The person who does the dispatch here is the worst and very rude. My suggestion is to find another plumber.

This is going to be a long review but I wanted to help other potential customers get some idea of…read morewhat kind of work this company does. In one word - exceptional! I called Loose Deuce Septic & Tank Services and was scheduled promptly for a tank pump the following week. Shawn and Cayton, Shawn's son, arrived at the promised time and began to lay out their equipment and materials. I noticed they were careful to protect all our plants and house. They laid out tarps on the grass for protection and began searching for the tank. It was uncanny how quickly Shawn found the tank. Soon there was a pile of dirt and sod on one of the tarps. I noticed that Shawn pieced out the sod carefully and laid them on the tarp in the exact orientation that he removed them. The tank was full of solids which Shawn said was not a good sign. They pumped the tank and the Shawn went down a ladder into the tank. He blasted the walls and floor with water and inspected everything. He noticed that the inlet and outlet pipes were loose in their tank holes. More digging! The outlet tank pipe to the distribution box and the tank inlet pipe were quickly exposed and two more piles of dirt and sod were placed carefully placed on tarps. Shawn cut new sections of pipes since they old pipes were cracked and leaking into the soil surrounding them. He mortared these pipes both inside and outside the tank and distribution box to keep them secure. He cleaned out the distribution box. The holes were then filled and everything was left exactly as if they had never been there. Shawn and Cayton are diligent, honest, friendly, hard workers with a great sense of humor. They do the job right and at a very reasonable price. You clearly understand the cost of their service and if the scope of the job changes they are up front with the revised cost. They are true professionals, knowledgeable in all aspects of their business. They are the kind of people that make you feel like you are part of their family. I highly and without reservation recommend Loose Deuce Septic & Tank Services for your septic needs!

They got back to me right away, and scheduled an appointment for the next day to pump our two tanks. They arrived a little early, which was great, and did a fantastic job on both of the tanks. I've included some before, and after pictures that they provided, as well as looking at them visually from when they were completed, and the difference is astounding. Not only did they remove the waste, but they cleaned both tanks. In addition, Loose Deuce performed some cleaning and maintenance on our main house tank, that is a dual chamber 1500 gallon tank. I've included photos of the difference, and they also showed me how to perform maintenance on them as well as how often. They also set up email reminders on a schedule for us, to avoid letting them go too far before pumps. Shawn and his crew are also super nice and helpful. They went above and beyond for an extremely reasonable price. I like to support small, local businesses and Loose Deuce is a great example of why. Exceptional service and results. They are now my go to for our home!

The owner, Tim Smith, came to the house and diagnosed the water leak in our bathroom as being…read morecaused by a wax seal needing replacement under the toilet. The technician Tyler Leqve was sent over to remove the toilet and replace the ring although I was surprised since it hadn't been replaced all that long ago. Although this house was build in 1950, we have all original matching fixtures in our bathroom. A little over a month later, water was again noticed on the floor. The technician came over and took photos showing the leak was actually happening between the water tank and the toilet, which had been regularly maintained for it's lifetime with. So one of two things probably happened: 1) the original problem was misdiagnosed and we were charged $214 for the wrong problem, or 2) the problem was correctly diagnosed, and the toilet removal caused damage to the seal between the water tank and toilet. I don't believe in coincidences and doubt that the toilet randomly damaged it's seal without the movement to replace the wax seal. When I asked Tim Smith about the situation, 1) he denied causing the damage, 2) said he would not fix the damage, 3) recommended I buy a new toilet, and then, 4) hung up on me. Not only did he fail to warranty his work, but I suspect that his technician caused this problem. Smith was extremely rude. His incompetence has caused my lovely 79-year old female renter who has 2 knee replacements, 1 hip replacement, and is recovering from a broken leg - to have to deal with sopping up water from the bathroom floor, until we could find another plumber (3 days later). In conclusion, Active Flow deserves a negative -5 stars. Smith shows extremely poor customer service, and either a) failed to fix the initial misdiagnosed issue, or b) caused another one which has cost me more money to repair. I'll be filling a complaint against him with the Oregon Construction Contractors Board.
