Yes, this is a regular one-stop-shop of the old-fashioned variety, where the owner knows the regulars and will cheerfully point you in the right direction for whatever obscure item you're looking for - and he knows, because he probably ordered it and placed it there himself. I've always had helpful and friendly service whenever I've walked in here - and have actually been pleasantly surprised to discover that I've also never left without the item I was looking for. It may look small, but this shopkeeper seems to have a sixth sense for what his customers will inevitably need.

I was lucky because I was the only person in the store so I got his undivided attention. They had a full range of Shure microphones and I ended up buying a small lapel one for 39.99. They also sell music specialty items, lighting, large range of headphones, electrical stuff like fires, lighting, clock radios, tools etc. Altogether a really handy store which is like one of those old fashioned shops where the staff really knew their products and could advise you professionally on the whole range. You just don't get that much anymore.

In the hot weather they manage to keep the air con going so you are not cooking whilst trying to find a pair of tights! The pharmacy section is good too, even if the pharmacist is busy with another customer, you can often get advice and help from a member of team who all seem very well informed. This store is also good at stocking all the specials that you see online and on TV and have a stock level to back it up. They have a massive selection of boots own brand as well as branded items so there is plenty of things to choose from. So, friendly, loads of choice, knowledgeable staff, clean and cool. Always make an effort to get to this boots rather than a small section of a supermarket.

I came here for a hen party, there were 13 of us. Our project for the day was 25 meters of bunting. We all cut triangles out, sew, iron, etc and tada, 25 meters of beautiful floral bunting. The downside, some of us quickly came to realise, was this: 25 meters of floral bunting: Amazon - £25-30 (5 packs of 5 meter bags) Homemade in London - £400+ (£35 x 13 girls, and the more people we had attend, I think it was still just going to be 25 meters) I wouldn't say its Homemade in London's fault, as I think the bride wanted bunting. But holy crap. Guess they totally cashed in on their scraps of fabric. Insane, I tell you. I just wish I had something that I made and took home to use. They did give us "Goody Bags", which in the end, was just a flower cut out from colored paper and a lollipop.

They are the worst dry cleaners ever I tried…read more I have used just once few days ago, I left few jumpers and a scarf. Everything made with wool got all ruined, especially my scarf from Burberry became crap. Like honestly completely ruined. If you are getting any cheap clothes cleaned there maybe its fine so you don't need to risk ruining something worthy, but otherwise DON'T take in anything slightly expensive. It will become something you could use for your dog's bed.
