We recently bought a house and have a lot of projects to do. Very happy with our new roof from mountain vista! They were able to come out for a free quote quickly, and got us in on the schedule before the end of the year (and before the storms!) Pricing was a bit more expensive than the other companies we got quotes from, but the quick service was unbeatable and the quality of their work and supplies was worth every penny! The project only took two days. All the men working were kind and efficient. Alex was our main point of contact and he is very knowledgeable. In August 2025, we interviewed several roofing companies for replacement of our old roof. Alex with Mountain Vista Roof Systems came to our home and provided a lot of information regarding the scope of the work, materials to choose from, warranties, timeframes, and much more - and was still very patient with all our questions. We chose Mountain Vista to complete our roof replacement and paid a $1,000 deposit. A few weeks later, our circumstances changed, and we decided to cancel the contract with Mountain Vista. We requested a return of the deposit, and although Mountain Vista was under no obligation to return it, they did so immediately (we had a check within a few days) and wished us well. Very good experience with Jeff and his team. I inquired for quotes on Yelp and they got back to me very quickly. They were booked out until the end of the month but Jeff was able to squeeze us in at the start of the new year. They replaced flashing for our chimney, which was too small from the previous stove. It ended up needing to be moved over about a foot since the new chimney was wider. They patched the hole from the original pellet stove chimney and opened a new spot in the roof to install the flashing for the new chimney. read more

I had a most frustrating text conversation regarding setting up an appointment for a roof inspection and estimate for repair or replacement of roof and gutters. Numerous texts back and forth with me being clear about what we were requesting and the the responses not addressing our request. I then called in to learn that estimates are only done in the morning. He also showed me how to read the new nv energy bills to see how much energy we were producing. Alex was very professional and easy to work with regarding an insurance claim. Jorge/Junior team did a great job installing the new roof, cleaning up debris daily, installed metal valleys, replacing flashing on the fireplace, and completinginstalling the project within a few days. Contacted a total of 22 roofing companies for quotes. Five would only give quotes if I paid them $300-400/each upfront. One did not come out to the house and gave an estimate by reviewing satellite photos. One merely walked around the exterior without going on the roof to take measurements or look at the damage. Several refused to work with an insurance claim, even though the homeowner was responsible for all interaction with insurance. Quotes that were received exceeded what insurance was willing to pay by $10,000 or more. Mountain Vista and Alex are the only company that provided a quote within the amount being paid by insurance. Only company I would use. They even painted drip edges to match the trim color on the fascia of the house, reinstalled all rain gutters, and repaired leaks. Just amazing. Alex even created a special trap door on the roof of the the pump house to make it easy to access the well pump (so roof would not be destroyed if the pump needed to be accessed for repair or replacement in the future). This is the first company you should call for all of your roofing needs. read more

They tore off our old shingles, repaired plywood boards, and installed the new shingles. The crew was very respectful of my property. They laid tarps everywhere and cleaned roofing debris thoroughly. Aaron, the owner, inspected the roof to ensure his crew met his standards - and to ask if we were happy. Prior to the installation, I had to put a minimal 1k deposit. After the install, I never received an invoice so I just sent them a check for the balance due. The office girl was exceptionally great to work with, and speak with, before & after the install. My experience with this company has been so extremely positive in every single way since the very first phone call, that I will be recommending them to every single friend and acquaintance who needs a new roof, gutters, drywall repairs, or solar. First of all, there is no "hard sell." You call them, you schedule someone to come out and take a look, they give you a quote. Zero pressure, zero sales tactics: just a fair price for quality services and workmanship and you can take your time to decide. I ended up getting a new roof with integrated solar shingles, new gutters with leaf guard, and drywall repairs for less than half the price that another company had quoted me for less. Secondly, all of the workers are very kind, professional, responsive to communications, and excellent at their jobs. It is clear that they were all handpicked to embody the high vision of the company by its founder and owner, Aaron Galloway, who is as noble a human being as one could ever hope to meet. I am a HUGELY INEXPERIENCED first-time homeowner and I was afraid that this process would overwhelm me, especially in the midst of my busy life. Aaron, Jonathan, Alex, and Arielle held my hand throughout the whole process. Respectively, they made special trips out to talk with me; dealt with all the HOA paperwork, approvals, engineering plans and such for the solar without me having to really lift a finger; itemized the bill in just the way I needed for my federal clean energy tax credits... everything. Thirdly, the quality of the work and materials is excellent. I am only the third person in the entire state of Nevada to have had this new GAF solar shingle technology installed in my home. The first person was Mr. Aaron Galloway himself, who chose to experiment on his own home so that he could vouch for the product before selling or installing it for any of his customers. The installation of the inverter for the solar system required the removal of some drywall from my beautifully-finished garage. I did not truly believe what they said that they would repair it to where I wouldn't even be able to tell afterwards... but it was actually true. I walk out into my garage now and I could not tell you where the chunks were removed and then replaced. There isn't even so much as a border where you can tell that the new parts were painted over. The wall is as smooth and evenly-colored as when I bought the home. But I have to say that where Aaron Galloway and his company most impressed me was in how they made things right that were not up to their own customer service standards. There was a mix-up with some paperwork that NV Energy needed, so it took longer for my system to get integrated to the grid and for me to start reaping the savings. They took care of dealing with NV Energy without stressing me out about it and then Aaron asked me to send the office my energy bills for the last three months, which the company reimbursed me for in their entirety via a mailed check. When I saw the check and realized that they were covering costs beyond just electricity, I asked him to send me a new check for the lesser amount, but he insisted that I accept the check as it was. Not only that, but if the mix-up was on their end, he never threw anyone under the bus or did anything other than stoically accept the responsibility of the company as a whole to make ME whole again. That is a level of almost storybook decency I rarely encounter. When NV Energy finally completed its inspection and everything was set to go, Aaron himself came out to turn everything on and teach me how it works, even though he could have just called me or sent somebody else. He had to order an antenna because my Wi-Fi signal wasn't reaching the apparatus and he insisted on not charging me a dime for it. I am very grateful to the friends who recommended Mountain Vista Roof Systems to me and very happy to have met the likes of Aaron Galloway and his crew of quality employees.
