After some very workable negotiation with the owner, and hearing from acquaintances who had done business with him on larger home projects, I hired Clean Rivers. My experience with every single employee was positive. Questions were always answered and changes made throughout the job were handled to my satisfaction. As often happens the job grew in scope and size as we moved through the process. I changed the design pavers before we got that far, and I increased the total area to be paved. I changed from a veg garden to raised beds, and I had them install a new beautiful fence. Two small decks were added. I now have a lovely private clean space that I use all the time now. The photos that I submitted were taken last spring. I now have a lovely raised veg garden and even a couple of potted trees. I love it. I recommend Nate and his crew. I would hire Clean Rivers again. If you want something done well, you pay for it. They have the equipment and personnel to do a great job.

We appreciated that he pointed out a couple of things needing our attention but not having to do with the home's stability in case of earthquake. He then gave equal attention to the crawlspace, taking photos to show us what was down there. It was great to hear that our builder in 1981 had properly attached the upper construction to the foundation so that it didn't need any further reinforcement. We wanted to pay him for the two hours spent with us, but he refused saying it was part of the company's offer of a free inspection. Walt seemed very knowledgeable, thorough and honest, so it's easy to give him five stars!

Then... they went "corporate". Everything changed. Just ask the employees! That is, if they are still employed. It's just very sad to see such a reputable company turn sour in an entire community by selling out to the big guys. But... nobody can blame the Bracelins or the Yeagers. This ball now lies in the lap of those big boys. Consumer viewpoints speak volumes, and you don't have to eavesdrop long to hear someone complaining about LTM and reminiscing about "the good ol' days" when Spook & Leroy owned the company. A very sad truth.
