I needed a full roof replacement and got quotes from at least 10 different places. I had extra work I wanted to get done while the roof was off and Mountain Vista was the only one who took the extra time to really give me options for my project and really took the time to listen and provide multiple solutions. Aaron met up with me multiple times to make sure my extra work was prioritized and answered all the questions I had about materials and installation. Alex made sure to drop off some material early so I could get it painted before install, and communicate with the crew to coordinate my requests. The crew were all friendly and considerate completed the job quickly and when they left my yard was cleaner than it started. I know all the work I was doing was getting a little in the way, but I appreciated them taking the time to work around me and never making it seem like they were annoyed. They were able to come out for a free quote quickly, and got us in on the schedule before the end of the year (and before the storms!) Pricing was a bit more expensive than the other companies we got quotes from, but the quick service was unbeatable and the quality of their work and supplies was worth every penny! In August 2025, we interviewed several roofing companies for replacement of our old roof. Alex with Mountain Vista Roof Systems came to our home and provided a lot of information regarding the scope of the work, materials to choose from, warranties, timeframes, and much more - and was still very patient with all our questions. We chose Mountain Vista to complete our roof replacement and paid a $1,000 deposit. A few weeks later, our circumstances changed, and we decided to cancel the contract with Mountain Vista. We requested a return of the deposit, and although Mountain Vista was under no obligation to return it, they did so immediately (we had a check within a few days) and wished us well. Very good experience with Jeff and his team. I inquired for quotes on Yelp and they got back to me very quickly. They were booked out until the end of the month but Jeff was able to squeeze us in at the start of the new year. They replaced flashing for our chimney, which was too small from the previous stove. It ended up needing to be moved over about a foot since the new chimney was wider. They patched the hole from the original pellet stove chimney and opened a new spot in the roof to install the flashing for the new chimney. read more

I had a most frustrating text conversation regarding setting up an appointment for a roof inspection and estimate for repair or replacement of roof and gutters. Numerous texts back and forth with me being clear about what we were requesting and the the responses not addressing our request. I then called in to learn that estimates are only done in the morning. He also showed me how to read the new nv energy bills to see how much energy we were producing. I pointed out a few shingles that had gone sideways and he got out his ladder and some nails and fixed them no charge. He went above and beyond. Alex was very professional and easy to work with regarding an insurance claim. Jorge/Junior team did a great job installing the new roof, cleaning up debris daily, installed metal valleys, replacing flashing on the fireplace, and completinginstalling the project within a few days. Contacted a total of 22 roofing companies for quotes. Five would only give quotes if I paid them $300-400/each upfront. One did not come out to the house and gave an estimate by reviewing satellite photos. One merely walked around the exterior without going on the roof to take measurements or look at the damage. Several refused to work with an insurance claim, even though the homeowner was responsible for all interaction with insurance. Quotes that were received exceeded what insurance was willing to pay by $10,000 or more. Mountain Vista and Alex are the only company that provided a quote within the amount being paid by insurance. Only company I would use. They even painted drip edges to match the trim color on the fascia of the house, reinstalled all rain gutters, and repaired leaks. Just amazing. Alex even created a special trap door on the roof of the the pump house to make it easy to access the well pump (so roof would not be destroyed if the pump needed to be accessed for repair or replacement in the future). This is the first company you should call for all of your roofing needs. read more

I obtained 4 roofing bids. Mountain Vista Roof Systems was the lowest and quickest to get me on the calendar. The roofing crew did the job in 1.5 days. They tore off our old shingles, repaired plywood boards, and installed the new shingles. The crew was very respectful of my property. They laid tarps everywhere and cleaned roofing debris thoroughly. Aaron, the owner, inspected the roof to ensure his crew met his standards - and to ask if we were happy. Prior to the installation, I had to put a minimal 1k deposit. After the install, I never received an invoice so I just sent them a check for the balance due. The office girl was exceptionally great to work with, and speak with, before & after the install.
