Simple pine. 3-4 shelves. 12-18" deep. With a base. Unfinished. I have some wood and a big sheet of plywood I bought that you could use. Can you deliver in Manchaca?

Yes I am in the Manchaca area

Hi there. Can you make a 6 foot tall by 3 foot wide (at widest point) coffin shaped wood bookcase? If so what would be an approximate price?

Yes,I but I have to know more about it before I could get you a price. What type of wood, how many shelves, and what type of finish.

They built and installed all new cabinets, replaced lights fixtures, added new recessed lights, painted walls, ceiling, doors, added lights under the cabinets. Basically they did everything that I asked them to do. Also they agreed to put back my old granite countertop that helped me to save some money. I was very happy that they took ownership of the whole project, and I did not have to hire anyone else. Another thing that I really appreciated was that Chris was easy to work with. He gave me good advice when I asked his opinion. He never insisted on things to be done his way and always did it how I asked him to even when things had to be redone. I would highly recommend working with Chris and his team! They are very prefossional and have expertise in doing everything, and also their pricing is reasonable.

The furniture had been built to such a poor standard that I had no choice but to find someone who could correct the numerous mistakes. I was very worried about what might even be possible and of course the cost of essentially redoing the job. Chris put my fears to rest. He assured me that he could correct the problems but also had great ideas on how to change/improve the overall look. He and his team did an excellent job, were thorough and professional, timely, and a Great value for the money. I am thrilled with the finished product. If I have any needs at all in the future for custom work, I know 100% that I'll be using Chris Dardon and do highly recommend him

They communicated between the two of them and set up times independently (based upon our schedule, of course!) for the plumbing to get done and the drywall etc repair to start. Then like clockwork, the one was finished, the other arrived and took over. I cannot stress enough how gentlemanly and considerate these guys are. They covered all surfaces, moved furniture carefully, and lined the walkway between the front door, where they'd set up outside, and the pathway to our dining room where the repair work needed to take place. I'm working from home these days, and even though some of what they had to do was noisy, it was never obtrusive or distracting. They made sure to tent the area to keep debris, dust and noise to a minimum. In fact, they're taking their time to make sure the area is completely dry and secure before putting any finishing touches on the ceiling. AND they custom mixed paint into the popcorn they have to blow on so that it matches as closely as possible to our existing ceiling paint!! Did I mention how gentlemanly and considerate they are? :-) We will ALWAYS hire these gents again for anything else we need done around the house. Thanks Dave, and thanks to your great team!

I had been meaning to do a bunch of repairs on my house (which is just about 13 years old and remediated 6 years ago) and was trying to reach out to different people to do different jobs with varying levels of success. The result was a backlog of things to do and coordinate with different parties. I originally reached out to David for some help with repairing a shower door that had fallen off. He replied quickly and showed up to do his estimate as scheduled. While he was over, he looked at a bunch of the other things that I needed to have done and offered to do them as well. He repaired everything in one day only a few days later. I have to applaud David for his courage to start his own business. But this makes sense for him. He knows he is good at what he does and he is organized. He is highly professional in his correspondence. He will outline precisely what he intends to do. He is timely. He is versatile in the tasks that he can perform. He possesses initiative. And he will follow-up with thorough documentation of what was done and needs to be done. Payment is also easy and he accepts a number of modalities. I have attached some of the pictures he took for the various jobs including: 1. Window blind replacement 2. Water valve and supply line replacement (more details below) 3. Ceiling fan remote control failure diagnosis 4. Watersealing of door threshold (more details below) 5. Tub spout repair 6. Shower door repair and adjustment (I contacted a bunch of people who would not offer to do this) 7. Sliding door repair (which another contractor said they would fix but never did) I want to comment in particular on his ability to diagnose problems. For the longest time, my kitchen faucet had slow flow. Just the kitchen faucet. Over the years, I contacted perhaps 3-4 different plumbing companies. They recommended ridiculous things like increasing the water pressure to the house (which didn't make a lot of sense given that the other faucets were fine and was impossible because the pressure was already maximized) and even replacing the faucet altogether (which would cost $220 for the same model and not resolve the underlying problem). David diagnosed the problem as excess calcium build-up in the valves and he was right! He knew the answer when all the professional "tradesmen" did not. I also have what some people would call a "lemon" for a house. The contractors that built it did bad job. It was remediated but even after this remediation, I had problems. One of them was the balcony door which would leak water when it rained. I contacted the builder and they said that my second warranty had expired and they recommended how to repair it. Suffice to say that they were completely wrong and David uncovered some pretty shoddy workmanship and commented on the unorthodox remediation which would lead to the problem. I should have had David remediate my house. Overall, I am exceedingly happy to have stumbled upon this gentleman and would be pleased to refer him to others. He is basically the "doctor" you want for your house. I hope he stays in business a long time.

It wouldn't be so bad if he hadn't already re-scheduled with me once, since he forgot about a dentist appointment the day we had first arranged for him to come by. If he was too busy, or just not interested in the scope or location of the project, that would have been a polite and convenient time to tell me. Instead, I dragged the kids away from an activity they were really enjoying so we could make it home in time for this contractor who never showed, never answered his phone, and never responded to voicemail. No matter how good a craftsman he may or may not be, his failure to observe the very basic rules of business etiquette suggests that Chris Duncanson is just be one of those contractors for whom you have to factor in all the added costs of stress and frustration before deciding if his bill is worth it.

Koren was super pleasant to work with all around. Fast, clear communication before the initial meeting. A lot of a great ideas during the initial meeting, for how to keep our project within budget, and where it was worth splurging or dialing back. We had requested a bid on two main projects (Kitchen and Primary Bathroom) and help deciding the scope for the remainder of our projects (Flooring, Guest Bath, Office, Patio, Etc.). We were shocked by how much of the "bonus" projects we could fit in, and yet felt very confident with Koren's insights that these were realistically within our budget. The formal quote came in REALLY fast after our meeting, and was very easy to follow and extremely fairly priced. Was very impressed with how quickly they were ready to begin the work, and the forethought of asking us if we planned to "live-in" during the remodel vs. get an AirBNB or the like. We hadn't even thought of that. Would have been very confident in moving forward with ATX Remodeling. Especially as Koren had so many examples of the type of elaborate communication and oversight we would have at every stage of the process.

Michelle came out and gave a very thorough quote. She was fantastic. She worked with me on every little detail and gave great advice throughout. Michelle knows what she is doing and got me a quote that was crystal clear and very reasonable. Daniel ran the job and was fantastic as well. He had great insights, let me nag him about every possible question I could come up with, was flexible if I had any changes of heart about this or that, extremely easy to work with. All of his subs were top notch, which I can say as a business owner in the construction field myself is extremely rare. Plumbing, electrical, waterproofing, tile work, all were fantastic. He's surrounded himself with great people that get the job done right the first time. They didn't bat an eyelash at the art deco tile or the smart valves or any other unusual items I sent their way, they knocked it out with ease. And lastly Koren worked with me on any project details/paperwork that I needed. Was very responsive to everything I brought to him as I looked for assurances that I wouldn't have the same experience I had with the last folks. A very easy to work with company all around. I will be using these guys for future projects because the price is right, the quality is fantastic, and most importantly were willing to entertain any weird ideas I had. Your home is one of those things that has to be just right for you, and they made sure the bathroom remodel turned out just right for me. Would recommend them to anybody, and I'm a picky OCD guy, so that's saying something. Thanks again, ATX Remodeling!
