The service here is great and really friendly. The guy who you normally see behind the counter clearly knows the domestic car market inside out and is happy to answer any questions you might have about how to fit or remove anything you might be buying from him. On the down side though the selection of parts can be a little limited. This is mainly, it seems, to do with the size of the place - without a large yard you can't have a large stock. I've been there twice looking for a new wiper motor for my car and had the same stock response both times, "I've not got one in at the minute but call again on Saturday and there should be one then" . To be fair though, if you need to replace a part and don't want to pay the dealers' extortionate prices then this is the place to come first.

Although I was told the fault had been repaired, the same problems continued. Over the following year, several independent garages inspected the vehicle and identified multiple issues affecting the suspension, steering and drivetrain, including components relating to the same areas that had been repaired before I bought the car. I have since had to pay for repairs and have retained the replaced parts. When I raised my concerns with the dealership, they relied heavily on the fact that the vehicle later passed an MOT with no advisories, despite independent mechanics continuing to identify faults. Rather than offering a practical resolution, the matter was referred to solicitors, who ultimately denied liability. My experience has been disappointing. I would have expected a dealer to investigate the concerns thoroughly and work towards a fair resolution, particularly where issues were reported shortly after purchase. Based on my experience, I would advise anyone buying a vehicle from Lottbridge Motoring Centre to have an independent inspection carried out before purchasing and to keep detailed records of any issues that arise.

This garage is awful.... I phoned the garage for a quote for some work on an MOT failure and they…read moreestimated approx £160 to fix but with some uncertainty with a certain issue. When I took it to the garage I was then quoted by a 2nd person at approx £250 at least without fully knowing what the problem with the issue was, clearly a lack of communication here or a chance to rip me off ! I then suggested that they focus on the issue that they didn't know about and let me know a firm price for the works.... They didn't do this for free, knowing they may get some work out of me they charged me £30 just to look at it so I had some thoughts that this garage is certainly taking me for a ride... After agreeing yes I would like a firm price and to know fully what the issue is I left this with the garage. After having a look I received a phone call to say that my cylinder was leaking and this needed to be replaced plus replacement of the other parallel wheel. They then totalled the amount with this added work at £450 300 quid more than the original quotation... With shock I put the phone down and said I will pick the car up ASAP, this was clearly a rip off !! To prove a point and my incline that the garage was taking me for a ride I then went to another garage to quote..... This garage quoted me £180, parts, labour everything included ! I found out later that the only thing to do with this supposed leak was to adjust my brake shoes/pads so it stops leaking... I know have a full MOT !!! This is £270 difference and the garage was prepared to rip a customer off that much. I want to make customers aware this garage is an absolute rip off and they should not go there !! Awful, awful customer service and clearly out to take people for a ride, they have lost a good customer being in the motor trade myself buying me selling cars !!!
