D&D completed a re-roof on our 2 commercial buildings. We solicited 3 bids. D&D was very competitive, came out within a few days to look at our project and submitted their bid quickly as well. Rich was our estimator and project manager. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns. He obviously cared that we got a quality job completed. Our new roof has now been through a couple huge down-pours over the last few months with no leaks or issues. This is a flat roof that has had leaked at places for years. I told them I had leak, they assessed and I followed ALL of their recommendations, at a $1500 cost, after they "fixed" my roof. On the very first rain, the leak was worse, when I reached out to them they said they could fix it for $3000 more, the contractors board took 5+ months, then informed me D&D had zero responsibility My question is where does that end, lets say I pay them $3000 and it leaks again, they are apparently not responsible and could tell me they'll fix it for $10000 This is why my experience was horrible. Very disappointed with the quality of workmanship. We spent 43k for a new roof in 2018. We had curling shingles in 2019. In 2022 we had some roof shingles blow off. D & D wanted us to go through the Mfg warranty, which failed, we paid to have the roof repaired. Now is 2025, same area, the shingles blew off again. Again we are required to pay. Employees were always kind and considerate but the quality of work is very disappointing. No recommendations here. read more

Zero stars. Do not go here for a new roof. Just over a year after having the roof replaced there is a major leak. Contacted D&D 4 weeks ago and they said they would come out when they had time. It is New Years Eve and a storm blew in. The roof is totally leaking and there is a lot of water damage. Had they come out 4 weeks ago and patched the area, until they could repair it, we wouldn't have a problem. Just had one of your lovely employees today with road rage because he was hauling ass in the very right lane as I was merging onto the freeway at 55mph right before a construction zone and apparently that wasn't fast enough for him. So he felt the need to drive next to me and flip me off because his day was so inconvenienced that he had to slow down and go the speed limit. Maybe don't drive in the far right lane if merging traffic is going to make you have that bad of a day. Hope he had the day he deserves! One of their drivers of a work truck is going to get pepol killed on the road. truck 204 cut of no less than 4 different vehicles in extemly bad road conditions the whol hwywas ice coverd in snow. In less than a 5 mile period, he was flashing his lights and honking his horn at car because he was in the fast lane. It will cost you more than you expect to have to fix the damage they do!! 2) Their A+ rating by the BBB is a total farce. The company doesn't have to satisfy the customer at all to have that rating. Earlier in the year we had an estimate to have installed a solar tube. We finally were able to schedule in 6/21 and the office still accepted the earlier estimate we were provided. The manager contacted us within 2 weeks of signing a contract and a date was scheduled. He informed us who would be coming to work on the job. The staff was on time and worked in a professional manner. They were also friendly and worked nonstop until the job was completed that day. The solar tube is everything we wanted and more. We have so much bright light in the kitchen and sometimes we forget and think we have the lights on. I know sometimes companies don't get the recognition they deserve so if you are looking for a company to install a solar tube or more please contact D&D Roofing. I didn't personally have my roof done by this company. However, my neighbors did and boy was it a mess. After the job was done, they left garbage all over the place: nails, bits of old roofing laying all around my neighbor's house. It was so bad I could hear my neighbor calling them to get back and finish cleaning up. My neighbor talked with me about it and explained how the roofing job itself was lacking and that they were going to just go up there and finish hammering down nails, etc. Definitely not a place I would call should I need a roof. read more

We had our house roofed by D&D Roofing in January 2018. While it took longer than anticipated to start the job, D&D kept the original estimate and waited until the weather was optimal. They were the only roofers who agreed to take the old (30 year old) roof off and replace it. We were fortunate to have Dale (the foreman), Eric and Alex (the roofers) do our roofing job. They patiently explained the process and showed us all the material they were using, along with all the warranties. They answered every question and even took the extra time at the end of each day to make sure we were satisfied with the progress and work. Needed roof repairs on my house and complete roof replacement on a rental house. I called D&D and two other roofing companies for quotes. D&D was the only one that called me back. Bret came out the next day and inspected both jobs in detail. I received a written proposal for both the next day. Never heard from the other two roofing companies, so I went with D&D. They had a crew available for the repair within 3 days, showed -up as promised and completed the job in one day. The roof replacement was originally estimated to begin the beginning of November, but slipped to the first week of December, which was no big deal. Their crew started on Monday morning and had the job finished on Friday. Great job and very professional. Would highly recommend D&D. read more

This company was recommended by our insurance. Called the one in Carson City, spoken with the lady and she stated that, "Within the NEXT couple of DAYS, someone will contact you." Still no contact had been made. I also called and left plenty of messages for anyone, but never got a call back. Not a good way to treat a customer. I called the Sparks store and the rude lady there, basically stated the reason for poor customer service, was because they were "so busy and two weeks out", and I should not have been expecting a called for weeks. What??? A simple call, that I was promised, I should wait?? Yeah okay, what real world expectation is that. Do what you say your going to do, like call in a couple days. Also, that information of being behind would have been nice to know from the Carson store, so we were not wasting our time or the insurances times, waiting for a SIMPLE call, just to get an estimate. I called our insurance company and they felt bad for recommending them and they are not going to recommend D and D anymore. I get being busy, but good customer service should really be a big part of a company mission. I could tell D and D do not care about customer service. Okay , My review is: In July I signed a contract for a new roof which was suppose to be installed in the middle of October. I heard nothing form them by the second week in October so I called them and spoke to Jeremy. He put me on hold and said he would check with his boss. He came back and said they were really busy and would get to me in the middle of November. It is now the 13th of November and no one has contacted me. I am very upset with this company. I actually got two estimates. D&D was a little bit more than the other one but went with D&D because my husband who has passed away was a roofer also and had his own company, but he also worked with D&D roofing and he said they were a good company.. Today I had contact with a D&D Roofing truck. I was driving on the freeway and taking my sick six year old son to the hospital and a D&D truck pulled up next to me and the driver flipped me off and swerved into my lane at my car several times(and we have it all on video). The driver kept swerving at my car and flipping us off and my son was terrified. And then the driver drove off like at bat out of hell. Truck #192 and Nevada license Plate # 82E 923. I Called D&D and had to leave a message because I was told there were no supervisors available. Finally someone name Dale called me back and told me he spoke with the driver( he had no idea who I was speaking about since when I left my message I gave zero vehicle information). Dale told me he spoke to the driver and believed his story and didn't want to even hear my side. I asked to speak to his boss and I got the run around. D&D say they are locally owned, I am a local aNd have been sine 1984 and I have never been treated like this from a locally owned Reno company. This supervisor never once apologized or even asked if my family was ok.
