I was treated. My vet treats my dog with more dignity. The assistant was not smart either and I'm pretty sure she wrote the wrong information to charge the health insurance-calling it a simple leg pain. Even the woman doing the X-ray was devoid of personality and care. If you want to feel worse about yourself, have someone make you feel bad and use the term "fat" a lot, then by all means - have at it. read more

I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share my experience so other parents are aware and do not have similar experiences. This appointment was scheduled for my 12-year-old daughter. When I first called to make the appointment, I specifically asked whether this office had a doctor that  saw patients of my daughter's age. The scheduler assured me that they did have a doctor and gave me an appointment. It is important to note that we did not specifically seek to  see Robert J. D'Agostini Jr, but rather asked for any doctor that saw patients of my daughter's age. We were given an appointment for August 12, 2025 and  after waiting two weeks (and taking a day off work), we finally came in for the visit.The nurse informed us that my daughter needed X-rays. I politely asked if we could first consult with the doctor to confirm that he was the right specialist, and then proceed with X-rays if necessary. We were then taken to the exam room.The doctor entered abruptly without knocking, immediately displaying irritation and poor bedside manner. Before I even had the chance to explain my daughter's concerns, he looked at her file and told us we should not be in his office because she is 12 years old. I explained that the scheduling team told us otherwise. Instead of addressing the mistake professionally, he expressed visible annoyance, sighed loudly, and complained about other doctors referring patients to him -- something that had nothing to do with us as patients.During the exam, he was dismissive, rushed my daughter, and was frankly rude towards her. He gave instructions so quickly that she struggled to keep up, and rather than guiding her patiently, he reacted with more frustration. His manner of examination felt rough and careless, with no tenderness or consideration for a child. My daughter was visibly uncomfortable and left feeling traumatized by the way she was treated. As a parent, I was distraught and still blame myself for not stopping the exam sooner. I was caught off guard by such unprofessionalism, that I was not  able to give the reaction sooner. At the end, he stated she needed X-rays. When I reminded him that we simply wanted his medical opinion first, he opened the door, turned back, and bluntly demanded whether we wanted them or not. Still caught off guard, I said that if necessary, we would have them done. He walked away without further explanation.At that point, I realized the level of unprofessionalism and lack of respect we had just experienced. I told the nurse and the doctor directly that I did not want him to be my daughter's caregiver, citing his poor bedside manner and unprofessional conduct. He raised his voice, dismissed my concerns, and even tried to bypass me by speaking directly to my daughter. That was completely inappropriate and unacceptable.In summary, this doctor displayed rudeness, impatience, and a complete lack of compassion -- qualities no patient, especially a child, should encounter  ever. The entire experience left my daughter traumatized and me distraught. Parents deserve a provider who communicates respectfully, listens with care, and treats children gently. Unfortunately, that was not our experience here. I even left wondering if there was something about us that irritated this doctor, because he was openly and visibly annoyed and rude from the very beginning. Whether it was frustration over a scheduling issue or some form of bias based on his own criteria, it is completely unacceptable for any physician to treat patients in this manner. He performed partial knee replacement in Nov 2021 and I am having total knee replacement in Jan 2023 due to his surgery. His surgery caused fracture of tibial plateau resulting in 12 weeks of non-weight bearing. This was not diagnosed by him; it was diagnosed by another orthopedist. Dr D missed it on 2 of his x-rays, failed to listen to my constant complaints of excessive pain, and failed to send me for a CT scan which was done 1 week after my last office visit with him by another orthopedic that confirmed the tibia fracture. It is now over a year after the surgery and I am still in pain with every step and walk with a limp. Based on my present orthopedic's opinion, It appears from x-rays that the partial knee replacement is now loose. Dr D is very dismissive and rude. Have been going to Dr. D'agostini for ten years, first for shoulder problem (bicep tendonitis), then arm (first tennis elbow, then golfers elbow) and all were resolved really quick, good diagnosis. He is a big advocate of ibuprofen which I was hesitant at first due to the dosage, but hey it worked. He is associated with Tri-County Orthopedics since the onset of the pandemic has been terrible on other doctors (the spine specialists) meeting their scheduled appointments, but I would go if the problem was related to the specialties of Dr. D (arm, shoulder, hip). read more

Robert Dagostini is probably the rudest person I've ever met in my life. I cannot believe he has a career in healthcare. This man is redefining dismissive and condescending. A blowhard know-it-all with whom I would never waste another moment of my time. I think his bloated sense of self-esteem makes him think he is a straight shooter, but in actuality he is ill mannered and rude. read more
