I actually had to be out of town while they were working, and they sent me daily short video walkthroughs showing exactly what they finished that day and what the plan was for the next morning. It gave me total peace of mind. ​They were also super flexible with how we handled materials. I love to hunt for a deal, so they were totally fine with me buying things myself. Other times they would just source the materials and have the hardware store call me so I could pay over the phone. ​The job itself was a beast. I had them rip out two layers of old cemented-in tile and carpet and replace everything with hardwoods. The final result looks incredible. We mainly requested a bid on two projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were very impressed with how realistic, but also open-minded he was with what portion of our "bonus" projects we could fit in. The formal quote came in fast after our initial meeting, was easy to follow, and fairly priced. Found the proposed timeline to be very well balanced for efficiency vs realism. Appreciated the suggestions provided for if we should/could "live-in" during the remodel vs. a timeline that would allow the bulk of the work to overlap with a time that we were going to be out of town already. Also insights on what it would be worth "buying in advance" to take advantage of sales, even if the actual work was delayed. We got a few quotes and would have felt confident moving forward with any of them when the time came, but the quality of their portfolio and Avi's attentive listening definitely put Teamwork Home Designs at the top of the list. Some aspects of the workmanship appeared rushed, and based on our experience, I would recommend exercising caution with detail-oriented tasks such as wood staining, drywall, painting, or door hardware installation. This project did not go as smoothly as anticipated, and I would not choose to work with this company again.

There was a contractor that was being used by a homeowners in the area - RJM CONSTRUCTION ATX, (Mario Padilla) so with a great recommendation, I trusted him to do the work. And he started out great! My project started on March 29, 2021 The last day I saw him on my project was August 23, 2021 There was some discussion about broken windows during installation and a few other unfinished pieces, like the kitchen, the bathrooms, and the floors. If you've seen him, please let me know or remind him he never finished the work at my house. Shame on me for trusting him, as I paid more up front than I should have. If you have a good recommendation that might help me salvage the work, that would be greatly appreciated. Of course, I'll be doing my due diligence! I finished a bathroom remodel with Koren and Daniel in March 2025. The process of getting there was painful in terms of communication and steering, but at least the shiny new bathroom they initially delivered was not bad. However, in September 2025 the shower tiles started popping out of the floor. I texted them and they had to come in and replace it. Okay maybe it was a one-off. But then less than a year later, by April 2026 the *replaced* tiles started popping out again. I tried dealing with it myself with tile glue, but other tiles kept popping out. I texted them again in August, and this time they said that they stand behind their work for only one year from the original project date, and I need to pay $1200 if I want them to fix it. Notice that it hasn't been 1 year even from the replacement date. It's really not worth it. Go with the slightly more expensive contractor they will do the job right once and for all.
